I bought the first copy available in the local gamestop. Single player? Its hot. Multiplayer? Its hotter. Think GTA meets Counter Strike. Online vehicles, VIP (escort) modes called Protect tha Pimp, its a good game, like the bad boy who got your girlfriend in high school, underneath that white trash layer, its really a good game.

I hear THQ isn't using their servers but Xbox Live's servers.
A lot of complaints recently.

I won't buy it unless I can see proof that it's 250% better than Grand Theft Auto. I despise GTA.

I'm curious about the multiplayer. Some games just simply have more lag problems than others (Say, Prey. >_<). Anyone tell me the quality of connection they usually get on multiplayer?
I see it as a GTA rip off but whoever said multiplayer GTA is a bad thing?

yea, I was never a fan of the gta series..
but I'll rent this game, simply cause of the achievments.
or I might waste a rental and rent nfs:mw for the 360.
easiest 1k you could ever want.

greg-the-grim-reaper yea, I was never a fan of the gta series.. but I'll rent this game, simply cause of the achievments. or I might waste a rental and rent nfs:mw for the 360.
easiest 1k you could ever want.I can name atleast 8 games with easier achievments. >>

I just played the demo, and....
I'm going to the store tomorrow to get this game. I don't know what it is that makes me like playing it (since I don't like GTA), but... I like it.

Stayed up all night and finally beat this game, I think it took me 9 hours just for the story. gonk

The online multiplayer is pretty laggy according to what I've seen and I hear that the Match Rank or Rank Match or w/e isn't all that great in most situations..
