The sun was warm on the outskirts of the elephant graveyard and a large dusty black female hyena lay sprawled out like a cat sunbathing itself. She pressed her claws into the dirt rutting around quietly. Today was a busy day she had met quite a few people to join to her pack, but still it felt empty there were no adults, all pups.
There was no need for her to fret, the goddess voice in her mind had said soon she would be flooded with followers, and this terrified Lamyae. She was no leader, she could talk and tell others of her views and what she believed the goddess wanted with her and others. But leading many...how was that supposed to work?
"Help me, my lovely mother," she whispered and closed her silver eyes, trying her best to enjoy the sun. (posting order: Tisi FC Baney??)

Padding away from the lands filled with hatred, Bacia found herself face to face with an adult hyena, and one that was not her mother nor her father. Frowing to herself, she just looked on with a blank maw, pushing the frown away to just don her new emotionless mask.
Moving closer, she perked a lone ear at the words of the other, before raising a brow and letting out a soft cough.
"No one is here but you and me..." Her soft words echoed out along the spance, before she padded past the female and turned to look at her eye to eye.

Bacia's words were not exactly true it seemed, there /was/ someone else there other than herself and Lamyae, however Ere had no intention of making himself known just yet, he lurked nearby, immoving and sprawled in the scattered shadows of an upturned rib cage, his stripes the most ideal camoflage for the location. He had both ears perked and was listening intently for now to what was said.
The outskirts were still Maziko territory for the most part, so he felt no shame in eavesdropping on the two.

Her eyes flew open and she came face to face with the brown young hyena, her heart pounding in her chest, quickly she tried to regain her composure, but unlike this little one she was not an emotionless mask.
"There are many people here besides you and me! Why, look there are bugs and... well..." She paused there was no need to bring in the goddess to the young hyena yet, let her test out the waters. "I am Lamyae, who are you?" Her voice was not firm or unwavering she felt small all of a sudden.
She stood and clumps of dirt clung to her fur and her paws were stained brown from running her claws in the ground. What to say next? she thought, her own inner voice questioned. It was nice not to feel the foreign...thing inside of her.
"Sorry, that was rude," she bowed curtly and looked down at the small female. She did not sense her coming and this made her feel even more anxious and her heart pounded all the harder.

The younger hyena just blinked up towards the adult with solid red eyes, one brow raising slowly through the rambles. It took all of her control to not just roll her eyes and turn away, for the female was a bit of a crazy if there ever was one.
"Bacia." She said simply in a huff, as if she were thinking it over and decided she might as well say her name. Which was true in essence. Than, she looked over the form of the dark female, let out a sigh, and slowly settled on her haunches.
"Bug will not answer you, Lamyae was it?" She than searched around and dragged a bug over through the dirt, tossing it into the air and expertly catching the small thing on her paw. Before it could move, she moved onto her hind legs in the same seated position and squished the bug with her other paw, pulling away both to let it fall to the ground.
"The only thing they are good for is squishing." Her youthful ideals were washed away with such a mature seriousness that it made the whole joke quite dark indeed.

"They're still the goddess's making, why would you want to take out a life?" She quirked a brow looking at the young hyena, something was certainly off about this little one, but then again others had said the same thing to her, "Bugs are still life, and birds, zebras, lions...?"
She sighed softly and scanned the area for a moment to see if there were any other creatures, but she saw none, a few vultures and of course the bugs.

Curiousity set into Bacia's gaze, and she resisted the urge to verbally question the female's sanity. Instead, she just shook her short tuff of mane and rubbed her paw against the ground, standing and looking at the marred white pelt with disgust. Now she would need to wash it again. Of all the things that bothered her the most, it was the vibrant white pelt that insisted to always be dirty.
"Killing one bug does not make a difference, there will be hundreds more to replace it by the fall of the sun," Bacia explained gravely, speaking slowly as if conversing with a clueless child, "As those lions always say, it is the circle of life, I am merely assisting it in moving faster." With that, she finally let out a smirk.

"So if right now I decided to kill you?" She chuckled, "There are what seems like hundreds of pups to replace you." It was the same in Lamyae's mind, she had seen many pups and little to no adults, of course as these little ones grew it would even out.
"I am the leader of Thr Mwangaza movement, we are a peaceful pack that wish to make contact and have a treaty of peace with the lions...what do you think of that?" Bacia had mentioned the lions, might as well bring this up in conversation.
You'll get this one..it will be hard..she's stubborn, but you will, her inner voice whispered.

Another blink as her smirk faded just slightly, and Bacia rolled her eyes soon after. About to turn and pad away from the annoying adult, the female suddenly spoke up once again and had Bacia's ears perking.
A pack she said, that was something Bacia had not heard from. Suddenly her conversation with the blue hyena became apparent, and she turned back towards Lamyae with a sort of bored look.
"I could care less about lions, just as I would think they care less about me. As long as they stick their noses out of my business, I shall not bat an eye at theirs." It made enough sense.

Lamyae sighed, the voice was right this one was going to be hard, but as the hyena was about to leave she turned right back.
"That is good though, do they not deserve the same respect we do? They leave us alone, we leave them? That's what The Mwangaza want, to be left alone and allowed to leave when they want..." Lamyae forced out the sentences quickly in hopes to still capture the younglings attention.
The dusty black hyena had only one mission, preach, she was like a man standing on as corner shouting of the end of the world, it may seem pointless, but one maybe two will listen. she scratched at her left ear, which always seemed to be a problem, she had mites, and a pretty bad case, but she was not about to evict the little creatures.
