I just got 15 gold for sending a PM!
What does everyone think about the newest addition to Gaia? I like not having to do math to tell how much gold I've just earned doing a given activity. I have yet to find out how much more we get for taking polls.

I like it, it makes me feel like I'm acutally getting gold. (I notice the yellow telling me how much I got) and it is math free! Woot.

I don't like it. I can't pollwhore really, and I get nothing after being online for a while. And I'm always online for a while. gonk It kinda sucks for being a hardcore questor who relies on polling and posting for goldz. But maybe it's just like this now. I do prefer the set 10g every poll (dependant on how fast you vote of course) though. D:

I don't like how quickly the earnage tapers off either. Isn't it pretty similar to the way gold earning worked in 2004? I remember before I joined Gaia I was watching my friend poll whore and she'd stop and do other stuff after a while because she wasn't getting any gold for it.
And WHOA! Wasn't that labcoat you're questing for at least 100k cheaper like...yesterday? Is inflation really that bad or am I just imagining things?

I'm undecided on the ticker. It has it's bad points and good points, so it's kind of hard to say which is better. Polls really got a hit, but now more gold is given out from surfing. Posts are still irregular, and pms are a little erratic as well. Once the bugs are fixed (It's Gaia, there's undoubtedly bugs) I can make a final decision.

It's probably artificial inflation then...not that I actually know anything about how that stuff works. But hopefully it will come back down at least partially. sweatdrop

you do get more gold for surfing now, so i suppose its good that lurkers are getting their due. though inflation is going o be horrible, there has to be something that the admins can do about it. xp

I like the new thing, kind of sweet to actually notice how much you have made in a day. There is a new annoucment about how much you make on polls now
