It's the Pokemon series manga! The english version is called 'Pokemon Adventures' but only up to volume 7 was translated Here are the characters:  Red  Green  Blue  Crystal  Emerald  Gold  Ruby  Sapphire Discuss here about the manga, and your opinions on it. heart

In the US version, they had Green be Blue and Blue be green... prolly on account of their outfit colours didn't match their names... but in one volume (I can't recall which one), if you look at some sort of list where Red and Green are listed, you'll see it's right, but they still call Green Blue. Boy, that sounds confusing... xd I think they made the name change b/c in the US, Blue and Red were released, but Green never was. While in Japan, it was Red and Green, then Blue then Yellow. *shrugs* Who knows, with these lousy translators for the gn's... stare

that was the reason. but actaully, Viz is puttin out the correct manga! the names are still different though...but ah well heart

I'm from england i never knew that was their manga names XD
well in england i can tell you there non manga names although you will probably know
ash,gary,misty,brock,max,may/amy,jesse,james,giovanni,
uhm that's all i know of now

Yeah that's the names that they use in the anime. Actaully, Giovani and them aren't even in those characters. The first person is 'Ash' though, then 'Gary' It's easy to tell whos supposed to be who.
The manga was released here in the US-I hope they release it all!
Pokemon has become really popular lately again heart

Yeah I love it to. There's now 22-23 volumes out in japan eek i want them!!! and i'm a huge green/red fan (in the japanese version gree=blue, blue=green. for us americans, based off the cartoon I'm a GASH fan ^_^)

zimfanatic you know thats not the original original cast right? Of the manga it is. It's different than the anime-that's why they're not names 'Ash', 'Gary' etc
