A slightly concerned look touched the face of Tumai as he worked his way around the entire Valley, looking for someone in particular. He hadn't seen her in ages, and no matter where he went to in the Valley, he couldn't catch her scent. Now, he found himself at the edge of the forest that led out into the World outside of the Valley.
Jade-coloured orbs scanned the area, looking for the familiar silvery-grey pelt that belonged to his older sister. "Where are you Ithi?" He said out loud, to no one in particular. His voice was laced with worry. If she wasn't in the Valley, where could she be?

Ithi had been looking for her son and eventually had found him. The handsome juve was following his mother along the boundaries of the pridelands, they were leaving.
Ithi had never intended to leave this place no matter what Maji would say she had refused to leave. She had her three cubs for her and Denge, and she was proud of them. She had heard the rumours of what was to happen in the pride and with one of her sons missing she had told Denge they should find a new home.
Dhar was following his mother, he had no clue about what was going on, his growing mane covered half of his face as he walked and his green eyes searched the ground infront of them. It was his ears that picked up the sound of anothers voice.
"Mother, someone is calling you." He spoke quietly so not to upset his mother who seemed to be on constant edge at the moment. He watched her nod and head towards where the voice was, he knew she had heard it and recognized it because a smile flicked onto her face for a second.

Tumai's ears perked as he heard a voice he didn't recognise. Soon after though, he caught the familiar scent he had been searching for, and his eyes lit up. "Ithi?" He called out into the forest as he started moving again, at a much quicker pace this time.
Finally, he caught sight of the bright silvery coat that stood out so well against the greens and browns of the trees. He smiled, quickening his pace until he reached her. "Ithi, I've been looking everywhere for you!" It was only after he said that that he noticed the young male stood at his sister's side. Tilting his head slightly, he noted the male's similiarity to Ithi, and it quickly dawned on him that he must now be an uncle. Rather than jumping up and down like a happy bunny, he just turned back to Ithi, a big grin on his face. "Are you going to introduce me?"

Ithi looked up as Tumai shouted her name a couple more times. She raised her head to look at her big brother and instantly walked over to nuzzle him.
"I have been looking for you also Tumai." She paused and sighed looking down at her son and listening to the questions that Tumai asked. "This is one of your nephews. The other, Fedah has gone wandering. I am searching for Ash, their black sister and then we are leaving, both me, Denge and our children." She looked down at Dhar who said nothing but looked at his uncle completely confused at how he could be related to his mother.
Ithi was however standing, dreading Tumai's reaction at finding out he was an uncle to three and that he couldn't spend time with them because they were all leaving.

(( xd Tumai is Ithi's younger brother, since Ithi was born first... surprised although, by big brother, you may have been refering to Tumai's size... *Just reminding you just incase* heart ))
Tumai was ready to greet and embrace his nephew, until Ithi revealed what they were doing so far from the centre of the Valley. "But why?" The usually positive lion didn't look at all happy. As if the thought of his sister leaving wasn't bad enough, she was leaving with the nephews and niece that he had only just found out even existed.
"And where is your mate? Doesn't he mind that you're leaving with his offspring?" The thought of Ithi breeding outside of a relationship didn't even occur to him, and her relationship with Denge would be even more of a shock. Tumai couldn't even fathom why she would want to leave.

((I was referring to size ^_^ ))
Ithi looked up at her brother and sighed as she let him ask all the questions that in truth, she wished he wouldn't ask.
"My mate is coming with me, as is her daughter. We have to leave before something happens and either I try to kill that good for nothing lion or he tries to kill my family." She didn't speak the name but anyone who happened to be Denge or their children would know who she was talking about.
"I am sorry Tumai but what choice do I have? Live here, or be thrown out by the ones I called friends. Maji hates me, I don't know why. I was helping Laana, assisting her and because of that he hates me. I have heard rumours and I believe it not safe to stay somewhere that is turning out to be more of a hell then a paradise." As she finished her voice was raising and a snarl was crawling into her voice. Her son stayed behind her obediantly as she spoke the real reasons for their leaving.

Tumai blinked, a slightly confused frown slowly appearing on his face. "Her? Ithi, I don't understand. Where is the father of your cubs?" He was very open-minded and accepting, so he wasn't upset by the fact that Ithi was in a relationship with a female. What bothered him is that she had seemingly had sex with someone that wasn't her mate, and as a result, she had become pregnant.
"Oh Ithi..." A heavy sigh escaped his throat, coupled with the disappointment in his voice. "You always have a choice. There's no way Maji would order for you to be ejected, he just wouldn't." Clearly Tumai had was completely unaware of Maji's dark side, even though he had experienced a small amount of it when he had introduced Aleu to him. "Only outsiders are to be thrown out, and you have been a part of this Pride for longer than I have." His tone of voice remained the same throughout, although it was shifting more from disappointment to sadness.

Ithi sighed.
"They don't have a father. The three cubs I birthed were purely for me and Denge and they are our cubs, there is no father." She wasn't in the mood to fight anything but none of her cubs had seen their father or even questioned about him so he did not matter.
She sighed again as he spoke of Maji. "Tumai listen to me. Denge has the daughter of a horrible lion, Nyek, son of Rahima, remember him? He attacked Laana. Denge was raped by him, she won't even mention his name but little Ny is most definatly his daughter its unmistakable!" She paused for a bit before continuing.
"Maji hates Nyek and he hates me. If he saw Ny he would blame me, say she was a spy or something. Its understandable that he would, she lives with me. His dislike for me would blind him to anything else. I don't want to know what he would do to us if he ever met little Ny so you see, I am more of an outsider here then the ones who live here which is why we leave, so my family can be safe. Do you understand?" She looked desperate, she needed her brother to understand because she was taking away the family he couldn't get to know.

Tumai bit the bottom of his mouth, holding back what he wished to say. He didn't agree with what Ithi was telling him, but he accepted it. Clearly Ithi and Denge were in a relationship that was just as real as the relationship that he was in with Aleu, and since they couldn't concieve cubs together, who was he to say that they couldn't have cubs in this way? When he thought about it that way, there was very little he could do to criticise his sister.
His shoulders slumped slightly as Ithi went on. He remembered Nyek, of course he did. That rotten boy who was born in the same Crater as himself, to his mother's best friend. Of course, he never even imagined that the slightly nasty cub could grow up to do such an awful thing. "That's terrible." He muttered, shaking his head solemnly as he did so.
"I can understand why Maji would hate Nyek, but why you? That's the one thing I don't understand." He frowned lightly. "You helped that poor female, you did the right thing. I don't understand where this hatred could even come from." His gaze turned back to Ithi. "Are you sure you're not just being paranoid?" It wasn't that he doubted his sister, not really, but he just found it very difficult to believe that anyone at all could hate his sister, especially Maji. It wasn't something he really wanted to believe either, as he was unsure how he would react to it.

Ithi looked at her brother, why couldn't he just accept what she said?
She turned to her son and smiled at him, "Run ahead Dhar, see if you can find your sister and Denge or Ny and then run back to find me." She smiled and licked the boys head before he turned and did as he was asked.
She turned back and her face lost the motherly love and turned serious. "Laana asked me to fetch Nyek, I got him to take to Laana when he attacked her, I didn't intervene, it had nothing to do with me. I then had ago at Maji when he spoke of killing Nyek, Rahima has always been good to me, I don't know what effect it would have had and I refused to let someone hurt her, even if it meant letting the beast live." She paused and sighed.
"Ever since Maji is certain I am sticking up for Nyek, he returned here once, threatened me in several ways. Im not scared of him but when I gave Maji the news eventually he snapped and had ago at me again, yet I was giving him information. He hates me Tumai which is why I fear for my cubs and especially for Ny, she may be nothing like her father but she has his blood and that I worry about." She stopped talking, she couldn't explain anymore.

Tumai smiled slightly as the cub did as he was told. "It was nice meeting you Dhar." He called after him, his smile fading soon after. If Ithi was really going to go through with this, he may never get to see his nephew again.
As Ithi explained all that had happened, his expression changed constantly. He couldn't believe that Ithi would bring that horrid beast into the Valley, no matter what the reasoning. Then, he was proud that Ithi had attempted to change Maji's mind, for Rahima's sake. No doubt he would've done the same, had he been informed of Maji's plan to kill Nyek.
"He threatened you?" Tumai growled deeply, which was something he rarely ever did. "How dare he." His jade-coloured orbs flashed darkly. Nyek could've done anything to her, and instead of checking to see if she was alright, Maji had a go at her?
Shaking his head, Tumai sat himself down, sighing as he did so. "Maji knows that you're my sister. He should know that you have a good heart, and that you would never do anything to purposely endanger the Pride." He frowned, glancing over his shoulder towards the Valley. "I'm just shocked." He then quickly turned back to Ithi. "That doesn't mean you have to leave though!" Another rarity occured as Tumai raised his voice. "I could have a word with Maji, get everything straightened out. I'm sure he will listen to reason." His tone had shifted to desperation. "I don't want you to leave Ithi..."

Ithi sighed, yet again.
"Tumai, it won't make a difference, he hates me for helping Laana try and sort something out. He won't forgive me. I don't want to risk my children's lives, I am sorry." Nothing was going to make her sway from her decision.
"I have to find Fedah anyway, its just best if we all leave. Sorry Tumai, its for the best." She refused to admit that she was upset about leaving, she didn't want to leave, she loved this place but she would never get on with Maji.

Tumai was aware now that there was no stopping Ithi, but he couldn't help but give it one last try. "Please Ithi, don't go. I'm sure that if you just give me five minutes with Maji I can explain the reasoning behind what you did." That was all he could manage though, as he didn't want to push her, and he already knew that she wouldn't change her mind.
Solemnly, his gaze fell towards his paws. All he could do now was keep telling himself that it was indeed for the best, that Ithi and her offspring would be safer if they left the Valley. It was a hard thing to tell himself, but he would have to get used to it.
Finally, he lifted his head. "Where will you go?"

Ithi looked sharply at her brother, "You go talk to Maji about my reasoning and he will hate you to for the same reason." Her voice was harsher, she still occassionaly bossed Tumai about if she could, she was the eldest after all.
"I don't know where we will go Tumai, somewhere away from here is good enough for me." She sighed flicking her tail. "I have to go now Tumai, to find Denge and the other children. Goodbye Tumai." She knew in her heart that this probably would be the last time that she saw her brother.

Tumai frowned lightly at the thought of Maji hating him for defending his sister. Clearly he had been rather short-sighted in regards to Maji, and would have to be cautious next time he spoke with him. There was no way he would be able to let any of this go though, and so Maji would have to be approached sooner or later.
Still frowning, Tumai got to his feet and moved towards his sister. He was bigger than her now, and he could only breifly think back to a time when it was the other way round. His expression soon softened as he nuzzled against Ithi's cheek. "If you can, please send word once you've settled. That way I can come and visit you."
There was no way he was going to allow all that had happened to ruin the newly-reformed relationship he had with his sister, and he would do everything he possibly could to stay in contact.
