"Papa?"
*Tiny paws pushed against the red fur of her father as she mewed to him softly. It was dark out still and within the den that Ausi shared with her sister’s and mother she found herself feeling cramped and alone. Sev and Mat both were cuddled up close to mother and Ausi couldn’t really take it any longer. She had come out side to be with father- he after all always loved to play with his cubs. Nudging him Ausi mewed again and an again- doing her best to get her father’s attention.*
"Wake up!"
*She cried out with a soft pounce, nipping at his left ears as she rolled back to the ground.*

"Mmm..."
*Akamu’s lime green eyes closely came to as he found himself turning his sight to his side, trying to see who it was that was disturbing him from his sleep. With a lazy smile he pulled his large black toed paws around his charcoal colored cub and pulled her over to lay with him.*
"Ausi, what are you doing awake? It's still dark out."
*Her father nodded to himself before moving his sight back to the night's sky. Tiny specks of light could be seen, hanging over them like a dark blanket. He slept out side to keep an eye out for danger- he couldn’t risk anything with his mate still sick.*
"You should be sleeping."
*This time Akamu moved himself to smile at his daughter, nuzzling his long, fluffy mane against her cheek slowly.*

"I know, I know- but I can’t sleep."
*The cub explained, nodding her head against his full mane. A soft smile passed her maw as she tilted her red face into his fur. She felt different beside her father- she didn’t really look like him- other then the marking that they shared Ausi felt like she held no resemblance to her father. She had a dark coat like her mother- with a totally different shade of red- nothing like her father's color but then again both Sev and Mat also looked funny.
Mat was a lot like Akamu in color... with red fur and black and white markings. As for Sev, Ausi knew that her father’s mother was very white in color- maybe that's where her sister got it from. Ausi sighed and let the thought go and simply rested herself against her father. She had not been having the best of weeks and all in all she was on the merge of snapping.*
"I had a bad dream."
*She added truthfully.*

"A bad dream?"
*Her father questioned softly, listing to her words with care. She seemed down lately and Akamu didn’t really know what to do. Her mother would know how to handle this… but she wasn’t well enough to really do much at this time. With a deep sigh he smiled at his cub and moved himself to roll onto his dark red belly; wrapping a large paw around her he moved Ausi with his as he did this- so that they both lay side by side. With a soft tone Akamu eyed down at his darkest and asked.*
"What was it about?"
