[ Kusafiri was slowly awakened in the thick trees of the jungle. This had been her favorite place out of all the others she had been to, but knew that moving on would be much better than staying in a permenant home. HEr violet eyes slowly opened and were greeted by the various shades of green around her. Of course, she was sticking out like a sore paw, seeing as she was pink and increadibly bright against the green backdrop of trees. ]

Msuluhivu walked around the jungle, rather depressed about her whole situation. She had awoken only a week before to find that her mate had seemingly deserted her, and by now she had decided that he would never come back. She was so upset, it was affecting her judgement.
She was not as alert as normal, actually, she might as well have been blind, she didn't see the pink bird, it was fortunate that nothing more dangerous was watching or she would brobably get hurt because of her lack of attention.

[ Her sharp eyes fell upon a leopard, who looked looked like there was something terrible wrong. A perfect time for her to drop in and begin to talk to it. Slowly she opened her wings and flew downwards towards her. And attemeped to land on her round rump and squaking loudly to get her attention. "Hello!" She shrieked at the leopard and stared at her with bright violet eyes. ]

The leopardess stopped and looked back at the bird that had just landed on her backside, "Hello..." She sighed, not wanting to be rude but not wanting to talk much either. She winced a bit at the sudden noise, but tried not to pay attention to it. "Whats a bird such as yourself doing in this part of the world anyway?"

[ What a sad thing, Kusafiri noticed that this one wasn't angry or upset at her sound. Just uncareing. She hopped along her back, blinking at the leopardess in wonder. "I am here because I travle to many places. I will not be here tomarrow." She said in a sweet tone. She hated that tone. She squaked joyfully as she felt it made a beautiful sound. "What is the matter?" She asked, cocking her head to the side. ]

Hivu nodded, "I've never been much of a traveler, though if I had your wings I'm sure I would like to see more of the world..." She said, hoping the conversation would keep her mind of things. "Oh, I've lost someone thats all," She said with a shrug, trying to force back tears at the thought of him, "It's no big deal..." She said, almost as if saying it would make it true.
But it didn't, tears trickled down her face, "No, it is a big deal, my mate, he left and I don't know where he is..."

[ Kusafiri preened at the leopards fur. "Awww." She cooed gently and snuggled hinto the little preened bit she had finished. "Travleing the world isn't fun. I have never met another that I have been willing to stay with." She chirped in attempt to make her feel better, although she was sure shew wasn't helping much. With a change of subject she tried sounding Cheerful, "What is your name?" ]

The bird wasn't making her feel any better, but she sure did seem to care, "Thank you, my name is Msuluhivu, but you can call me Hivu if you like." She said, forcing a smile onto her face, "Whats yours?" She asked, wiping her tears from her face with one paw.

[ Kusafiri had began to feel uncomfortable with this leopard. It may have been from the sheer sadness or the fact that it hadn't tried to eat her quite yet. She shifted from side to side and stared uneaisily at her. "I'm Kusafiri" He chirped at her kindly, but couldn't help but feel out of place. She snuggled deeper into her feathers, which made her snuggle deeper down into a mix of black and white fur. ]

"Alright then Kusafiri, its nice to meet you, though I'm sorry I can't be more cheerful." She said regretfully. She honestly felt out of place as well, she had never had a conversation with a bird before, she even remembered Tego killing and eating one like this one, "Perhaps you should go, there are others who would eat you as soon as meet you." She said with a shrug, "I'll keep you safe for now if you want, but when you leave I reccomend doing so quickly, I don't want someone as nice as you getting eaten."

[ Kusafiri shrugged. She enjoied talking to the leopard but it might be best to leave. If Hivu got hungry enough she might turn on her and eat her. She wriggled out of the fur nest and fluffed her feathers, it was probobly a good time to move on.

She nodded, "Goodbye Kusafiri, I hope we meet again when I won't bring the mood down so much." She said, attempting to sound cheerful.
