I don't know what I really want to play as... my current levels are:
Warrior 1
Monk 1
Thief 8
Whitemage 20
Blackmage 5
Redmage 21
At the moment I'm playing RDM/WHM... but I think I want to switch back to WHM... after the availability of advanced jobs I run into more problems... I might be a Bard, Summoner, or Beastmaster... probably the last because of their cool AF and cause I hate partying...

do what i did...get all the adv jobs...fiddle in a lil of each. then go with what you like best!
my first char i finnaly decided to settle on going war all the way.
my second if smn falls through ill just take whm all the way.
my third i think i might go drg if she ever gets that far.
those are the jobs i like the best ^^

Either post here or PM me and I can help you out biggrin What do you mean by "endgame," and in parties I would like to function as a healer/enfeebler/buffer... Endgame as in the higher levels - 70+ when you will be fighting HNM and doing the major missions. If you want to be a healer/enfeebler/buffer I would suggest RDM/WHM. RDM are masters of enfeebling, and they keep the mana of the party up with a spell called 'refresh' (regenerates mp over time). You should also keep Bard and Blackmage up to date for subs if you need them. Only sub Bard if you can pull this combo off, otherwise stick with a mage sub.

personaly, i would do RDM, but that is because I dont like casting a whole lot. but, evry party needs a WHM, so youd get alot of invites.

Well just going by your lvls you have the choice of summener and beastmaster cause they work well with white mage and red mage sub jobs, but ultimatly the chioce is up to you. I am lvling my red mage to 20 right now and when i get her to 30 im going for samuri/ninja and then moving to a dragoon/samuri so like i said the chioce is all yours.

Yushiaroh personaly, i would do RDM, but that is because I dont like casting a whole lot. but, evry party needs a WHM, so youd get alot of invites. What?! Have you ever played rdm past level 10? Rdm cast the most, they are the busyest jobs.

after 40 rdm can be pretty busy because most parties want the rdm to refresh, convert, and refresh some more lol... anyways if you want to beastmaster is ok if u dont like partying.... i am still at that stage not knowing what exactly to do.... i pop from going to blm to whm to smn to dragoon beastmaster and all over again lol so your not the only one
