Dune mini series that aired on the Sci-Fi Channel. Has anyone ever seen it?
I have been re-watching it recently and it is excellent. I love the design of everything and they made the sheilds look good. I laughed alot seeing House Harkonnen looking like samuari. Not those big blocks like in the Lynch film. I did however like the still-suits much better in the Lynch film. The mini series is more true to the book.

Let me find a pick. They look like samurai. Even Vlad is wearing japanese looking clothing.

I agree. It also looks a bit different then the final making for the movie.

I've seen it a few hundred times actually. emo
I watch them every time i get more then a week off of school. Expect for spring break 2 years ago because my friend had them and did not give them back in time. crying

Lol, I downloaded them and then eventually recieved the extended directors cut edition from a friend. I was going to buy it myself, but he saved me the trouble.

I loved the miniseries. Both Dune and Children of Dune. It was so much truer to the book then David Lynch's movie.

I haven't seen them actually. In fact I got no cable and these past years I have NO time for tv. Except for movies but those ones you can watch whenever you want....tv is timed..
