Note: All human classes are based off the people of Humain's Guard, I'll update later.

Classes

Human:

Solder: A Solder is a human who trains they're body in streingth, duribiblity, and weapon proficantcy, threw this training a solder almost completely looses the ability to use magic but gains extraordinary streingth, duribility and agility. Solders lack any non-inherent special abilities and use various weapons and technices from their fighting style to take down stronge foes. The Standerd equipment of a Solder is a sword, sheild and knife, each varies greatly from person to person and can be anything from a a longsword, buckler and dagger to a kodachi, steel roundsheild and cheif's knife.

Archer: An Archer is a human who trains their body for flexibility, speed and ranged weapon proficiency as a result they retain some spirit abilities however loose a lot of pain tolerance, forcing them to fight from a distance. They most commonly use spirit to increase speed or agility but can however heal a little and enhance arrows with dormant magic within. There are many types of bows an Archer can use, however the most common one in Humain's guard is a longbow.

Mage: A Mage is a human who trains themselves in spiritual arts and studies the spirit extensively. Thanks to this special training they are able to transfer large amounts of spirit outside the body. Although they aren't trained in physical combat as much as soldiers but can use close range weapons, usually performing staves and martial arts. However Mages truly shine in magic, the art of filtering spirit threw runes to get a desired effect.

Artisan: An Artisan is a rare breed indeed. Artisans are named so because they can only focus their spirit threw certain objects, often specializing in raw metals. Because they?re ability they can heat, shape and cool the metal into the finest quality weapons known to man. Artisans rarely enter battles however they(and only they) can use rare weapons known as artifacts for devastating effects. Artisans can only be trained by retiring artisans which contributes to their rarity.(Please ask before playing an artisan)

Spirit Types

Vampire:

Blade-Souls- These vampire are the top melee fighters, this is acknowledged threw out the world. The bones, skin and sometimes even blood vessels in the arms of their host become as hard a steel, but retain their ability to move. These vampires have no spiritual abilities however are fighters beyond that of humans and acrobats beyond that of Draks. Most Blade-Soul's are mindless and kept in cages until released on the enemy, although a blade-soul lieutenants is a rare and dangerous thing. Blade-souls hands are too callused to drain spirit with, so unlike most other vampires they use appendaged found near their teeth. To drain and enemy the bite down securely(It's also A LOT more painful then how other vampires drain their enemies)

Jell-Hearts- These vampires are unstoppable and almost invincible. Rather then how most organisms are composed, Jells are composed of an amorphous pudey-like matter, this means that a sword can go threw most of their body and they'll be completely unharmed. Their heads are almost useless except for the ganglion that controls spirit flow, if this is destroyed the Jell will quickly die, most of their sensory nerves are in they?re legs, these are solid and if damaged will cause much pain to the Jell. These vampires have no spiritual attacks, and due to their composition even their draining abilities are just annoying they're unable to damage their enemies physically however they are quite good at stopping enemies from getting past them, and blocking from other vampires. Oddly, Jells are pacifist and will never kill they're enemies(but have no problem with another vampire doing it), so there's never been nor will be a Bloodthirst Jell. They are also quite slow-minded and are poor fighters so they never become lieutenant, all Jells are Minions.

Corpse-Lurkers- These vampires, unlike others, first live in a drained living host then leave it to take control of a dead one. Because of this they are priceless spies and assassins. Furthermore, they are not as closely tied to their bodies and can injure and enhance them without fear of death, there is a downside to this though, their fighting and spirit abilities are lessened. If their second body is destroyed then the Lurker will simply return to their first body, but this means if their first body is destroyed then the Lurker will truly die. A Bloodthirst Lurker cannot take control of a corpse however they can ascend to a minion and then take control, minion lurkers a fairly common often used for minor assassinations and recon. Lieutenants Lurkers are rare to see (or know if your seeing one), but make up a good amount of the Vampire Lieutenants. Even when not occupying a corpse, Lieutenant Lurkers have a natural have the ability to push their spirt of out their body, when occupying a corpse however they can filter their spirits threw the corpse like a human mage uses a rune, in other words a lurker lieutenant can use almost any spell imaginable but at drastically shorted range.

Humain's Guard

Humain's guard lies in the approximate center of the plains and is the capital of most Humans. The Guard was founded by and named after the great Humay, the hero who the entire race was named after. The Guard started out as a small village made of grass huts but grew quickly as neighboring villages learned of Humay because of this the Guard is incredibly disorganized and in certain places houses are even built over each other.

Humay passed away a couple years ago and there was a short struggle between his two oldest sons: Dew and Arrow. Dew eventually won and Arrow was forbid from returning to the city. Humay was considered the village elder but never really acted as such, he made no laws or decrees but when he said something people listened. Dew on the other hand rules his people more directly, most his decrees are based on telling people how to act. No one has yet ti be put in jail for disobeying the laws however those who listen to Dew are often rewarded with bribes and the rank of noble, which guarantees a better place to live and general respect. Elder Dew is a ruler you can't help but think is up to something but so far his rule has been pretty prosperous.

The Guard is known for it's Military Barracks and it's well trained army. The Barracks sticks out because it is one of the few stone structures in the town and is the largest structure next to Castle Dewmain. The training for troops consists entirely of strength and endurance training, it's hard to imagine a good mage or archer being trained in these conditions. The "archers" trained, often called bowmen, have no magical adeptness and are essentially soldiers that use bow. However the main focus in the barracks is to train sword bearing solders, for a young person entering the barracks and becoming a solder in the guard is probably one of the best choices you can make, the job pays well and putts you at a social status just bellow a noble without being told how to act.

The Guard has no police force, so all legal disputes are settled at the coliseum. The Coliseum is a box shaped "building" consisting of four large permeant bleachers separated from a stage area by large steel fences. Whenever there's a dispute that can't be settled on spot either the two clients or their champions enter the coliseum. A special unit of the army, called the Colossus guard is in charge of making sure both competitors show, they are trained in the use of special chains to capture enemies from a distance. The Colossus also judge matches and a responsible for stopping fights before someone is too badly injured or killed. The colosseum is a magor source of entertainment and takes official bets.

Formerly Humain's Castle, Manor Dewmain lies in the center of town and is the largest structure in the city. According to Dew the castle was beginning to get old and was becoming unsafe, it was torn down and replaced by by a manor, model in a completely new style(similar to our Victorian style) Dewmain had invented himself, a lot of the elderly did and still do look down on this event as Dew just trying to make people forget his father. The Manor is the largest building in the city, but few know what's inside, it's a rare thing to be invited inside. (Note: Dew has a thing for wood while his father preferred stone. People who look down upon Dew and say things like "If only his father were around..." are sometimes called Stonies while supporters of Dew are sometimes called Woodrows)

The town is dived into three sections; just east of Castle Dewmain is the Nobel's village. This is a part of town that Dew has cleared and reserved just for nobles, many criticized it at the time but now it seems to have slipped people's minds. The houses in this district are a little more complicated then the others, they're small two story houses composed of wood rather then grass huts. To the west of the castle is what's known as the "Warrior's District", it contains the barracks, arena, and various shops tailored towards Solders and Bowmen. To the north of the Warrior's District is the Merchant's District with more general stores like clothing and food. The rest of the town(a rough 60%) is full of small closely packed huts in which commoners live. The huts are most densely packed by the eastern wall and the Merchant's district.

You could try Vieras. They're an all-female race with humanoid bodies. Their bodies are covered in light brown fur and they have bunny ears! Tee hee! So kawaii! Neway, they're highly skilled in magical and summoning arts and have great agilty, but aren't too strong physically. They also have a higher intelligence than most humans.

That's a pretty superficial race, it seems like Human Archers to me.

Must make it hard to re-produce.

Back on subject I always enjoy Lizardfolk or bangaa types in RPs. High physical strength and just above average speed (they're lizards dammit, next person that calls them slow dies!) could be balanced by an overly agressive or passive atitude. Or maybe an unpredictable spirit could cause them problems when casting spells.

That's a good idea, there's a gynormous rainforest to the south, and a desert to the east, I can easily see lizard-folk as one of the larger minorities. I'll add them in the beastistry once I put it up. Sounds like a race I can rap my rage around too, slow? I hate when people simplify sutff like ectothermia stressed .

Allanant's Reccords of Things to Inquire About

Arrow's Guard: Arrow's Guard is a village supposably hidden in a forest on the Humain Planes. After Humain's death his two sons fought over who would rule the kingdom, Dewmain eventually won and his younger brother, Arrow, was exiled. According to myth Arrow went out to the wild, taking some of Humain's best advisers, generals and craftsmen with him to set up a new town but since no one has ever seen and returned from the place it's unlikely it exists. The are many odd tales surrounding the second guard from it being the center of the goblin empire to it housing the fountain of youth.

Small Villiages: Outside Humain's guard is an large area of flat, grassy land known as the Humain Planes. There's a reason for the Guard's existance: the plains are a dangerious place filled with man-eating beasts and odd occurences. The planes are a strange place, so anyone who lives there for a long time is probably just as inquirable. I've seperated out Arrow's Guard because it's technicly a small city not a small town and it's very probable that highly trained millitary persons could found a village but the other groups...

The Zu Halten Clan: According to Legend the Zu Halten Clan were magic empowered body guards of Humain. They were legends in their time, able to stop attacks and even heal the mortally wounded. Fortunately for the kingdom their skills weren't necessary often. After Humain died and his sons' power struggle began, the Zu Clan stayed neutral during the conflict when Dewmain was crowned, it didn't bother them and they continued they're service unaffected at least until twenty years ago when there was a sudden rash of ordinary people, who had shown no signs of violence before hand, started attacking the king in mass numbers. The Halten clan stopped the attacks successfully but sensed there was something more to the attempts and wanted to investigate, Dew would have it no such way...the assassins were beheaded publicly...there's one crucial thing to understand about the Zu Clan, they are passivists of the highest order. They bear scars up and down they're body from a ritual asking the forgiveness of the animals they eat. Having over fifty seemly innocent people killed because of their actions was to much for them, the up and left onto the planes, never to be heard from again. An interesting people to say the least.

The Luyoku Clan: The Luyoku clan were the origional inhabitants of the area that is now the city of Humain's Guard. They allowed people to live there and lived in the city once it developed. Once Dewmain took control he took control of the kingdom he deemed the dangerous. Although there was no way he could of known the Luyoku clan was doing something dangerous they agreed with him and left. The Luyokues are rumored to be the best mages among humans, even sealing demons within their bodies to gain spirit.

How to join

Character's Name: I don't much care what kind of name you have, just have a first and last name, just something modern or fantasy-esque.
Age: Just put the idea of age, if your character has a twelve digit age but looks six just put "six?". Please remember that melee fighter will be at a disadvantage if they're quite old or quite young and that magic users will use more physical strength at a young age but have only little magic knowledge and are very fragile at an old age but have much magic knowledge.
Race: Please read the one you want before choosing it. If you want to play a different race please pm me and ask
Physical Description: Include what your character looks like, what they wear(please keep physics and protection in mind), skin color, odd marks, weapons and where they are holstered, battle oriented equipment(throw weapons, scrolls, ECT), backpacks and other carrying equipment usually carried.
History: Send over PMs, complete and unabridged.
Hometown: Feel free to ask about different towns

The Guard is the mainstay for Solders, and also a good place for adventurers. That's correct about Arrow's Guard, if it exists that is wink . I wanted an archer's town but it just didn't work out well, Archer-Players might have to work out something. I also wanted a mage town but that didn't work out well either, maybe latter I'll have a chance to make a halloweenish town for them but for right now they'll probably either be trained threw aprenticship or one of the clans. Draks don't have class, but they can use different types of technices and usualy specialise in certien types: melle, ranged, healing, support, ect. So you can kind of classify them as Solders, archers or mages but it's not completely correct. The vampire summery is pretty much on cue. There's more then fire and ice dragons, but I don't think we'll have to worry about them much.
