Lol!
I'm Canadian, and when I was in grade 9 had this guy in some of my classes from Oklahoma (he lived somewhere else before that, but I can't remember where). He talked exactly like that! Minus the ho's and crab's stuff. blaugh

I thought it was so hilarious. biggrin But he was probably disappointed that we didn't say, "Eh?" more often.

lmao! That reminds me of one of my friends. She moved into Cali from Canada and we gave her so much crap about the 'eh' thing! She accually did say it often! My boyfriend liked to ask her things and end each question with 'eh?' and every so often someone would say 'hey, why don't you tell us aboot your day' she was a good sport and always got a kick out of us making fun of her Cadanian past... You guys have the prettiest ID's though! With the flowers on it. Now I look at my Cali ID and wish it had flowers or mabey palm trees on it instead of a bunch of lines on a yellowish color... talk2hand Psh! Lame!

Hehe, I get a bit annoyed when people tease me about being Canadian, but I hear it so much that I can't help but be annoyed! It's okay sometimes, or if it's only a few jokes, but I had one friend who was constantly being like "eh, aboot, moose" whatever! Then he started sending me pictures and being like, "Look! This is what an American house looks like." rolleyes And then I'd say something like, "Uhh yeah...you think Canadian houses look SO much different? My house looks better than that one." and he'd keep going on and on...(just like I'm doing here..ha).
I don't think I've actually talked to him much since that day because he just drives me insane.

I actually was talking to an Australian at one point and he asked me if we had heating in Canada (as opposed to a simple fire). He also wanted to know how I had Internet access from an igloo.

I have never heard someone say aboot. Where in Canada do we say aboot? (I'm from Québec... they don't do that here... hmmmm... ninja )

I know! lol I don't know of anyone who even knows of someone who's said aboot before. It's strange!
And as for 'eh', I only do it when I'm joking to someone about being Canadian. xd Otherwise the only thing similiar to that is like "Hey" as in "Hey, how's it going?" etc, etc.

Haha. I remember when I was younger and would talk in chats I'd always say things like, "Oh no...it's starting to warm up and my igloo might start to melt! What am I going to do with my computer?!!!" and people would be like, "Really?!! :O", or I'd joke around about having a pet polar bear.
