I'm starting high school tomorrow. I'm really excited to see everybody again but I'm kinda bummed out that I don't have a /lot/ of classes with my good friends.
GAHD. I'll probably get hela lost too. I have classes on 3 different floors, plus "American Music Theater" in another nearby building too so I'll be running all over the place. So confusing...
'sides, I don't want to piss off the seniors yaknow. neutral rolleyes
Any advice? ;O
On a side note, my dad ordered me a $1000 laptop for high school and its arriving on thursday. =] Yessss~<3

I'm trying to persude my parents to let me have internet on it but my mom's afraid I'll go blind. lol

I started school today.
08 ON FIYUHH. That was our battle cry in Homecoming :Sweat:
GEEBUS. My school is overcrowded. There is now a SEA of FRESHMEN everywhere. D<
I got advice.
1. Make the seniors scared of you. Worked for me. cool

Started school on monday :0
i'm a soph. wuz a frosh. last year.
Ha ha ha...
um
we have 3 floors to our school and a mini street cutting across it, so my chem class is in anotehr building.
I have to try to figure out when the best times to get my books are, because my locker is in the middle of nowhere Dx
man, you are lucky. my parents won't get me a laptop because... uh... internet... yeah.

Started school yesterday. But since I'm paying for my own first-class flight, my parents say I can miss the first week of school (First 3 days are stupid meet 'n' greet with the teachers, ******** that rofl )
You guys switch classmates? We have the same classmates since we started high school.
I took Sportive profile, we have profiles in our school and I wanted to take writing, but they were filled crying
So, now I'm trapped with the really good runners and jumpy people. I'm going to get trampled X_X;

School starts next Tuesday for me xd my school is basically 4 floors of academic heaven rofl it's such a pain getting to the 4th (where all the science labs and math rooms are) because there are 4 main stairways... but only 2 can actually get you to the 4th XD and I have a feeling my locker is somewhere up there xp
The first day for my school is really just a joke, pick of schedules for each Day1/Day2 then we go to our Day1 classes for like 30mins each, then we go home at around lunchtime cool OH and we used to have late-starts on Wednesdays, where we dont have to come into school 'till like 10am (normally 8:40am) untill our principal got bitchy and stopped it xD
I feel old since you're just starting High School xd

hahahaha at the internet thing. And well on the first day just get familiar with everything and then after that just make it something that you can do in your sleep. Plus running around everywhere is a good workout. ;******** the seniors. neutral

Well, I'm sure that you'll do fine. I haven't the slightest clue what to tell you because I am still going into 8th grade D:
And, I bet your taller then me too! I'm like 4"9 or 8 or something! I'm going to be a midget when I get to highschool D:

I want a laptop tooooooo! D:
Advice? Emm... try avoiding the crowded halls as much as possible. Bring all your stuff for the next two to three classes 'cause you probably won't have enough time to make it to your locker and to your next class between classes. <3

We don't have the same classmates for every class in every year. Science and math are mixes at my school, all depends on what you sign up for or need. 9th grade, Algebra 2.. all juniors and sophomores. ><
One time though.. my friend and I had matching schedules. Saw her in every class for a year.
Seniors at my school are so friendly. But I'm not a freshman. But when I was, they were still nice. Course my brother was a senior at the time and he told horror stories about me.
I got my first laptop when I was 10. cool
Currently on my second one.. both had internet.
Got a computer too.
Don't break your laptop.
My brother broke the screen on his laptop. Luckily he got repairs for free because of the warranty.
My school was built in 2003. (There's pictures and a photo album of my school buildings online) Currently building a new building.
No cemented social stereotypes/indentify-able cliques or whatever. It's like a whole mesh of things right now.
So we have.. A, B, C, D, E, F, and G, and now with the new building, a total of 8. And we have portables in another section. We don't have hallways or a lot of shelter to walk to the other buildings. Sucks on rainy days I run all over the place for my classes; it's exercise for me since I don't have PE anymore.
B (zero period), A, F, break. B, B, lunch. Portables.
Then I go home because I don't have a 6th period.
But yes. Avoid crowded halls. Detours are a lot faster.

claira, its probably better you don't have all of yoru classes with your super close friends. that way you guys wont be clinging to each other and you will get to meet lots of new people! ; )

Honestly. I do. xD I'm exhausted right now haha.
I remember going to the wrong Spanish class which were full of sophmores and thinking, "wtf am I doing here?" Haha.
But I swear, guys. High school is the bomb. heart
I'm enjoying most of the classes so far, especially Health/Identity Society and Biology.
I'm not so into Geometry as of right now~`>>;; Maybe that has to do with a certain someone being in my class who stabbed me in the back and seems to enjoy a**-kissing up to everyone. Jeez, that girls sags her jeans- Dude, I don't wanna see your nasty underwear. xp
The seniors are extremely nice biggrin ...so far.
