if your fighting some1 that you know is better than you or has a better weapon or position than kamikazee is always an option like say that your coming from higher ground with a sword and your oponent has a shotgun theres a good chance that your about to have your head shot off so throw a stick at the ground and try to use your sword from above him theres a good chance that you'll get normal melee damage if you can do it fast enough and your both dead.

Im not sure if your Xbox has the updates but if you hit somone with a sword from a higher ground they die right away. And i wouldn't risk dying like that i would wait intell i had a better chance of killing him.

well i know that but say you just jumped off the BR tower in lockout and the person that your fighting is closer to the glass once you jump no matter how close you land to them you wont be able to land close enough to the person to kill him with a sword if the person is smart so you through a stick and you cant sword right imedieitly after you through a stick and you sword somone who is stuck so that explains that

sweatdrop actually you really don't have to do any thing if you have good timeing (and he doesn't have an over shield)

another thing you could do is this
you know there is a room full of enemies
send in your teammate
stick a plasma to his back and let him run in
if there are survivors rush in and finish them off
