The gold count feature looks interesting though I wonder if it will lead to more problems than solution.... of the allowance whining variety. Its good that it can be shut off too.

It seems that they messed with the gold rates too, it starts coming in fast but then it drops off.
At this point it seems to be a disadvantage to me.

I haven't tried any speed poll whoring yet, but I'm getting some interesting numbers for poking around the fourms anyway. The first poll post earned me 14 gold, up from 10 gold per vote.
What I don't get is the odd numbers given for 'surfing' the site. Oh well, I'm earning gold, for whatever good the chump change gold Gaia provides will ever be worth. dramallama

Yeah though its the style of drug addicition, first hit gives the most, the rest slow down to a crawl.

That's true. I've even been logged off for about three hours and now that I'm back it's still pretty stingy and the polls have dried up now. I don't usually poll whore so it isn't like I've gone berserk and done tons of polls either.
Of course the real fun part of all this is that I hear that the folks over at Magic Poll Land are going nuts. xd That almost makes it worth it.
