The little white maned wolf passed unknowingly into the pridelands, having wandered from his mother's den at the edge of the jungle and managing to get himself all the way over by the lands ruled over by Mufasa and Sarabi. Although he didn't know where he was, nor had he ever heard of the king or queen. Beluwa's family was only big on weird religions, or so was his opinion. He furled his brow and bounded towards a little tree, leaping onto a branch and hanging onto it with his front legs over it. Whimpering a bit, the pup pulled himself onto the branch, sitting oddly against the trunk of the tree and staring out across the lands. "This place looks boring." He said quietly, moving to scratch behind his ear, the pup forgot that he was in a tree, and went careening to the ground, landing in a heap with a thud. "Ouch...." He moaned, "Stupid tree." He finished, growling and using his hind legs to kick dirt at it.

Not far away, another small white figure had wandered away from her parents' den and was now stalking her way through the pridelands, searching for some unfortunate creature to satisfy her saddistic nature. In her wake she had left a trail of trodden grass and bits of bugs she had found along the way and dismembered for her twisted pleasure.
Red eyes scanned the earth and the sky, tail flicking behind her as slunk through the grass. If only she could find something bigger, something with more blood, something that...could lose it's head. >)

Beluwa sat up and looked around again, this time spotting a little white feline. "Ewwww. A lion." He said, poking his tongue out and frowning. The pup had learned from his father, although it wasn't a good thing in this case. His father was such a pessimist and it had defiantely rubbed off on the pup. Although the little male had managed to develop his own habits as well, including masochism and sadism. He glowered in the direction of the lion cub, and gave a little growl, standing and staring at her coldly. After examining her for a moment, the black and white wolf grinned. She looked positively evil. Maybe wolves could get along with lions after all...

something moving in the grass ahead caught her attention, her eyes lighting with sadistc glee. Her target was clearly bigger than a bug, perhaps some small mammal or bird who had fallen from it's nest and lost it's way, how delightful.
Crouching, the young hunter stalked, small talons and fangs barred for the strike. Her unfortunate victim would soon find it'd lost much more than it's way home.

Beluwa growled louder as he heard rustling, watched the grass move aside for the little lioness. "You don't have to sneak up on me, cat, I know you're there." He said boredly, reclining to his haunches and waiting for her to pounce him. He may as well let her do as she pleased, he wouldn't mind if she tore him up a little anyways. Just more to scare his silly sisters with. He giggled for a moment and then riased his hackles, staring ahead at the grass that had been moving a moment ago, but was now stationary. Laying himself down in the grass, not croughing, just being casual, the little white pup continued to wait for her to pounce, give up, whatever. Either way, he still wanted to meet her, even if it were to be at her little claws. He liked the fact that she looked like the spawn of pure evil.

The huntress snarled, talons flexing irritablly to scar the earth beneath her paws. So he had seen her, well no matter, she didn't need surprise to take down her prey.
With a growl, she charged forward, small legs propelling her forward like springs, her talons and fangs bared for the strike. Several strides later, she lept, pouncing viciously at the white pup, her intention to pin him under her talons, something she took great pleasure in.
"That won't save you!"

Beluwa grinned as she pounced him, giggling a little as her claws dug into his flesh. "Who said I wanted to be saved?" He growled, batting at her muzzle, then kicking her off and getting up, shaking himself and staring at her. "You're no good at hunting, are you?" He teased, licking his shoulder, that was now bleeding a little from the lioness' claws. He glared at her for a moment before lifting his paw and licking it, then shaking himself again and staring at her, head cocked curiously.

The young predator spoke with a sneer on her maw, barred fangs emphasising each word.
"I don't need to hunt to catch my prey."
Casually she sat back on her haunces, one paw raised, rough tounge dancing her her talons to taste the blood that had stained them, a vampiric grin touching her muzzle at the sweet metallic taste. So this is how the blood of a warm-blooded mortal tasted, it was intoxicating.
But not she looked at the pup with a morbid and wicked curiousity. Such interesting markings; he looked as if one push would send his head rolling of his neck and across the dusty ground, how delightful.

She looked....so evil. He grinned again and nodded at her. "Fine...But I bet I could hunt better than you." He taunted, wagging his little black and white tail and staring her in the eyes. He blanked out for a moment, pictures of her batting at the side of his head bemusedly filled his mind before his vision came back. Beluwa shook his head furiously, wondering why those images had been there a moment ago, and then dismissed the visions and giggled insanely. "My father is mean and evil, he's taught me how to be just like him, y'know." He boasted, "And my name means trouble." The little pup added to his words, wagging his tail again and staring at her some more.

Her maw parted just enough to bare a menacing fang. Her brother would have been enraged by the insolent runt's tone, but Kali merely laughed, a chilling, bone-piercing laugh of a demon.
"And I bet I could snatch your head right off your neck. What a lovely river of blood you would make then."
Stalking several steps, circling, and then closing the distance between herself and the pup, she poked at the marks around his neck with a sharp talon, as if testing how firmly his head was attached.
"My father is a god."

Beluwa giggles again as she spoke. She did seem angry....he loved it. And such wonderful ideas she put into his head, "Blood is such a wonderful thing, isn't it?" He grinned, not so much as wincing at her little pokes. "You're a mean little kitty aren't you?" He taunted, waggling his tail and standing, then moving away from her. "A God? That's sure impressive." He said, a slight fiery flicker in his dull gray eyes. "If you really wanna, you can try to take it off. I don't mind pain..." He grinned, laying his ears back and letting his tongue flop a little out of his mouth. He wagged his tail again and raised a brow at her, in challenge, then licked his lips briefly and reclined again to his haunches, staring at her interestedly.

A surprisingly malicious growl rumbled in the lioness, maw parted menacingly, dark talons brandished with a raised paw, prepared for a sharp, and hopefully painful strike. But she paused, eyes narrowed, tail flicking behind her in irritation. Something wasn't right here, and the cub didn't like it.
What was the point in sadistic evil if your victim actually -enjoyed- it? If there was no terror and suffering to inflict, where was the thrill? How disgusting and disappointing. So eager to inflict pain before, the the cub had lost interest in the pathetic creature before her.
"You disgust me."
With a snear, she lashed out once in her hellish fury, talons slashing at her target before turning with a flick of her tail, intent on continuing her search for a more enjoyable target, one that would scream beautifully under her sadistic torments. Stupid mutt, what a waste of time.

Beluwa sat and stared at her as she stewed in her anger, grinning at her smartly. "Cat got your tongue?" He inquired, just before she said that he disgusted her. Now that was something the little white pup was used to, others not wanting him, or beind appalled by him. He simply would have shrugged it off if she hadn't attacked him. He gave a small whimper, then giggled quietly as her claws met his flesh. "See you later kitty cat." He taunted, lifting a paw to wipe some blood from his cheek, then licking his paw tenderly, letting the bitter, metallic taste of his own blood sit on his tongue for a moment before swallowing it, then standing and looking at his side. "Hmmm. Those oughta leave nice scars..." He trailed off, grinning. Beluwa wagged his tail and then turned in the other direction. Uncle Usu would be able to clean the cuts up for him...
