As a member of the old-skool Gay Guild on the forums, I created this guild so that none of the newer gay guilds would steal the name.

Yea i totally understand ^^ i work in ask the gay guys thread in general discussion, and really, some people come in with the dumbest questions...and we have to inform those people that gay guys cant just wake up and turn straight, and stuff like that. -shrugs-. and sometimes we have ppl come in going 'OMG YOUR GAY, EW EW EW EW!' those people are just stupid, cuz they dont even stay long enough to hear what we have to say (im a bi girl myself)

I joined becuase I'm a huge activist in my school and in the community ^_^ I love talking to people, and homosexuals are the funnest to watch...and plus they're all so cute! oh, I'm also gay.

I had no way to do any of that sort of thing while still in high school. The gay community is a couple of buildings scattered around downtown, and there are no community outreach plans. Even with the bathhouse raid last year (Goliath's), people in Calgary have just sort of ignored it. I'm also a member of the original Gay Guild thread! So much to take in with the new system... The reason why I joined is that sense of mutual understanding, there isn't much pretense and pretty much any topic is fair game. 3nodding

I joined because all I ever realy did on gaia "in general" is talk to my friends back in germany. then I found out some of my friends here use gaia too. and they told me about this guild. and sence I dont do anything but wait for emails from germany, I might as well meet people too. So I joined and i like it here. even though I get hounded for spelling all the time. 3nodding
