This is the beginning of the monthly guild contest!
I have decided that I'm hosting an av contest with votes from our guild members to decide who the winner is.
I would like at least 5 people to start with, but if we get 10 or more that would be great!
However if we get more than 10 we'll have to do rounds of voting.
So for our winner there will be a prize of art from our captain and/or crew.
You can view the captain's artwork in the art section and the mini shops.
If the winner would like art from the captain's mini shop instead of a drawing of the winners av
then she is more than willing to do the substitution.
There is also the possiblity of runner's up and the giving away of free items and possibly gold from time to time.

The entry fee is 50g.
Please send the fee to Liquid Poetry, we now have a guild mule to arrange such events.
If you have any comments or suggestions about the contest please feel free to post them here. We'll listen!

undertaker moon master I'm kind to the people that deserve it. Me too. I like to draw people that are my friends, people that I talk to that aren't neccessarily my friends, but take the time out to talk with me and other kind things like that. I just don't like it when people repeatively ask me for things. I hate to be mean to people, but when I feel its neccassary I do it.

Kuriositty, I was trying to draw your avatar, but I just didn't understand what you were wearing. I hate these dodgy gaia items. I tend to draw people that are dressed normal.
Besides, I thought that giving crappy avi art to someone who can really draw isn't a wise thing to do.

Well you could start with a direct thumbnail sketch from the avatar you want to draw, then start expanding it's size/detail and fix it's proportions until it become a worthy avatar art.
