Nickolas watched as the sky grew steadily darker. Overheard he could hear the muffled voices and footsteps of many students, who had come to watch the closing festivals. He surveyed the arsenal of fireworks that had come into his possession, and grinned like a maniac.

He waited for several more moments, the sky was now an inky black. He tapped the side of his face, causing his voice to become magnified. It was if he were speaking into a microphone.

"Welcome everyone to the final event of this years Sakura Festival! Did you all have a good time?" He could hear cheering and yelling, and after pausing for a few minutes to let the fame sink in he continued on. "We're going to get started with the fireworks! So You all enjoy the show ok?"

He pulled out the first firework at random, the box showed a picture of a large purple flower. He lit it up, stepped back, and watched it zoom into the sky.

With a boom to shake the world the firework exploded some 100 feet up into the air into a huge blooming purple flower. The petals sparkled in the night sky for several minutes before fading away. Again he could hear shouting from the crowd above.

For the next several moments, Nickolas lit off many fireworks, though none as spectculiar as the first. There were reds, greens, oranges, blues, and yellows. They exploded in the sky, causing the entire world to become a spectrum of colors.

Rayne pauses near the hill as the sky suddenly comes alive with fireworks, bright flashes of reds and greens going off in the dark blue sky. For a moment, she looks confused, then, as she remembers the festival going on right now, smiles slightly. She had forgotten all about the festival during her summer vacation. Lucky thing she'd gotten back in time to see the fireworks though, probably one of the few things she loved about summer time. Rayne glances around, then walks up the hill and sits down on the grass, dropping her backpack behind her as she quietly settles down and looks up at the night sky.

Ryuu's ears popped up as he heard somebody crying nearby. He crawled nearby to see a girl younger than him crying. He stood up and walked near her and said, "Are you ok?" Tears were pouring down her eyes as he wondered what would be wrong for a big occasion like this one. He wondered what should do. He sat down next to her and asked, "Please. What's wrong?" He didn't want anybody sad for this day.

He smiled as Rosa started to feel a little bit better. He then said, "My name is Ryuu Oda! Nice to meet you!" He sat down near her and said, "If your sad about something, try to forget about it! If it is still etched into your mind, you have to still try!" He smiled a grim smile but a friendly one at the same time saying, "I first lost my family when i was really young after getting 'adopted' by an organiztion. Then an enemy organization burned the new place i just settled into. Then i wondered here!" He asked, "You said that you know a few people here? Who?" He wanted to know so he can maybe make even more friends.

Sukai was proud of herself having at least one 2nd best in the contest she had a pretty small smile displayed on her face. It was enough to say that she was pleased about her victory. Either way it didn't matter, taking a seat on the hill she looked up at the the wonderful display of fireworks that were set off in celebration of the end of the festival. Truly this year's festival must have been a success since a lot of people were enjoying everything that had happened. Too bad she had decided to sleep through a little more than half of it.

All she could really do was sit back and listen to her music quietly hoping maybe someone would take a seat next to her and enjoy the show.

"Nice to meet you Ryuu." Rosa did a small bow and looked up at him and giggled. Next she looked at her watch. "Oh no," "I have to meet with daisuke and the organization soon..but i don't want to talk to them..I don't want to leave her..yet,"she thought.

Rosa listened closely to what the boy had to say. Rosa could tell he had a sad life at one time but..he is doing pretty good for himself. "Thanks for the edvice...your really kind. Adn I'm glad you rgoing so good after all that you went through."
Then rosa got alittle shocked when he brought up who she knew. That was what she actually was trying to forget. "Oh. Um....I just know my lil sis Risa, my boyfrie---sorry my childhood friend daisuke, and some of Risa's friend..." When Rosa said this you could tell that she didn't enjoy it.


Later Rosa looked at her watch and saw that she was late for the meeting. "Sorry Ryuu but I'm late for something..it was nice meeting you! Mayeb we can hangout later! I'm at the hotsprings and training hall alot. See ya! and thank you!" Then Rosa ran away.

It had been a beautiful festival and now it was coming to a close. Wendy was kind of glad for it though since all those carneys were really starting to piss her off. Wendy walked along to the fireworks show with a blanket strewn over her shoulder and a picnic basket in hand. She was going to enjoy the show, and a meal.

The light of day had all but faded away and people had already begun to gather upon the hill. Wendy chose a nice spot two thirds up on the hill and shook out her blanket spreading it out onto the ground. She crawled around pulling all the corners straight and smoothing the whole thing out. Wendy lifted her pigtailed head and looked around at the groups of people settling in together. She made a face as she saw young couples snuggling on up together. Ugh, boys were gross, she couldn't imagine going all starry-eyed over some dumb boy like some of her schoolmates.

Wendy settled in, making herself comfy and reached into her picnic basket. She'd packed a few treats, nothing too special, just a’lil something to tide her over. She pulled out a rather large rice crispy treat, picking it a part and nibbling on individual rice cereal puffs. She lay back on the blanket, staring up at the dark sky. A bright purple streak came across the sky and burst into a flower. "WEEE..." Wendy said as the light from the fireworks reflected back into her wide eyes.
