During the Q&A at Brian and Kevin's signing for the new book a question was asked by the gentlmen sitting next to me, "Are there any plans to make another Dune movie or mini series?"
Brian and Kevin had this to say, "There is a movie but the brakes are put on the project for a few reason. The big one is not to have the same problems as they had with the Lynch film. Being not the movie itself but the rights to everything. It tied our hands with all things Dune for awhile do to legal reason. We also want this movie to be more true to the books."
Brain and Kevin also said they can't and won't comment on which book/s the movie would be about and that we would just have to wait and see.

Creme de la Creme basicaly means best of the best. As for ******** it as you put it that is part of the reason the brakes were put on the project.

Godon Ichigosama Creme de la Creme basicaly means best of the best. As for ******** it as you put it that is part of the reason the brakes were put on the project.

You just put a spin on the skill, "Backstab".

Well the first and second were adequate but the third was completely messed. the fourth was alright because it was just a series of events and easier to do. if they plan to make the fifth one I'm already sensing that it won't be good. God Emperor of Dune I think might be far too deep for the moviemakers and they are going to twist it in some way.

Ahaa, I suppose. I could complain about the Lord of the Rings for similar reasons I think. My least favouritte part was the gunpowder. Why do they always have to bring goddamned explosives into fantasy movies. I hated how that was done, and I remember thinking to myself before the movie, "I hope they don't cut back on time by using explosives..."
They did.
