Mtima'safi was looking for Kizamaji yet again, and she had gone to the den again in hopes of finding him there. It'd worked before, and there was life around it. She knew something long before most would be able to tell, even before her stomach started to swell she could see the two souls that had taken up residence within her. It was something that delighted her, but also concerned her. Her belly was growing, and to hide it for now she had put illusion over it as well as her wings. There was something else to worry about before others saw that.
"Kiz?" she called out hopefully, looking aorund for the blue lion.
The blue male instantly responded to her call, as he padded from out of the den in happiness. As soon as Mtima'safi came into sight, his eyes lit up. "Mtima!" He smiled, and ran quickly to her side, snuggling her. He didn't notice her belly, since she was hiding it very well.
"Kiza," Mtima beamed at him, snuggling back, before she was reminded why she'd come to find him, and her smile turned sheepish. "I have to tell you something," she said and took a step back so they could look each other in the eyes. Her mind was reviewing reactions she'd already had in recent times, and when a voice in the back of her mind reminded her that he loved her she smiled again, gaining some confidence again. It wouldn't matter so much, no need to worry.
Kizamaji tilted his head curiously, and then sat down, looking into her eyes. "Yes, hun? What do you need to tell me?" He smiled, and flicked his tail about, lightly. Whatever she had to say, he would accept the fact -- and be happy, no matter what.
"Kiza, I'm not a regular lioness," she said, choosing her words carefully. Her shoulders twitched as her thoughts moved to her wings, but she kept the illusion- his reaction to her being different would effect if she showed him or told him, or in which order she did it. She kept her eyes locked on a his and a small smile on her face, he just looked so accepting it was hard to be doubtful.
He blinked, and then came closer to her -- still looking to her. "Not regular? .. ... Mtima, you can't get anymore unregular than a lion." He chuckled a bit, and then looked away for a moment. He was almost hoping she was kidding, but she was all too serious. As soon as he looked away, he smiled, and looked back to her. He couldn't keep his eyes off his love.
Mtima didn't move when Kiza approached her, but stayed where and how she was. His reaction was still positive, so she decided to just go ahead with it like a normal conversation. Of course, the topic was anything but normal. "I'm a goddess," she said matter-of-factly, and her shoulders gave a shudder as the illusion was dropped from them. Soft white feathers with brown tips appeared folded neatly on her back, and she glanced back to take a look herself before turning back to see what Kiza said.
Kizamaji backed up slightly, awed by the sight before him. He didn't even know Gods existed. "Your ... ... a Goddess?" He eyed up the wings, telling himself a million times he was dreaming. He looked up to her, and then came back to her, happy. "Mtima. I ... ... I don't care what you are. I love you for what's inside. I would never hate you, or get mad at you, for lying to me." He clung to her, and closed his eyes. "Anyways, your a Goddess. Isn't that a cooler thing? You have WINGS." He chuckled a bit, and snuggled closer to her. His tail curled around hers, as he smiled more and more. "I love you, hun." He licked Mtima lovingly on the cheek, and looked back into her eyes.
Mtima watched Kizamaji back up, watching him carefully- he looked surprised, but he didn't look upset. His reaction was better than some she'd received, and that was perfectly fine with her. She nodded to confirm what she'd said, answering his question. When he said he didn't care and loved her for what was inside, it was perfect. After all, she specialized in what's in creatures. She nuzzled into him happily, "I'm glad, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I love you too."
She leaned back a bit and licked him affectionately on the nose. "I'm glad, and I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. It just didn't seem to come up, but I had to tell you now," she explained vaguely, her eyes saying more than her mouth. She obviously had something else to tell him.
"Mtima, I understand everything. If I were you, I would've hid it too." He grinned, and then laid down on the ground comfortably. He motioned the goddess to join him down there, since the standing was killing his paws.
"This is why I asked about the pride's religion," she murmured, smiling and laying beside him. Her stomach may have been hidden, but it didn't stop her from feeling the extra weight as she stood there. "I had to be careful, I'm guessing it's not one relating to any gods," she added, swishing her tail behind her.
"There's something else, too,"Mtima said, looking much more cheerful than before.
