I suppose one can say in this game, there are what appears to be two main types of strategies that influence how one plays the game: working alone versus being in an alliance(s).
Working alone means you need to stay out of any noticeable attention unless you don't want to look suspicious (and sometimes the reverse; it appears to depend on circumstance). Alliances however seem more built upon protecting eachother and "sheeping" other users in an effort to do whatever objective the alliance has.
So here's my question for you guys:
What strategy do you guys tend to go with? Working together in an alliance or working alone? Care to share why you use which strategy in this game?
Or if you would not like to discuss that-
What do you believe are the pros and cons to working alone and/or working together with alliances in the process of playing the GCSG game?
Hope you guys enjoy this topic. ^___^

I tend to work on individual levels with some players...exchanging tender information that would spoil if left to the public too early. Official alliances can have dire consequences because if they don't work...you eventually have to backstab your fellow
As for voting, I ignore sheeps/organized outruling, and just go for who I think is most suspicious. Or...random if I don't think anyone's suspicious ^^;

Weeeell... Since its my first time playing, I teamed up with someone I trust. ALOT. I think its good to team up, because then, you have a greater chance of finding out who the killer is. If of course, your allies aren't lying with you. xD

I've always worked with at least one other person in every game. It just seems more fun to be working with a friend. Sometimes I deal with a big alliance, sometimes only one person. It depends. However alliances can be big pains at times. Like my first alliance. That one got me jailed. Other times alliances will turn on you which sucks. There are lots of pros and cons. However, I am more for alliances then against. Its just more fun for me, even if its bad strategy at times.

I guess I work alone, more than willing to join alliances though, since this is only my second game, whether it's against/with the killers. If anyone were to ask to alliance with me, I'd put complete trust in them, if they break my trust, no big loss, I know better for next time.

Yes, the weak will cower while the fittest will survive If we wait for the darkest hourI'm not into alliances anymore. I DID ally with Shoy and Mori, and through them Hirun, but Shoy played me like an idiot. >__> And it was UNCOOL. IT MADE ME FRUSTRATED, BECAUSE I JUST KNEW IT ALL ALONG THAT HIRUN WAS TEH SNIPARZ. DDDD: Till we spring alive Then with claws of fire, we devour like a falcon in the dive...

I stay a loner, out of drama, vote each day, and basically, I just hang out around the Sniped D. I'm suspicious, yet I'm not. It works.

Well, to be honest, I don't really know how I would normally play. XDa The first game I was in, I was the sniper, and the second I was the first person killed. But when I was the sniper, I guess I worked with an alliance, if you consider MTX and the people he recruited.
However, if anyone is interested in pulling me into any kind of alliance, I would be glad to hear it! ^^b

Its easy to survive without an alliance, but not as much fun 3nodding Sometimes. Maybe. xd

At least for me. I guess its a pretty personal thing, some people have more fun with alliances, some people dont. It just depends on the person. And the alliance. Some alliances can flat out fail and its better to work alone. Some are awesome. It all depends.

I definitely recommend working alone. Alliances can betray you when you least expect it, and people you once thought were friends could become mortal enemies. Figuratively speaking of course.
I'll be working alone next game. That's for certain.
