Well, the idea seemed to generate some interest (and I'm not the type to back down from running an RP), so I may as well pitch it here.
Concept: After Colony 195, a year of history well documented. For in that year, five young meteors fell to Earth, bringing with them the heart of peace, which was spread to the world by an angelic voice.
But...that was just one world.
Imagine if you will, another After Colony 195. In this version of reality, the weapons known as mobile suits have existed for longer, giving the Organization of the Zodiac the chance to train more and better pilots. The deadly Operation Meteor was averted this time as well, but the five youths were now older, with the innocence of childhood giving way to a more mature, worldly outlook. But most important of all, their decision to rebel did not go unpunished. For the man behind Operation Meteor had a contingency plan, which launched only a week after the original faltered.
After Colony 195...only a week has passed since that fateful day, and already everything is different.
Rules:
1) Everyone can play up to two characters. If you only want one, tho, that's fine.
2) You can choose to play someone from any official Gundam Wing media, but please keep them in character. Official (by my definition) is: Episode Zero, Gundam Wing (TV, manga, novel), G-Unit/Last Outpost, Tiel's Impulse, Blind Target, Battlefield of Pacifists, Endless Waltz. I would include the Duo sidestory novel, but I know next to nothing about it. Just remember that all the characters are a couple of years older, and have changed appropriately.
3) You can choose to be either Rebel, OZ, or Alliance. If you're a rebel, you'll probably have a stolen MS or a Cavalier (see next post). OZ has upgraded their basic machines, and just produced the Taurus.
4) There are five extra Gundams. These are based off of the five from the show, but are different. (For example, your machine could be based off of Shenlong, but be made for underwater battle). If you choose one of these five, your character will probably be working for Dekim, assigned to capture the boys' Gundams.
5) If you want to play a gay character, I'm okay with that, but please be warned that you can't expect the person you're interested in to feel the same way (just like real life). For example, I'll be playing Heero, and he will be straight. If that offends any potential Duo players, I'm sorry, but that's how it goes.

New MS
Cavalier: A machine made by the rebels, it's based closely off the Leo, with only a few basic changes (such as a head that looks somewhat Gundam-y). It was made to be cheap and basic, but to allow rebel groups to make their own MS. It's actually inferior to the original Leo, but easy to make. It uses any of the Leo's non-beam weapons as well as a metal longsword, since it can't power beam weapons.
Leo Kai: An improved version of the basic Leo, it can now function in space without an extra backpack. It is also slightly better than the original Leo in all areas. It has vulcan machineguns in the forearms, a bigger shield with long-handled beam sabers and grenade launchers, and a backpack-mounted missile launcher, and can use any of the Leo's hand weapons.
Aries Kai: Improved from the original, the Aries can fight better on the ground while featuring better speed and attack. It mounts machineguns in the shoulders as well as missile launchers and beam cannons on the wings, and can carry a chainrifle or a beam rifle.
Tragos Kai: OZ's ground combat MS, improved. It is permanently a hover unit, but has better armor and ranged ability. It has shoulder machineguns, beam cannons on the back, missiles on the hover unit, a Gatling gun on the left arm and two beam guns on the right.
Pisces Kai: The new underwater MS, also modified, with better speed and armor. It has torpedoes and missile launchers, as well as two large anti-ship missiles. Its propeller blades can heat up, making it better at close combat.

Description: A tall, 24 year old woman at 5'11", and posessing the build of an experienced soldier. She has a narrow face, set with navy blue eyes, and a longish nose, constantly in something resembling various forms of scowling, grimacing, glaring, etc. She has close cropped dark brown hair framing this all. She isn't particularly attractive in any way, but is also not unattractive - very plain in general. She wears standard OZ military dress when on duty, and her casual clothing consists of plain t-shirts, jeans, and boots.
Personality: Taking hard-nosed to a new level, she is very uptight in general. Extremely strict and by-the-books on duty, and this carries over to her attitude off duty. She has few friends, and most new soldiers learn to steer clear of her bad temper.
History: For the most part, she was just another soldier doing her duty until OZ saw her talent as a MS pilot and recruited her. Her official rank is Lieutenant, and she leads a squadron of Aries Kai units in combat.
MS: Aries Kai. Carries beam rifle as main weapon, and she added Gundanium combat knives, stored on the mobile suit's hips.

Preventer Void Totally okay to play a famous person, but try to consider how different they would be because they're a couple of years older. I doubt a 21 year old Une in OZ will differ from a 19 year old one seeing as her character design and actions make her seem like she's in her late twenties to early thirties...

He wears a skin tight black undershirt which runs down into sleeves that cut off at his wrists and give way to black leather gloves. His pants are made of the same black material but are a bit baggier with straps fitted along his calf muscles and the sections above his knees. He wears a long white trench coat which he never buttons in the front, allowing it to sway randomly. It's torn and frayed along the bottom due to it's length, but now hangs just above the ground. Personality: Seig is slightly arrogant and cocky. He is very capable of being one of the best mobile suit pilots and he knows it, thus causing him to push away the important things and make mistakes in his judgment. He also has a strong desire to protect people, although due to his extreme love of being the best, he puts the ones he cares about in danger, those people being only his young sister and whoever he decides are his friends. History: Seig used to work for a Mobile Suit Testing Facility on his home colony. He Was ranked as the second best pilot only to his best friend up until the point of his accident. During the testing of a new prototype mobile suit, the lost control and destroyed a section of the colony. The nuclear powered mech project and Seig were released from the colony. After this, he traveled with a group of people who stole mobile suits from seperate facilities and made their way to earth where they set out on their own to create a new life for themselves, taking only what they needed to survive and defend themselves. After a year with the rebel group, they recieved word that an old mobile suit facility was found. Upon arriving and extracting the mobile suits found there, Seig obtained his own specialy suited Mobile suit. The Mobile suit was in terrible condition but repairable. history: raised on the streets with a band of theives. worked in electronics, then decided to join the Rebels.
MS: Chaos Gambit (does mostly close-up fighting, using a sword or a scythe.)

Description: catherine usually when not dressed up in costume on stage performing wears blue jeans and a silky top or bra depending on the weather and the season. Trowa Barton with his usual lightblue jeans or gray slacks and either a white t-shirt or his blue green turtleneck
Personality:catherine is still very outgoing and protective of her brother and is still as much for peace as she always has been. Trowa barton, having settled into normal life still keeps his standard coldness about him.
History: catherine grew up in the circus. Trowa barton, famous from the war and the endless waltz has been a pilot and a soldier all his life now is makinga living as a circus performer.
MS: catherine doesn't but now has knowlege on how to handle one. Trowa wants to rebuild heavyarms.

Description: Raven Black Hair with bangs hanging over left eye, Icy Blue eyes, cacasiun [sp?] male, Black zip up hoody with a red dragon on the back, blue gothic style jeans, silver and black sports watch, red and black sneakers, red bandanna tied around forehead.
Personality: Quiet, and a very good tactician.
History: Not much is known about the pilot, just that he nevers talk much, but can get himself out of most situations.
MS: "Black Wing Zero Custom": A mobile suit based off the Wing Zero Custom's design, and was painted midnight black to give distinguish it from it's predocessor. It's arsenal consist's of the usual weapons found on the Wing Zero Custom, but with a few additions. It has a twin barreled gatling cannon (like those found on the heavy arms custom from GW:EW), and a copy of the Epyon gundam's beam saber and heat rod.
