Okay this isn't exactly a poem.. well I think it is but Im not sure, anyway, please tell me what you think
The protection you give without saying a word
I feel as though nothing can hurt me
the world doesn’t exist, nothing can be heard
Except the feelings within my heart
I lay in your arms
The world stops
The warmth and the love
Flows out of your hands and straight into my heart
My soul soars to the heavens
I don’t know if you feel the same as me
I look in your eyes and I’m sure you do
But doubts fill my mind
How could anyone feel as I do?
To feel weakness in the knees just when I see your face
To feel the butterflies when you smile at me
The have the smile on my face when you call my name
It all means one thing hunny
I don’t know if you know what it is
I know I do
I haven’t felt like this for anyone before
You are the only one and I’m going to make sure it stays that way
I m not leaving you for anything
For if I lost you I would become lost myself
I can’t survive without you
If you disappeared I would lose half of myself
We are made for each other
You know It and I know it
Now we just have to make the rest of the world realise it
