A poem about the Eragon series, a bit dark I know, but I was bored.
The battle won
Blood repaid
Siphiria lying in the dust
all hope washed away
Eragons gaze on Siphiria
Showing broken heart,
and full of pain
Goes to Murtague and confronts him
his mind filled with rage
Shouting
Is this, is this really what's best?
He goes to the hall of Galbitorix
Pleading for his mercy
Galbitorix eyes him
with an uncaring stare
Then draws his sword and slays him
no questions asked
or called for
The moon sets
the sun rises
a blood red dawn
As the whole of Aligasia
weeps for Siphiria
and Eragon
I know there's those of you who think killing off eragon is a crime, but the poem itself is dark, and needed darkness in it.
