Hey why doesnt billie joe play his old guitar in videos anymore? He used it for a long time...till Nimrod. But i sorta thought he'd use it in the video "wake me up when September ends" since its about his father sweatdrop

It probably means alot to him. But like Stupidity said, he does have replicas...
Maybe he's moved on?
I find that hard to belive though, the death of a father would obviously be a hard thing to get over.
I guess no one knows but Billie Joe himself.

Master-Basser It probably means alot to him. But like Stupidity said, he does have replicas...
Maybe he's moved on?
I find that hard to belive though, the death of a father would obviously be a hard thing to get over.

I miss blue....may it rest in peace....it's too speacial to him, it's probably in a safe place with him. It means much to him and he doesn't want anything bad to happen to it. He uses it for special occasions, like when he performs for example,When I Come Around, Longview, Castaway, 2,000 Lightyears Away etc. and he also used it at the Iced Out New Years to play Longview. He's used it a lot, and it also was the thing that helped make the sound to make Green Day booming in success. I love Blue! 3nodding , it was the guitar that made me INTO Green Day!

If you notice carefully when he plays it nowadays (hardly though), the strings kinda look....rusty-ish

I understand it's not the same thing, but it's better than completely forgetting about Blue. Maybe he could give Blue a face lift...it might be a pointless and feelble attempt, though.

He played orignal blue tonight! he played it during Paradise. But then he put it back. I guess because it was the last American Idiot tour show he decided to play it. It made me feel so special. I *almost* touched it! yes, I was THAT close.
