Chapter One:
In the beginning

In early 2003 as winter started to turn into spring, a new project had started in Barton's West Field. The creators of such a project were looking to bring nothing but happiness and joy to the people of Gaia.
However, their mission was doomed from day one. Ever since the project had started, many strange stories had started to develop, accompanied by the death of one of the many workers on the project.
Slowly but surely, worker by worker, the project was dropped by the winter of 2003, around October. By this time, it had become obvious what the project, what many people gave their lives to make, was. An amusement park!

Many months passed, and what was built was about to be torn down. But the spirits of those who strove to make the building live came to the mortal world yet again to finish their job! Mysterious workers would take up their tools and begin work yet again, only at night mind you.
Seeing as how the building had started again, any plans to destroy the grand Jekyll de Hyde have been dropped. However, any people who have visited have mysteriously come up missing. This is, because the spirits do not want anyone spoiling their grounds. Also, they despise the living, for the simple fact that they miss their own fleshy body.

No one knows what happened earlier in time, but be warned.. There are many macabre ghost stories that have been made up in a short year, many of which are true.

Now, some of you may be wondering how Jekyll de Hyde got it's name, or rather.. Why it was named after the popular novel. The name was developed through the legends that have been told.. The original name for the amusement park was 'The Gaia Experience,' however tales told said that the once beautiful amusement park turned to an awful place at night. Thus, the name Jekyll de Hyde was a good match.

You can look at it this way - Day time is Dr. Jekyll, and night turns the beautiful land into Mr. Hyde.

Chapter Two:
Introduction to the Residents

Well, it had been a few months since Jekyll de Hyde was completed.. and there was no activity. Outside of a few brave souls who wandered onto the grounds, only to be slaughtered by the many spirits.

However, late one night, a single female wandered onto the grounds, who went by the name of Taryn. What she was doing there was unknown, however young Taryn managed to make it to the seemingly only holy grounds in the park at night, the hotel! Unharmed no less!

She would ring the bell, only to attract another person. The only live resident of Jekyll de Hyde! A young emerald haired, ruby eyed teenager who went by the name of Midori. The two would talk for a few moments, unaware of another presence, oblivious to what may be danger!

However, the two other people who had arrived shortly after Taryn, Sirus and River.. They meant no harm. In fact, River was looking to be a waitress, and Sirus'.. well, his intentions weren't clear, but still he meant no harm to the living.

Midori, on the other hand, took his leave shortly after the trio arrived to a place unknown. Sirus' would catch sight of Midori as he walked toward the hotel, and due to the stories told of Jekyll de Hyde, Sirus obviously put Midori into question.. Midori, however, ignored iris for the time being, and Sirus would join the two females in the hotel.

It was strange.. the usually once quiet Jekyll de Hyde was filling up with people! While Taryn and Sirus spoke in the hotel, a very business man like figure was making his way into the hotel.. This strange man would be Drake!

the final person who would make her entrance for the night, would be the young neko Kyaroru Kusanagi, A.K.A Mimi.

Although it was seemingly an uneventful night, many new residents made their way into the hotel. Although the spirits were unhappy, which would be made obvious by random assaults on the guests, nothing horrible had happened just yet..

Chapter Three:
The Uncovering of the Batty Teenager, and Midori's death

The following day since the residents arrived at Jekyll de Hyde, the cheerful place took a turn for the worst as another group of three made their way onto the grounds. Lav, Memero, and Wolfwood..

They seemed to be after Midori at first, for some strange reason, and this turned out to be, as a matter of fact, true. Lav was the first to arrive, he was there to avenge Wolfwood, who had lost a fight against Midori.

Midori, the usually feisty teenager, kept ahold of his usual personality and mocked Lav. The arrogant teenager wouldn't even touch the pathetic Lav, he wanted to toy with him first.. Midori's fun was short lived. As av leaped into the air, he would draw a gun and fire a shot. Midori would have been unharmed, but he was inly able to dodge narrowly which resulted in his hat flying off of his head.

As the bullet pierced Midori's hat, it was sent off of the teen's head revealing large, black ears. Bat ears, no less! The once 'human' boy turned out to be some sort of scientifically enhanced project!

The enraged bat boy would take off his coat revealing bat wings. Small, but wings none the less. Midori would waste no time taking to the air to catch Lav, and with a great swing of his guitar/scythe, Lav was sent further into the air with a gust of wind.

It obviously wasn't what Midori intended. Lav would fire more shots, which Midori would take more care in dodging. He wasn't waisting any time in trying to take out his opponent.. Midori took another great swing with his weapon, this time the wind given from the swing tore through Lav's arm.

Lav, like an idiot, would unleash a great amount of energy afterward which destroyed the grounds he and Midori were fighting on. Midori took on a smart tactic when this happened, due to the light caused by such a large amount of energy being released, he would throw his weapon, and hide in the shadow while it flew at Lav. Lav knocked the guitar/scythe away, however, Midori was there to grab Lav in a bear hug, and sink his batty jaws into Lav's neck.

the fight should have ended there, however.. Shortly after, Wolfwood would appear behind Midori digging his sword into Midori's back.. Obviously killing him.

Memero, she just seemed to be a cheerleader.. But the trio seemed to have gotten what they came for.. and for some reason, Wolfwood revived Midori and disappeared. During that time, Midori's weapon was destroyed..

Chapter Four:
The Haunted Mansion Ordeal, and a Abnormal Curse

Many days have passed since Midori's fight, and the subject hasn't been brought up again, however many people still hold a grudge, Mimi and Midori mostly.

The residents have gotten along rather well up to this point, however the usually calm, mature business man, Drake, seems to have taken an a house wife attitude, and tried to Midori and Mimi from ruining the bar with a water fight. That's beside the point, of course..

Ryoko, a new person on the scene who just happens to be Mimi's older sister, who seems to have a bit of a grudge against Mimi. The whole story is unclear at this moment, but Mimi seems to have left her family, or clan. The Pride. With this new character, another came as well. Her name was Cynthia, the.. 'Waitress.'

Cynthia and Mimi had decided to venture into the haunted mansion, in search of a control panel. They two refused to believe in spirits up to this point, despite what Midori had said. The two females figured it was Midori who was behind the strange happenings.. However, if they knew Midori had a 'home' in the graveyard, they might have continued to think this way.

During this night Mimi and Cynthia got trapped in the building! They also learned an important lesson the hard way.. Spirits did exist, and shouldn't be tampered with. Midori, the batty teenager, did his best to save the two, but unfortunately he only seemed to get in the way. By the end of the night, the due escaped, and Midori's fingers got shut in a window.. also, Mimi had transformed into a more feline looking form.. Obviously there was more to the youngster then her cat ears!

The next night, another silly person got trapped inside of the haunted house.. It was River, no less! Reik and Midori tried to go in this time.. However, the two of them only seemed to get in the way yet again, and needed to be saved as well.

While Midori and Reik were wandering around, Midori got separated from Reik, only to nearly run into him in the hall way of the second floor! Reik was being chased by a goblin. Just before Reik killed the creature, it cursed the due, and turned them into women!

Passing out due to the curse, Mimi and Ryoko ended up having to save not only River, but Reik and Midori as well, such a shame..

By the time this night was over.. Midori had broken his leg, fallen down the stairs, and cracked his head open. Reik came out fine.. But River, she came out in worse condition then Midori sadly.

Chapter Five:
Sirus and Drake Leave, and a Virgin Sacrifice

Well, ever since the events in the haunted house were settled, things could only go down hill after-wards. Reik and Midori still being females, and Reik going into hibernation.. More of the residents decide to leave!

After Sirus and Midori had taken care of a few of the pictures which had been causing trouble in the hall way of the second floor in the hotel, Sirus took his leave.. the picture he saw seemed to be the cause.

Next, once Drake seemed to have gotten back to normal, he took his leave as well. Unlike Sirus who said goodbye to at least Mimi, Drake just left without a word to anyone. A sad day which could only set a trend for times to come.

A while later, Midori had stuck around a while longer, and yet no one had taken care of the wound on his.. Her head, nor his broken leg! A little girl was nice enough to give her a set of make shift crutches at the least.. However, Taryn while decided to give her a hand. At least, before Duellist, a vampire/assassin who had set up his business in the park stepped in.

With promises of healing Midori, and giving her back her male body, lured Midori and Taryn into his lair. Naturally, things could only get worse.. Midori was to be used as a human sacrifice! Duellist's plan was doomed, due to the fact that the love interest for Duellist, Taryn, was there..

Duellist would give Midori the chance to escape after a spirit gave Midori a potion to heal her wounds. Midori wasted no time chugging the potion and running. However, she felt bad for leaving Taryn behind.. However, things between the human and vampire went well.. They fell in love no less!

Not that Midori was jealous, but the teens strange logic came in. How dare that Duellist for just tossing Midori away, as if she were useless! She should have been thankful that she got out alive.. But honestly, one minute Duellist wanted to use her, sacrifice her so he could walk in the sun again.. But then changed his mind..

Continuing with the story.. Once that Midori was free, the moody teen decided she was going to leave as well. Kinpoko, a strange being, and Mimi caught up with Midori before she could leave.

Taking this opportunity, he left Mimi in charge, gave Kinpoko one of the suites, and continued with her business. She left behind no clue where she was going, when she would be back.. Only that she was leaving.

Chapter Six:
A Little More Information on the Residents

Considering there are points in time where all the information cannot be given, or where smaller events cannot be listed, there will be chapters such as these scattered about as time goes on. The purpose to these chapters is to give all the other information which was not included in previous chapters.

From the beginning all the residents have gotten along rather well. No one has gotten into a fight yet, although there were points in time when Drake was set into house wife mode, he would try to step in. Midori's mood swings don't count either, due to the fact that he's just.. Like that.

Were were new residents who weren't previously mentioned properly. This includes Jekyll de Hyde's first shady figure, Duellist. He first entered Jekyll de Hyde during the point in time when Mimi is having a 'migraine; due to a telepath invading her mind.

He spoke with Midori, his reason for being there is because he wanted to open his 'business' inside of the park. A place where one could hire an assassin to take out someone. Midori, with the warped logic the teen had, agreed to have Duellist have his business there no matter the amount of trouble it may cause.

So, once that was out of the way, Duellist quickly took interest in Taryn.. At first, it was mostly because he thought she looked familiar. In the end, the reason he thought he knew her, was in fact because she stole his wallet in the past, and because of that fact she would torture her! However, after the incident in which Midori was almost used as a sacrifice, Duellist would turn Taryn into a vampire with him

With that information aside, another notable event would be the great Kool-aid and seltzer water war! For some reason or another Midori first tried to squirt Mimi with a squirt gun full of Kool-aid, Mimi countered by spraying seltzer water at him. In the end, Midori ended up losing.

Kinpoko is an event in herself. The overly hyper being able to rip away her own arm and regrow it later on. She has been wandering about Jekyll de Hyde taking down notes, and most likely mapping out the building via her arm console, 'Toadie.'

Also, the small cat fights (No pun intended.) between Ryoko and Mimi. It's a confusing situation between the two.. But from what I get, Mimi left her family, or perhaps clan. Her mother and father seemed to either be worried about her, or worried about her giving away secrets. Ryoko, and Mimi's seemingly cruel brother Daisuke have been sent out to look at her. It'll be interesting once events are unfolded completely.

Sirus is a confusing character.. Very little is known about the demon hunter. However, he seems to be haunted by a troubling past.. He broke down after he saw a certain picture in the halls of the hotel. This seemed to be why he left, however he is back yet again.

Drake is the most confusing of the bunch it seems, he even tops Sirus. The businessman, more like mobster, has recently lost his memory it seems, and taken on a more house wife personality. Why I say this? Mostly because he walks around in aprons and treats Mimi and Midori like his children.

Chapter Seven:
All Hell Breaks Loose! Spirits Galore, and New Blood Spilled

Ever since Midori left, the barriers around the haunted area seemed to have weakened, especially around the haunted house. With the help of Duellist's side kick, the wraith Bertram, one spirit escaped. A specter, no less! Also, another demon showed his face at the hotel..

While Cynthia was bathing, a water demon came in on her, and tried to kill her!

As Cynthia ran about, screaming, trying to save her life.. She should have saved the demon work, and given in. She had no chance to escaping sadly, and as soon as the demon caught up with her for a second time in the bathroom, he left her body in a bloody mess.

Sad, honestly.. But it appears that the spirits were beginning to attack the guests! How long before Midori gets back? How long before Sirus steps in to try and save the rest of the residents?

How long until the demons are banished back to Hell!? Find out next time on Jekyll de Hyde!

Chapter Eight
Midori Returns and Bertram's Heart Breaks

Midori has returned finally! With a new weapon no less, but her state remains the same. The once male teenage bat boy still remains in a female form. Unable to find a cure, the bat seems to have gotten used to the female body, despite the fact that she's getting kissed by neary every male she's run into.

However, everyones favorite wraith seems to have developed a crush on her! What was the young female to do? Crush Bertram's heart that's what. Midori would play an oh so cruel joke on the spirit, leading him on, only to crush him. Midori felt good about herself afterwards.. Despite the fact that many of the residents disagreed with what she did. Especially the young spirit, Elly. Even though her twin Teddy thought it was funny.. She threatened to seal the young spirit into a pea jar!

In other news, a new face of Taryn has been shown to Duellist. It has become apparent that the once thought to be innocent female is insane, quite literally. She had developed multi-personalities in her life time. Her darker side has been shown.. Obviously the two personalities are fighting to be Taryn's main persona, with Duellist help the die seems to have been cast! The Taryn we know and love seems to be back to her normal state.

Also, a new demon has made himself known to the people of Jekyll de Hyde. What he wants is unknown. Who he is, for the most part, is unknown. Age.. everything is unknown! Hakan Gorotsuki is what he calls himself, as well as the best warrior in Gaia. He even beat Duellist in a riddle contest, oddly enough. He seems to have a facination with the feline female, Kyaroru Kusinagi, commonly referred to as Mimi. Or maybe is it the fact that he lives to piss people off, and get under peoples skin?

As for the broken hearted wraith, Duellist seems to have gotten Midori back by casting a spell on her which makes her body act the way it should. This results in a very pissed off bat girl.. Was it for the best? And what about Bertram himself? Has he gotten over it? Or is he plotting against Midori?

However, lurking in the shadows.. the spirits are gathering together! Planning.. But for what? Does it have something to do with the fact that it's October? And the Devil's Holiday, Halloween? It's a good thing that, what seems to be the strongest in Gaia, have gathered at Jekyll de Hyde, don't you think?

What is in store for the residents of Jekyll de Hyde?! Find out next time on Jekyll de Hyde: The Cursed Amusement Park!

Chapter Nine
Flashback! To the 30's

Upon a rather depressing night, a night in which everyone could most definetly use something to cheer them up, a beautiful voice was heard! Who did it belong to? Well, Glecia of Blood Dawn, of course!

As the spirit wandered down the stairs of Jekyll de Hyde's hotel, the park around it began to disappear, and one by one.. Spirits came to life! Before you knew it, the park was gone, all but the hotel!

Full of spirits and life from the late 1930's, those who were in the bar at the moment didn't know what was going on. Hakan, who looked rather nice in a black zootsuit adjusted rather well, and naturally goofed around, and flirted with Glecia.

However, it took Mimi a while to adjust, especially with the beautiful dress she wore. However, before you knew it, they were having an exellent time!

The glorious night was doomed to end of course, casting everyone back into depression. Duellist knew it.. He tried to warn the others around, but there was nothing they could do!

Duellist, naturally, seemed to have been around when the events originally unfolded. It hit him after he'd drained the blood of a waitress, and killed off two of the band members!

Only a few more minutes would pass, until one of the furry band members asked Glecia to merry him! She, of course, accepted.. Little did they know a jealous cigerette girl was lurking in the background.. That was the last straw for Rebecca! (Tell me if this is the wrong name.. xd I couldn't remember everything clearly.)

She'd planned to kill Glecia, and the other band members by dropping the lights above the stage upon them. The girl was doomed, her plans would backfire!

The end of the night resulted in the band as well as Glecia and her fiance escaping danger, the Rebecca dying at her own hand, crushed by her own plan.

Naturally depressed, Hakan, Mimi, Taryn.. The night turned back into one of the norm, a slow, boring, gloomy night around Jekyll de Hyde's hotel.. Or had it?

Chapter Ten
The Root of Midori's Problems

Ever since Midori has been transformed into a girl, things seemed to have been bugging her recently. Extra easy to tick off, she also spent most of her time depressed.

However, with the added curse that Bertram had placed upon her sholders. Her body aging, forcing more changes upon her.. She finally snapped. Midori suffered, what seems to be, a nervous break down.

Duellist only proved to make things worse for her, following to her home to argue with her. Midori didn't know it, but many of the people around here had become worried about her.

As the vampiric assassin and the young batgirl argued, her problems were forced to come to the surface. The fact that Midori is so different from everyone else around her bugs her, downright depresses her..

Sure, there's a vampire and a neko. But in Gaia, how many people are actually made from science? A freak of nature? Midori, that's how many. Duellist, nor anyone around her has offered much comfort.. how long before Midori breaks again?

Chapter Eleven
Mirror, Mirror On the Wall! Tell Me Who is the Evillist of All!

One night, Cynthia's ghost made herself known to Jekyll de Hyde, leaving behind a message to the residents warning them, warning them about something.. What exactly hasn't been figured out just yet but it obviously has something to do with Zane, owner of Blood Dawn.

After the message was left, Mimi and Hakan returned from checking up on Midori, only to see Zane standing nude in the middle of the bar with a scrub brush and a rubber ducky. ..A disturbing image indeed.

The trio argued for few minutes, and Zane had tried to erase what was written on the mirror making the message harder to read. Eventually, Hakan told Zane that if he didn't leave soon, Hakan would kill him. The demon ran the first chance he got, taking the rubber ducky with him.

Hakan and Mimi sat around trying to translate the message on the mirror, and with the help of a ghost, they eventually ended up with something about a 'mesrobot.' The confused teenagers simply shook their head, and gave up for the moment.

By the end of the night, Mimi had let Hakan borrow her room. Naturally confused, the teenager blushed thinking the two were sleeping together. Little did her know, things would end up much differently, and with Mimi sleeping with her sister.

Hakan felt a little foolish, indeed. But with a bed to snooze in for once, and a place to shower, he wasn't going to complain.

Chapter Twelve
Lady and the Tramp

Even since Hakan had gotten to Jekyll de Hyde, he has seemed to be facinated with the resident monster magnet, Mimi. Although he had a strange way of showing it on many occasions, he'd infact developed a crush on her, love at first sight if you will.

Mimi, unfortunetly, never realized Hakan's feelings. It would eventually drive the teenage demon to do something he never thought he would do. He would offer to take Mimi away from the boring, and rather gloomy bar to explore outside Jekyll de Hyde.

Little did she know, he had other plans. Once they had gotten outside, he realized that it was rather late, or early in the morning. It proved to foil his plans a little bit, however it still gave him the chance to confess.

And so, after suggesting that they should instead go to sleep, Mimi would seem to travel into deep thought. He took the feline while she was off guard!

In a blur, he would zip beside her, and wrap his arms neatly around her waist, despite the fact that he was quite a bit taller then she was. From there, Hakan would whisper words which Mimi would never forget!

"Taisetsu na, hito dakara zutto, kawaranai de waratteite. Daisuki na, hito dakara zutto kimi dake o dakishimete..."
"You're my precious, so forever, always, smile. You're my beloved, so I will always hold only you..."

He would leave the girl from that point, alone and confused. He shouldn't have, but he too was a little confused, nervous.. Maybe even a little scared.

Mimi herself couldn't help but shout at him as soon as she regained her composure seconds after. It was a new twist of events inside of Jekyll de Hyde, but were they welcomed?

Chapter Thirteen
Darkness is my Spiral Mind

Sure, it had been 'fun' over the past few days, at least a little calm. However, it was doomed to end. Happiness can't last very long inside of Jekyll de Hyde after all!

Over the past few days, an evil specter had shown up. It was aweful, he was leaving dead bodies left and right! He had to be stopped, and stopped now damnit!

And so, Rei-kun the youngest demon hunter in the land, and the older Sirus set out to put together a team of people who could put down the evil spirit.

Little did the group know, there was an evil soul amongst them. They didn't know, they hadn't known ever since the evil being had been with them! They didn't find out until it was too late..

Whilst the team was hiding, awaiting the specter to show, Rei-kun turned his back on them! His true target, his main objective was Sirus, and to kill him! Rei-kun succeeded, rather easily might I add.

Shoving a dagger into Sirus' back, he left the eldest demon hunter to bleed to death. Leaving Sirus on is stomach bleeding, regreting.. Rei-kun charged forth to attack Bertram! (Note the party was made up of: Midori, Duellist, Bertram, Sirus, and Rei-kun.)

Duellist would never let anything happen to his side-kick wraith Bertie. And so, Duellist attacked Rei-kun, succeeded in killing him! Unfortunetly, before they could regather their forces and hope to help Sirus, the original targer showed his face.

The glowing red specter would float down from the sky, just as Mimi, Hakan, and Taryn showed up, as well as Tony and the two children ghosts, Teddy and Elly.

Mimi, naturally worried about Sirus who lay unconscious, first made her way to him. Just as she had feared, he was dead. Or was he? No, he really wasn't, but how was she to know?

Hakan had gotten his wish! With the death of his rival, and enemy, the demon would next approach the specter with an sinister grin on his face. Finally, the young demon got to test out his powers!

The spirit would take notice of the rushing demon, and swing his blade up, only for Hakan to leap and dodge. While in the air, Hakan would preform an elegant front flip, and strike down with his heel hoping to make contact with the spirits shoulder.

Normally, this wouldn't have done a single thing. However, the fact that Hakan had charged his fists and feet with spiritual energy (Even if it was dark.) would ensure that he would do damage to the spirit. And that he did, his foot ripping through the ghost like a holy blade.

However, his attack left him open to one from the specter, the spirit took advantage of Hakan's defensless position. Grabbing Hakan by the ankle, he would use the paralyzed body (Because he'd paralyzed Hakan with a single touch!) as a shield against any other attacks.

If not for Mimi knocking Duellist down and erasing his concentration, Hakan would have been hit with a fully charged spell, and would have more then likely died.

By the end of the battle, Sirus had truly died at the hands of the specter. He went down the honor of course! He'd charged the spirit to give Midori, Elly, Teddy, and bertram enough time to chant a spell, and seal away the specter inside of a booze bottle.

It was an aweful night, however.. With blood spilt, things just may get better.

Chapter Fourteen
Information on Rei-kun, as well as other happenings around Jekyll de Hyde

Rei-kun, a troubled little boy who'd shown up at Jekyll de Hyde. One should have guessed that he was up to no good! He knew Sirus after all, and he was the youngest demon hunter in exsistance.

However, no one seemed to pay attention, no one had a clue, no one seemed to care.. Maybe it was about everyone was so wrapped up in their own problems, who knew?!

However, Rei-kun was up to no good from day one. At the end of his stay, Rei-kun and taken revenge on Sirus for killing his parents, and died shortly afterwards at Duellist's hand. Maybe if someone knew, maybe if someone tried to help.. Two sensless deaths could have been unavoidable.

However, it's far too late now. C'est la vie.

As far as other news goes, Mimi had a little run in, and was almost killed (as usual!) by Tony, who seems to be Reik's right hand man. It was a fight over a hat! A hat which Mimi had to give to Reik, and yet Tony, the alp, wanted the hat for hiself!

It was a confusing mess, but eventually Reik ended up with the hat, and then it was given to Tony for.. Reasons unknown! It was confusing, it was something which could only be experienced at Jekyll de Hyde!

Excluding Sirus and Hakan, all the residents have gotten along well. Especially recently! Especially Taryn and Duellst, especially Hakan and Midori! Can we spell love in the air here? Maybe?

Well, it's a welcomed change from the events which have recently taken place, and despite the losses which were experienced, everyone seems to be happy enough.

A few new residents seem to have made their way nto the scene! Who they are is for the most unknown, but new faces are always welcomed!

The Duellist gang seems to have recently discovered some sort of underground treasure box which seems to be full of beasts! All the details are currently unknown, but stay tuned to find out more!

And on the final piece of business, Midori again has taken his.. her.. It's leave. Even since the battle with Rei-kun and and specter Midori had been disturbed. Maybe it was the fact that she no longer had the power to keel the demons sealed away? Needless to say, the bat girl has taken off to visit the churches of Gambino and the temples in the mountains of Durem to highten her spiritual powers, no matter how dark her soul currently seems.

Very well, lucky Bertram has been able to move on passed his Midori fixation, and has set on his sights on the local medium, Ikue Uehara!
