OK, I have a story that I use frequently in my pro-choice arguments.
When my mom was a young girl, she had a friend with an older sister in her late teen years. They all would hang out together, so she knew the older sister pretty well. I can't rememer the exact name of said older sister, so I'll call her "Jane" to make it easier.
One day, Jane realized she was pregnant. She told her boyfriend and he dumped her and left town. At the time abortion was illegal, so she was now stuck with a father-less baby on the way, no job, and still in school. At first she tried to figure out a way to deal with it, but she knew she was going to end up on welfare and never finish school. Eventually she decided to get an illegal abortion.
She went to a shady building on the far side of town where she met a medical student who was willing to abort her for a price. She was drugged and aborted. At first she felt considerably normal, but after a few days she started having horrible stomach pains. She was vomiting constantly and bleeding out of her v****a. She became extremely sick and once her mother realized it, she rushed Jane ot the hospital. They were able to repair most of the damage and heal her back to health, but now she can never have children. She came very close to dying just for an abortion.
If abortion were to be outlawed, there would be more cases like this without a doubt. Just another reason to keep it legal.

Wow. Ugh. Now...anti-choicers talk about fictional, unrealistic stories and say that one has to feel for the baby or be heartless. This is a case where one truly has to feel for the woman...

petit_diable Wow. Ugh. Now...anti-choicers talk about fictional, unrealistic stories and say that one has to feel for the baby or be heartless. This is a case where one truly has to feel for the woman... Yeah, I was stunned when my mom told me the story.

Oh, but then they'll just cry, "If you don't want to die from an illegal abortion, don't have one! lolz!"
But for some reason, they're not satisfied with "Don't like abortion? Don't have one." Seems the rules don't apply to them.

Unfortunately pro-lifers would probably say it was all her fault anyway.

It makes me sad, but they simply can't seem to grasp that abortions will happen whether they are legal or not, and countless women will die because of it. If they're so pro-life, why don't they want to prevent this?

Especially when those actual human beings are sluts who can't keep a man - who, though also a participant in the impregnation - is not at all at fault (nor in any way unacceptably promiscuous as to be considered a slut), since of course a man can't help but to have sex, and well that's her fault if she let herself get pregnant.

And of course, it doesn't matter if the darling slut (who shouldn't have given into pressure, even though the man (who is, of course, perfectly respectable) was getting violent) dies, as long as that clump of cells survive. That little slut obviously deserved it.

Just goes to show that humens are sometimes stubbern in the wrong situation's... sad Mostly since the teenage/older rape victams may have to deal with an unwanted kid and then that ruins their future. Pro-lifers dont care about that...and that's why the U.S is slowly dying. more people are having their futures ruined because some Male/Female wasnt thinking nor caring what happened.
