(08-28 05:13 PDT BEIJING, China (AP) --
A woman in Hohhot, the capital of north China's Inner Mongolia region, crashed her car while giving her dog a driving lesson, the official Xinhua News Agency said Monday.
No injuries were reported although both vehicles were slightly damaged, it said.
The woman, identified only be her surname, Li, said her dog "was fond of crouching on the steering wheel and often watched her drive," according to Xinhua.
"She thought she would let the dog 'have a try' while she operated the accelerator and brake," the report said. "They did not make it far before crashing into an oncoming car."
Xinhua did not say what kind of dog or vehicles were involved but Li paid for repairs.

-chuckles- very funny.
The thing is some people believe their pets, to be more like human and their own children. If she has no kids of her own, I can see why she would believe that her dog could drive. If she could teach her dog how to do such things, and this is a if, if she was really sick, and depending on the size of the dog, the dog could get her to the hospital in time to be saved... at least that's the only real reason I could think teaching the dog to drive... personally she should of started with teaching it to ride a bike.

You mention me in your signature! xd How cool. smile
And, my auntie has no children but has two great danes who are like her children in a sense...but she would never let them drive. lol

-chuckles- yes well you did give me gold for my quest and that should be noted -smiles softly- As for your aunt, very wise move in not teaching them to drive.
I know a lot of people who treat their pets as children, fact they dress them up in clothing. Heck I do that myself, course my dog... gives me a dirty look and starts to eat the clothing -.-

Well, I think it's okay if you want to take your dog for a walk in the winter and it's cold out...so you put a little sweater thing on it. No big deal. But not for like everyday...that's just plain ridiculous. My moms dogs both wear bandanas sometimes, but it's more for play than anything. They're both small dogs, and like to grab onto the other ones bandana and tug and play around with it. It's cute, but not meant to be like some sort of cute doggy clothing. lol

Great. I miss my dog now. Even more than before. Cause I'm still on vacation. xD My dog and I. Somehow. He acts like me. We're SO lazy. And we make other people do stuff for us. That we might be somehow spoiled in a way.
... but then every pet we get is lazy... how is that possible.... rolleyes

They say pets take after their owners... at least that's what they say. But I don't know, I would dress up my dog everyday, if she would just stop eating the clothing -.-
