i think, that yes, abortion is very bad and should not be done at all. if you don't want a baby, make him where a condom, or don't have sex, or....whatever.
but if a woman with an unwanted pregnancy DIDN'T have an abortion, the baby could be abandoned at birth. like how you see those small babies dead in the road, thats what happens. which is much more cruel. if the baby IS born and abandoned, the pain is far worse then the pain of being killed by abortion.

Still don't agree with it hun, sorry. But thats called "playing on emotions." You are also using a potential. If we can't use potential goods, then its just as wrong for oyu to use a potential bad.

amount of children waiting in adoption homes.

Currently, the chances of a child under one not getting adopted are about 3%

Why she thinks it shouldn't go to an adoption agency and instead a dumpster is beyond me... If the baby is a newborn, better yet if there were plans to put it in an agency and get it acquainted with families before birith the best it's chances are.

As you can see, while many people will say that kids in the agency aren't being adopted, the biggest percentages by far are those above one year. Whereas the newborns have a 3% chance of not getting adopted. If a woman's putting her child straight into adoption because she can't care for it, it would obviously be a newborn, yes?

i think you're using that chart wrong... i think that means that 3% of the children in an adoption center are 1 year or less. that's not how many aren't adopted, but that is the percentage of 1 year olds in the adoption system.

The'd have to be still in the system if they weren't adopted. Also I know that it meant 3% are <1 year.

hm?

no, that's talking about the ages of people in adoption systems. like 3% of them are <1 year, while 35% off them are between 6 and 10. it has nothing to do with how many are adopted from each age group.

The whole things confusing, but seraph's right: The percentage of the people in a system at whatever age is in no way related to how many people at that age are in the system. Like, there could be 3% of newborns in the adoption system (I know that it's not just newborns but this is just an example), but that doesn't mean that only 3% of all newborns placed into the system are not adopted.

For instance. Say there are 100 people in an adoption center, and 3 of them are <1. That doesn't mean that, if 200 newborns are put into that system, all but 6 will be adopted.

Bolded for emphasis. It's still illegal, and very few women with unwanted pregnancies who don't have abortions actually do that.

People arn't legally allowed to abandoned the baby, many get caught and are pushined (jail time). That's why they created adoption. Some places like hopsitals and fire stations would allow you to drop of the baby there with no questions asked (Not all places but many places allow that so they can keep it safe and try to find a place for it).

I know many non-white, not always healthy, non-new borns that were adopted and most of them are happy (some arn't but that had nothing to do with the adoption). Even they don't get adopt at least they get a chance and say in life so why not give it a try?
