This thread is to be used partly as an aide in roleplaying larger events in the other main threads. If, for instance, a warning is to be delivered to a family, sent by a family member, it would be helpful if there was a location that this could occur in. So, this thread will be representative of various Drake homes only.

A young Lunar Drake made her way through the grassy area alone, until a young Karash appeared. Her cousin, Elysia, was joining her. Thank goodness for the company . . . they'd never believe me alone she thought, wiping a tear from her cheek. It is a terrible thing, it is . . . seeing your mother thrown around like a rag doll and hurt badly. It would be one thing if the man that had done it to her were combatable but, so far, no one had challenged him. Her Uncle Harry seemed to be siding with Draco, for a change, which was also worrysome in the fact that it must be one heck of an adversary to require them both to fight. Celeste shivered in spite of herself and looked wearily over at her cousin.

Elysia smiled, a fake smile, but it was intended to try and cheer Celeste up.

Aunt Alex made it to the library okay, but I'm sure she already told you that . . . Elysia commented, not even wanting to know what it felt like to be Celeste at the moment. Her dad himself was still in the Nightshade Fields, but he tended to stay on the back burner of main events instead of getting involved, like Aunt Alex or Uncle Harry. She almost wondered why . . . was her dad a coward or something? She and her pet Varna, the Karash, walked alongside Celeste.

You going to warn Draco's family? she asked softly.

Celeste nodded. It would be awkward; she had never met any of them before, except for Aunt Adele and her other cousin, Kaiden. She was worried and wrang her hands a bit as they approached the somewhat large house that Alma's drakes resided in. She stopped a few feet from the mailbox, looking up at the big house. It was the middle of the night and she was just a child . . . would they even believe her, even with Elysia there to back up her story?

I'm just worried . . . there's a lot of Drakes in there and none of them know me . . . what if they don't believe us? Celeste asked softly. She wasn't normally so timid, but after seeing what that monster had done to her mother . . . . . . . . . . . . another chill ran down her spine in spite of herself.

Varna jumped up on Celeste, licking her face cheerfully. Things would be okay again eventually, the Karash seemed to be trying to say. Celeste smiled weakly.

Well . . . if they don't believe you . . . they could just go to see, but I don't think Mr. Draco would like that much . . . hey . . . are we supposed to be going to the library too? How many of us do you think it will hold? Elysia asked softly, pausing as well.

Celeste shrugged.

If there's some sort of seal, too many people will weaken it. I think our clan's a strong enough group to be able to fight on our own . . . I mean, we have Uncle Tornando, my 'sister' Flor, and some other uncle out there . . . Bastien, I think his name was . . . and then there's Aunt Adele, but she's part of Draco's family technically . . . well, then Aiden, and oh, can't forget Hanna, and then you and me. We should be able to hold off just about anyone . . . well . . . only Uncle Harry and Aunt Alex and Uncle Tornando have battled before, but the rest of us have watched enough matches to have a feel for things, I think Celeste said, starting to walk back up to the door again.

Elysia noded. She had a point about a weak seal with too many people, and, even with Uncle Harry fighting with Draco in the field and Aunt Alex taking shelter in the library, they still had three other adults, and then the three of them children. So . . . six more Drakes strong, and aware of the threat. Elysia followed her cousin up to the doorstep.

Hey . . . maybe we could form like . . . like a Drake army or something! We have our family, which is already six strong, not counting Uncle Harry and Aunt Alex, of course, and if that Uncle Bastien ever shows up, that makes seven! Then if Draco's family joins, we'll have tons more! That Dassan guy can't possibly kill all of us . . . can he? she said, her smile suddenly fading. Celeste shook her head.

I certainly hope not she said as she knocked heavily on the door.

Catriona was the one to first come to the door and open it, a welcome smile across her face. When she saw the strange drakes, she furrowed her brow a bit. "Can I help you?"

Adele, who had been visiting her family with Kaiden, came up behind Cat. "Elysia, Celeste? Is something the matter?" she asked, brow furrowing in concern. It was something about the air of the drakes that worried her a bit. Not only that, but their eyes read that something terrible had happened. "Come in, come in." She lightly placed a hand on Cat's shoulder to move her away from the door and allow passage for the two drakes and karash.

Drathir swept into the house through the back door. It hadn't taken him long for his intelligent brain to sort things out, especially after he had swept past where the Auradome used to lay. He only knew now that he needed someone to come with hm, someone to register for this tournament. And, of course, with this...this thing out there controlling Skalis, there was more safety in numbers, correct? He entered the kitchen, making every attempt to be quiet as not to alert the women and children milling around the home, and was lucky to find the handsome Kaiden standing there and stuffing his face with a cookie. "Kaiden." he whispered, grabbing the Shimmer drake's arm and dragging him outside.

Kaiden put up with the treatment until he was outside, which was when he wrenched his arm out of Drathir's grasp and gently rubbed his wrist. "Watch it...what, did I miss your birthday or something? You look furious." In reality, he hated to see the older drake like this. He looked like he would like nothing better than to rip someone's head off in anger. Kaiden had heard the stories of how "home" was, and what Drathir had had to put up with. He hated to be anywhere near the Fire drake's bad side because of it.

"Skalis...his seal has been broken." Drathir took little notice of the way that Kaiden's brows rose nearly to his hairline. He had told the younger one when he was a boy a little of it in the form of a simple tale. The way that the boy was processing everything in his mind was quite obvious. "The death dragon, Dassan, he's out for revenge and is hoping to destroy the entire race of us." He placed a hand on Kaiden's shoulder as he sighed deeply. "You need to come with me and fight in the tournament, alongside your father and your brother, and quite possibly your mother, if she gets wind of this." Knowing that he'd have more time to explain it on the way to the tournament building, Drathir began to walk with Kaiden, talking to him softly the whole way.

Elysia looked dubiously over at Celeste before starting.

Well, you see Aunt Adele . . . she started, glancing at Celeste, who was still quite upset, for backup.

Celeste bounded in with the information, quite pissed.

Skalis' seal is broken; he's transformed and calls himself Dassan . . . my mother and your brother were in the Nightshade Fields . . . he nearly killed her Celeste said, furious. She began pacing slowly, her child's body holding an adult's rage.

Uncle Draco's alright though, perfectly fine. Uncle Harry showed up and stood by him and Dassan left she said, assuring her aunt that her brother was okay.

Catriona merely stared at the two, most curious about the one who was pacing as she was, and lightly rubbed the back of her neck. They've gone mad! she thought. Perhaps she should recommend to Adele that she send them away or something? As she was opening her mouth to speak, however, Adele lightly turned her and nudged her towards the hallway adjacent to the living room, which led to their bedrooms. The young Celestial drake resisted the urge to argue, and simply began to walk down the hallway. She paused at the first door, Draco's room, and slipped inside it, poking her head out just enough to overhear what was being said.

Adele knew a little about this whole thing with Skalis. She had been in the room when Draco had been ranting to Alma about it, and how Profet had gotten on his case for revealing the information to Skalis. And so, she merely stood there and watched Celeste pace, as well as Elysia. "I see." While she may have appeared rather composed on the outside, inside she was a whirl of emotions. She lightly lifted a hand and swept it through her multicolored hair, letting out a long huff, before she gestured for the two to go and sit on the couch inside the living room. "We have much to discuss, I believe, and not a lot of time to do it in."

Elysia had to tug on Celeste's sleeve to assure her that she had her cousin's attention, as their aunt had just gestured for them to go in and sit on the couch. Celeste looked distracted and wiped away a tear impatiently, the stress finally getting to her. She might not be a blood daughter to Alex, but the Fire Drake was still her mother in her eyes.

Celeste sat down, but was almost instantly on her feet, pacing once again.

What do you want to know? she asked almost impatiently, wanting to be able to check on her mother at the library.

Adele, who was also about to sit down, kept to her feet when Celeste began to pace. "Well...where's your mother, and Harry, and what has this Dassan threatened to do, and..." She figured that that was enough questions at the moment, and simply leaned against the back of a chair slightly as she watched Celeste continue to pace and awaited for her to calm enough to answer her questions. She could understand how she was feeling, however. Adele was sure that she would grow frantic about her mate and her brother if she didn't receive an answer in a few seconds.

Celeste took a moment before answering, not to keep her aunt in suspense, but merely to think.

My mother is at the library, with your brother and my . . . Uncle Bastien, I think she said his name was. I've never heard of him . . . Dassan . . . he threatened both Draco and Alex's lives, and said that he's going to . . . at this point, she plopped down into the couch with despair, that he's going to save her for the last, and that she could be 'fun' and . . . at this point, she thoroughly burst out into tears, the stress and worry overwhelming her finally.

Elysia looked over at her cousin with sympahty and wrapped an arm around the girl's shoulders, trying without luck to console her. Some moments went by, but no one remembered her question about Harry. Thankfully, it was to be answered anyway.

Finding the lights on in the house at this late an hour, Harry was instantly worried and didn't bother to knock, but welcomed himself in and followed the sound of crying, his dread rising every moment until he was near panic. Seeing his two nieces and his mate safe if not happy, he instantly relaxed. He looked from his nieces to his mate and shook his head.

I suppose you know then? he asked, not disappointed, but simply hoping that she wouldn't do anything rash, like enter this tournament. They had two sons to look after and, if they were all fighting, who would look after the men of the family if Adele fought as well? That was his outward reason against it, but his real reason was probably the same as Draco's; he didn't want her getting hurt. The threat against Alex had shaken him enough, but . . . he didn't want Adele getting involved either.

Adele was about ready to burst into tears when there was no response about Harry. A quick breath had left her when she heard the door open and her head snapped to see the one who entered, but her eyes instantly softened when she saw her mate. She nearly ran to him and wrapped her arms around him, burying her eyes in his chest. She tried to hide the tears, but her shoulders were soon shaking with her silent sobs. "Y-yes." she stammered in a watery tone. "What's going t-to happen? Where is t-this Dassan now?" She had yet to hear about the tournament, and had no idea what was going on with her family.

Harry held her to him, letting her bury her head into her shoulder if she wished. He rested his head against hers as long as she would permit, but he doubted that would be long, with her current state of aggitation.

He's in the Shadowdome, where he is holding a tournament. The boys and I have already enrolled; you may if you wish but . . . here he trailed off, his tone saying clearly that he wished she wouldn't, and his eyes full of worry and concern, but foremost, the immediate and instant desire not to have her killed by a man he had hated from the instant he had set eyes on him.

"I have to." The words were spoken quickly, but clearly. Within a moment, her head was tilted back and her eyes focused on his own. The tears were still present in her eyes, but the look of determination that she carried was obvious. "The more of us who fight, the weaker we might make him." Her arms slipped down until they wrapped around his waist. She just needed to be close to him right now. "I-I know I'm not the greatest of fighters, but I just...have to do this."

Catriona, meanwhile, was listening with wide eyes. A tournament? Held by that...death dragon? The determination that was filling her sister immediately filled her as well. The Celestial side of her instantly flared up with the desire to fix the wrongs that this Dassan had done to those around him. Her hand, always curled around her staff, developed a tighter hold as she softly exhaled. Yes...she knew what she had to do. She looked over her shoulder at the window leading out of Draco's room and moved to it. With little effort, the window was open, and the young girl was outside. Perhaps I should... No, there was no reason to tell Adele. She'd figure it out soon enough. Cat turned her eyes towards the large dome in the distance and began to run towards it.

Namine sighed as she stared out the window to her house. "Roxas...Hateshi...please be safe," she prayed. Silently she started crying occasionally wiping her tears away with her finger tips. Suddenly, a box appeared on her lap. It was a little heavy but Namine was only interested in the title on the top of the box.

Namine or Gabriella, please give this to Axel and Evadne. This may be the last thing I can do for them. As for you, the only thing I can send is my love for you two. I wish I could hug you one more time. Never forget how much I love you.

Your brother, Roxas

Gabriella heard her sister abruptly cry out loud. Running towards Namine, she shook her gently,"Big sister! What's wrong?! What's Wrong?! What's that box? Is is from Roxas? What did he want?!" Namine didn't answer and continued crying. Worriedly Gabriella bit her fingernails and tried to figure out what the strange symbols on the box said. "It is from Roxas, isn't it," she asked quietly,"Hateshi said he and Roxas might be gone for a long time. But did he mean they were gonna die-" Before she could finish her sentence, Namine hugged her tightly.

"Please...*sniff*....don't....think like that...." she whispered into her little sister's ear,"They....will come...back...so don't worry....they'll come back..."

"Namine..."

Gabriella hugged her sister back and nodded,"Yeah, they'll be back. They have too. I mean Roxas has to see the exppression on Axel's and Evadne's face when they read and see whatever's inside it. Yeah...." As the two sisters hugged one another their thoughts were on their brothers whom they hoped would come back to them.Safe and Sound.
