Opening night is steadily approaching for the Broadway musical Love 8539.(I'll love you if you understand it xD) Tech week has begun and stress is growing among every one; lines and costumes being perfected, lights and mics being checked, dance blocking being fixed up and musical numbers being replayed and checked down to the last note. On stage relationships have slowly and unknowingly turned into off stage. Every so often problems arise with so many people seeing so much of each other, other than the few problems most everyone is close with everyone else working on the show. Everyone pretty much knows every one and everyone has gotten used to working close with one another. Cast members were their everyday clothes till the days rehersal starts and about an hour till the actual show starts which is when they start to get everything ready, crew wear pure black as not be seen backstage and around the house by those who are watching the show. Others who stay more in the dressing rooms and such are allowed to wear what they please. Those who aren't working on the shows aren't permitted backstage at all during tech week or the show only after once the house has been cleared.
I'll pick a date for the 'opening night' and we'll go through the show as people going on and offstage when needed so most likely all rping during the show will be off stage, dressing room(s) and outside the theater then of course there�s always a cast party to celebrate a successful opening night.

-When there are more people I have a feeling there will be quoting but only do so once or twice.

For this rp there will probably be a good amount of people needed; Cast members (singers and dancers), Director, stage managers(2), deck captains, crew; stagehands, costume/set designers, choreographer and plenty others. (yes lotsa people ._.) Cast can be mostly any age, crew would be from 18 and up but there are a small handful of younger people participating in an internship.

Talents: Aside from his acting, he has been heard, more often than seen, playing the sax. He's really good at poker and handling playing cards.(This includes card tricks)
Bio: Spencer was placed into acting school at the young age of six(his mother's wish). Though he never seemed outwardly interested, he never gave it up. He was always told to shoot for the highest roles he could get in everything he did. He's a bit of a perfectionist, actually. Everything he does has to be exactly a certain way, no mistakes. Though he may take control of the stage, he's often much quieter on his own time. He's not exactly anti-social, but he won't come running to find company.

Talents: Acts increadibly well but sings majestically, though he never does. He has never sung for anyone save himself, and refuses to do so for anyone, unless it is in a show.
Bio: Fresh from a Broadway run with the show called White Picket Fences, a play he wrote and stared as the lead in, also won the Tony for Best Play, for, he has met some resentment in the acting world for his age. He is not, however, arrogant, though he despises people who second guess him for they think they have more experience. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, he was asked why he had chosen to join the cast of love 8539. His answear:
"I want people to know that I'm willing to do work, take direction. And if one more person says that I'm just another pretty face that got lucky. They can go f--- themselves, I earn what I do. Whether it's a smash or trash, I earned it."

Character Name: Johann Tiernan
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Johann is of moderate height, measuring an average six feet, and has smooth blonde hair that falls about his face in uneven locks. His eyes are a soft blue, and they never seem to lose the smile that is usually playing on his lips. His face is handsome, and one can see in his eyes that he is by no means inexperienced, but his demeanor is one so gentle and shy that it can be misleading. His build is slender, but exquisitely formed, with finely toned muscles and sensitive, fair skin. He can usually be seen wearing a collar or necklace of some sort. His favorite of which being a long, silver chain, with a tiny, silver pawprint hanging from it. Overall, Johann is very attractive, and carries himself as though he knows so.
Talents: Even from a very young age, Johann was an incredible dancer. His grace and poise carry him well, and have allowed him to become professional, even before his experiences would have. As for his acting, he is decent, but definitely not lead material. Johann also enjoys painting, and has a lovely Tenor singing voice.
Bio: Johann grew up in a noble family. His father, Malachai Tiernan, was a very strict, but loving man, who insisted that all of his children grow up into fine ladies and gentlemen. So Johann was trained in everything from the culinary arts to foreign language. The family was like a typical noble family in many ways, but one was most prominent: Lord Malachai tried at every available opportunity to marry his children off to other upstanding members of society. Many women tried, and failed, to attain Johann's affections, but he never seemed interested in the charms of the fairer sex. As he grew older, Johann became a teacher and mentor to many of his siblings, and when he heard about the job openings at the local school, he leapt at the chance to put his kind, patient nature to good use as a dance teacher. However, his employment didn't last long, and the young man found himself out of work, and very much in need of a job. It was at this point that auditions for "Love 8539" began to be advertised, and he figured he might as well try his luck...
Other: Johann in an insufferable flirt, and has only one successful relationship. Even so, he is very dedicated to his craft, and will often not notice if anyone's watching him dance.

Age: seventeen
Gender: male
Occupation: He can do costumes, be a techy, or sing. His acting is alright, but nothing special.
Apperence: He has very pale skin, to the point of looking almost completely white. His hair is perfectly straight, although he does not straighten it, down to about shoulder length and black with feathered red tips. His bangs are about chin length or longer and pulled to the left side, as is his part. His lips are rosy, but cheeks are pale. His eyes are brown. He is slender and about 5'9" (a little shorter than average). He has an eyebrow peircing in his left eyebrow, a belly button wring, a lip wring on the side of his mouth and many peircings in his ears. He just likes those things.
Talents sad Opotional) He has a very sweet voice that can reach the high notes, but also the low ones. He can play keyboard as well as the harp. He is very tallented at creating clothes and costumes from scraps and other unlikely things.
Bio sad Optional) He is, for the most part, quiet. He opts to skulk in the background rather than take the lead. He judges others quite easily but has learned not to trust those judgements because he is usually wrong. He is smart, but doesn't do anything with it. He dropped out of high school as soon as he turned sixteen and is saving up to go to a fasion school instead. He is a little sadistic and twisted, but not too much. He is surprisingly kind when it counts, but he doesn't waste his time with "useless" or unneccesary things.

Bio: Shaquire had been on and behind the stage for years playing flute in his school for shows and ther usual concerts and he also sang in a handful of in school and out of school plays, if he wasn't on stage he was backstage helping out with moving the sets and working with sound board and the like. But he mostly spends so much time around the stage because of his over religious parents who hate/fear his 'devil' or blood red hair, strane eye color and just barely stand his sexual prefrence. Doing some kind of stage work is what helps him take his mind off them, it's commen to see him long after most everyone has left just sitting around quietly.
Other: He is only 18 but when he said he was going to apply he was able to get recommendations from school and someone he took an internship under, and does the work someone a little older than him would do.

Talents: Caden is a very talented trumpet player, a fact anyone is able to see once he puts the instrument to his lips. A lesser known fact, one that few other then those close to him know, is that he can also sing. And sing well.
Bio: Not much to tell here. Caden grew up in the city with all the usual family members: Father, Mother and two younger sisters. The family was always close-knit, a fact that didn’t change after he admitted his lack of attraction to the female gender to his parents and siblings. If anything, it made the family even closer and perhaps even a bit more protective of him.
Never having been very extroverted, Caden usually prefers to sit and read then go out and party. Polite and soft-spoken, the young trumpeter would rather sit quietly in the back then jump up and be in the spotlight.

The redhead looked over the list in his hand, a box in the other mumbling to himself. Shaquire had been told to check the battery power of and hand out mics to the said cast members on the list. He took the first mic, popped out the 9-volt battery taking the other item which seemed to measure the voltage and checked the battery. With a quick nod he replaced it, put it to the side and went on to the next. By what he was doing and his attire of a tight black shirt and snug black pants he was someone who worked behind the scenes. It took abit of time but he was rather quick checking the 15 bodypacks, two set to the side were dead. "I'll hand those out then replace these." He said to himself placing the good mics back in the box and got up placing the other two off stage on a table, making his way to the dressing room. The first day of tech week has begun.

Zak was currently in the dressing room, several pins sticking out from his mouth has he made the final alterations on one of the cast member's costumes. She kept fidgitting and making him lose his place, resulting in her getting poked with pins several times. But she was a good actress and he couldn't do anything about her bad temper. He finally finished, straightening up and tucking some overly long bangs behind one ear before he helped the woman out of her dress. The first day was always tiring - especially with ill-tempered people like this one. He looked up breifly as a techy entered and waved before turning to the next costume that needed his attention.

As sook as he walked into the dressingroom Shaquire noticed someone wave and instantly returned. He glanced at the actress who's costume he was working on, and looked back at the list for a second. Perfect she wore a mic. He made his way over and smiled. "Hey Zak, how has the internship been?" He asked merely to make conversation as he looked through the box for the correct mic.

He shrugged, taking a pin from his mouth and carefully placing it in the costume. "It's alright," he murmured through a mouthful of pointy, silver pins. "A little frustrating, though, when I get lip," he muttured, obviously still angry at the actress he had previously fitted. "How's it going in tech?" He had a bit of a tallent for talking with things in his mouth, but this time he wasn't so lucky and a pin stuck him in the tongue. He cursed under his breath, looking peeved, and quickly pulled the pin out with a scowl.

Shaquire nodded finally picking the Mic out and handing it to the girl, asking if she knew how to put it on and getting a smile and a nod. "I can't lame you, though thats how it is some times.... Mostly from acters," He added quietly. "But some from crew. Fine. I'm handing these out then going to check them on the computer." He wince slightly himself as the other pinned his tongue. "You alright?"

He nodded, scowl remaining on his lips, and conitnued to pin the costume until he finally finished. He sent the actor off and then turned back to the techy. "Eh... I've done worse... when you work with costumes, it's amazing just where you find pins," he said with a bit of a shrug. He silky, raven hair kept on escaping from behind his ear and he had to tuck it back again several times before it stayed.
