Do you think that playing Halo while on certain substances helps or hinders you?
I know cocain helps you fight in real life because you don't feel pain.
When you just smoked weed and try to play Halo you are so slow yo udon't know whats going on.
But I have like an after-high right now, just a chill I get the day after and I put on some chill music, turned the tv volume off and the mic off and started playing a beat down game and kept getting kill frenzies and stuff.
What's your opinion on it?

A lot of people don't play under the Influence, but depending on the substance and what you play while on it, it can affect your playing. For instance, marijuana makes me really alert (paranoid, more of eek ), so if I'm playing a snipers game I can track somebody's head REALLY easily, like in a fraction of a second I can find their head, and in another shoot them there. But then the affects of it wear off and I get depressed and stop playing for the rest of the day, which in my opinion is the only downside to it.

Never tried it... but depends... alcohol is a depressent, slowing things down for you a whole lot, impairing you playing. I agree with Frost on the Marijuana part. And... uhh... yeah

Depressent and stimulant don't have much to do with video games unless your like almost falling asleep or really hyped up.
But marijuana has been known to help your focus for a while.
Once you get into the groove of marijuana you'll start killing people while dancing and laughing.
Alchohol messes your vision up so you don't know whats happening but you just cuss people out (unless your a happy drunk person).
LSD would probably make Halo scary.

I've never done drugs so I couldn't tell you but I would say hallucinogens would improve your performance the most becasue they release the indorfants into your bloodstream that could potentially increase your playing ability

Well, it has nothing to do with substances but.. I think lack of sleep helps. I just pulled an all-nighter and got 29 and 0 my first game, but it was only Team Training.
