I see more evidance supporting there being a romantic relationship between Cloud&Aeris (not Aries). I do think he loved Tifa but in a brother/sister way.

Tifa maybe just looked up to cloud as a big brother.I think cloud liked Aeris more than tifa.I cant see tifa and cloud together. eek

I think he prefered Aeris, in my personal opinion. That's what I took it as anyway. I didn't see a real relationship even happening between him and Tifa though.

I think he liked Tifa as a close friend/sister, but for a relationship (had she NOT died, thank you very much Sephiroth stressed ) he would have chosen Aeris.

Like Amylin had said (and explained quite well in a previous thread) before, Aeris and Cloud are more likely to have gotten together. This does not entirely rule out Tifa, but Cloud and Tifa had a more platonic relationship with one another. Cloud may have adored her as a child, but things changed when they grew up. Tifa doesn't seem to love him as much as she seems to worry about him. Cloud probably wouldn't have ever gotten with Yuffie, mostly because of how both of their personalities seem to clash. I've got nothing against CloudxYuffie fans out there, but the two just don't click in the game. He's too much of a smart aleck to her anyways.
