After that strenuous talk with Entreri from her second meeting with him (though that had been with his friend Rahu, and Aruna and Mocha were there as well), she had flown off and was now currently letting her mind wander around.
...Why had she acted so brashly?
...Why had she been so irritated?
...Why had she been so... jealous...?
No! That's not right! How could she be so jealous of Aruna that quickly when all the wingless earth-colored mare did was have a short chat with Artemis Entreri!? She found she couldn't understand it at all. She wasn't at all possessive...
...or if she was, she didn't acknowledge it. She almost wished she could speak to Aruna about these problems; though young, the chocolate coated mare was wise beyond her years. Quick-witted, cunning, sharp-tongued... lightning eyes, Aruna was a fit companion for Shimshek.
She wouldn't ever admit that aloud, though. Stomping a hoof in frustration of her thoughts wandering around mindlessly until they, again, settled on Entreri, she frowned once more. No, no more frowning! Her complexion would be ruined...
...but stupid, stupid Artemis Entreri just had to keep invading her mind, her very soul. Well, okay, perhaps not her soul, but he was still invading her mind, unwelcomed. Why wouldn't he just go away!?

Entreri being the sly one he was, had saw Shimshek from the air and landed lightly infront of her. " seems to me your deep in thought Shimshek over soemthing am i wrong?" was all he said as he snapped his wings to his side and ruffled them a bit. he hardly was one to attach himself to anyone or think really about anyone that went past the thought of friends. but then he hardly even thought of anyone as a friend. standing there with no clear emotion showing, he had a light smirk on his face.

Why oh why...? She found herself in the air about 10 feet away from the stallion... no, alicorn... no... "Entreri!?" she nearly shrieked. After long moments passed, she finally calmed down, for clearly she had been startled out of her wits.
Landing gently and gracefully, she folded her wings with dignificance and glowered at Entreri. "You should warn those you know when you plan to appear out of nowhere, Entreri! I swear I thought I had nearly died then and there from fright!"
She wasn't paying much attention to her words, but she knew she had confessed some things she normally wouldn't. She trusted Entreri not to speak of it, though. At least, she hoped so.
"I was in deep thought, and of course you're not wrong, but obviously, I'm not anymore in either sense of your question," she said irrtably. "What do you want?" Okay, she was feeling snappish...
...But it was all his fault for intruding in her mind all the time! He wouldn't leave her alone! She felt he deserved her anger and annoyance.

Entreri still stood there with that smirk. " my, my in a snappy mood are we. and come now i thought you where more alert to your surrondings than that." he ruffled his wings a bit, still standign there calm as her snappness bothered him none. " as to want i want, theres nothign i want. i merly saw you while taking a flight about check the surrondings. adn please do remeber to keep that temper in check aorund me." he watched her every move, and every body movement she made or even spoke as he aimed to figure out what was up.

"Shut up, Entreri," she retorted, eyes narrowed in a glower. "I'm more alert when I am just idly standing, doing nothing, and bored out of my mind. I found this place to be calm and there was no scent of predators, so I stayed here... I felt perfectly safe, thank you."
The quivering of her wings indicated how ruffled she had been from his surprise appearence, as well as hiding something else, too. Hopefully he wouldn't pick up on it; if she knew Entreri (however little she had known him), he was cold-hearted in matters of the heart...
...not that she herself was any better. Darn that Aruna.
"If there's nothing you want, then why are you here? I thought you preferred to be alone, not try to find company," she replied in a nasty tone. "Oh, so you saw me, did you? Shall I take that as a compliment...?" She pretended to think about it for a minute, then, "I think I shall."
A triumphant smirk graced her features as she looked him over. Entreri was a different sort of beyond-handsome than Wakinyan. She found she preferred him, strangely enough, over Wakinyan. Wakinyan seemed more gentle, and again... she did] like those bad boys.
Darn, Aruna was rubbing off on her. The silly mare had a mate though; her "knight in shining armor". "I suppose I'll watch my anger around you, but I can't promise. I trust you understand the situation, given my reasons for my temper." She aimed to divert him away from any signals. He was observative, and she needed to distract him enough he didn't realize...
...unless...
She smiled to herself. Perhaps she could bring Entreri toward the answer...?
...Hm...

Entreri raised a brow, still standing there calm and cool. " ah but even when feeling safe you should keep you guard up as you just learned soemthing could pop up randomly." he gave a sly grin, and contiuned to watch her actions and words. " to put it plain and simple i am bored looking for some amusment and you can take it as a compliment if you so choose." she almsot diverted his attenton for a moment but that would be a challege all in its own. " ah but you should learn to contorl those emotions as they might get you into trouble one day." ofcourse Entreri was cold hearted towards feelings and matters of the heart. he found those things a weakness so he kept them locked away

She contemplated her next action, and finally nodded to herself. Moving slightly closer, not yet invading Entreri's personal space, she spoke in a soothing, soft, persuasive voice; almost sounding seductive as she spoke. "Is that so? And why are you telling me this? Do you care that much for my well-being?"
She nearly sneered at him. "I thought someone like you wouldn't care beyond anything except yourself... and perhaps a rival." She watched him closely, moving ever closer, millimeter by millimeter, centimeter by centimeter, inch by inch, until she knew she was just at his personal space. Just at it; no closer, yet no further away, either.
Casually fluttering her eyelids, as if she did that everyday (which, actually, she really did do everyday), she eyed him from under her eyelashes. "So I can see... I shall be more aware, then; thank you for your concern, my handsome friend." She had whispered a part of her sentence, wondering if he would catch it.
She doubted he would care, but would he be shocked? Did the male even have emotions? But of course, you silly mare. Every being runs on emotion, just most like to hide them or ignore them...

Entreri kept watching her as she came closer as if she wanted to seduce him. if it had been anyone else, the would have been shocked, but Entreri had trained himself to beable to still so no emotions though with Drizzt his emotions have been known to get the better of him. before he bothered to reasponed, he took a few moments to think things through. giving a sly smirk as he was done thinking, he figured if she was going to try and play around with him, that he would play back and see what will happen or atlest try and turn the tables on her. " ah but maybe i am just keeping an feelings for you i might have away, and hidden. as you know im not one to show any emotions for anyone." taking things a step further than what Shimshek had done so far, he slowly and softly gave a small nuzzle, just to see what kind of reaction he might get.

Had it been a stallion that had really been acting like Entreri was right now, Shimshek would have rebuked the nuzzle. At the moment, it was Entreri... and Shimshek swore her heart stopped. After a split second, she unfroze from the sudden shock of Entreri making the first move...
...so he was playing her game, eh? "I heard sarcasm in the remark, dear friend," she replied softly, huskily, emphasizing "friend" carefully, to test his ability to read her "thoughts" through her body. She returned his nuzzle, a slight grin on her face.
"I know you're not one for emotions... am I so lucky to even see this much of them...?" she whispered, silver eyes glowing mysteriously.

Entreri being the watchful one he was, noticed her she froze up for a moment from the nuzzle. and knowing her, he figured she would have rebuked the nuzzle but maybe she did not because of him." oh do you think there was? or are you hoping there was? and maybe you are Shimshek as it seems you think you know me well but do you truely know me at all?" mentaly he brushed off the nuzzle she gave and at her emphasizing 'friend' that would mean atlest to anyone that she only saw him as a friend. but entreri thought maybe there was a hidden meanign to her doing that since she had froze up at his nuzzle.

Arrogant p***k, she mused, smiling slightly despite her thoughts. "Perhaps I did, perhaps I didn't. I doubt you can read my thoughts to know," she countered, rolling her eyes at him a bit. "I know you and I don't know you. That's that, and as far as I'm concerned, it's enough, isn't it?
"It's not like you know me all that well, either. Do you think you truly know me?" This game of theirs was becoming intense, but delightful. As a proud alicorn male, she knew Entreri would brush aside all attempts at "love" moves and only play along, to play with a mare's heart.
She felt sorry for any mare who fell for him. Almost, anyway. Shimshek smirked at him. Had he figured it out yet? Now why did she emphasize friend...? He was intelligent--perhaps he would figure it out now? Moving closer, until their bodies nearly touched, she gave a quick shiver at their closeness.
Her shudder of pleasure vanished just as quickly as it came, and her eyes searched his carefully. Guarded... she herself and Entreri kept their feelings hidden. But that made for a very fun game...

Entreri felt the shudder and desicded to dimise it. and whe she looked into his eyes, he revealed nothing but searched her eyes as well.he mused a bit for a moment at what Shimshek was playing at. also normaly he would have shrugged of and walked off on any mare foolish enough to play flirting games with him. " ah but maybe what you think yolu know about me is not me. as i could say the same aobut me thinking i know you as you could just be playing games. and to answer your question i think i do know you enough to know what kind of reactions you will give to cetain situations. as to mind reading your right i can't but i am highly good at figuring someone out enough to make it seem i am." he gave a dark smirk at her, as he was enjoying this game a bit. but what got to him was how she had threw him off a bit by emphasizing friends, and some how even with his cunningness and intelligents, for a odd reason it stumped him a bit or did it?

His eyes were guarded well; he revealed nothing. She mentally sighed; who was she kidding? Her chest ached suddenly... why did it hurt? She mentally slammed her head against an imaginary tree... she was acting like a lovesick idiot!
"All right, you win. You just now confused me with what you just said," she replied, mind whirling crazily. Her head hurt wondering what in the world he was saying; he contradicted himself while at the same time made a new point in the conversation. It was a wonder, she mused, that she lo--liked him at all.
She quirked an ear at him (a trick she had gotten from Aruna) and stared. "You think you know me well? If you knew me well, Entreri, you'd be able to read my thoughts!" She was half-teasing, but idly wondered if he really did know her that well.
"So, my good friend, what'd got you stumped?" she asked, noticing that he seemed a bit confused. Just slightly, though; just barely, so that she saw before it flickered, vanishing, almost as if it wasn't there in the first place. Love at first sight, my hoof! she huffed to herself. At least I know when I can't compete.
...Or could she...?

Entreri gave a sly grin as he contiuned to watch her and almost laughed that she had caught on to what he allowed. watchign her still in his mind he was thinking that she was trying to hide a certian little fact about her feelings. and with her little game it was not hard to think she some how had a thing for him. keeping his emotions and boby gestures nutrual, he contiuned to watch her.

He was on to her. She could tell from the way he was watching her very closely. Huffing angrily, she backed away from him, hiding the sudden cold feeling she felt when she had moved away from his wa--body. "Whatever." She suddenly felt subdued... what the crap!? She frowned to herself. She found she couldn't think of any words to say... wait a minute. Entreri had turned the game on her! How dare he! Glowering at him, she turned to walk away. What did she, or especially, he, care for, anyway? He just came to bug her, that was all. Hmph...
