Just like any other game that's got an anticipating audience, I'm going to maintain this first post with updates like they do in the official Tales of Forums with Tales of the Abyss or whatnot. ^^ Let's pretend it's like... real or something... whee If you want to add stuff to this post, lemme know. Oh, and PrincessAurion Productions (PAP) is my youtube/animating studio's name. ^^
Okay!
Tales of a High School has been announced and is in development, but there is no set date for its release to the public anywhere worldwide.
It's in the hands of PrincessAurion Productions, and it's the first game to be made under this name. They've dabbled in basic animating and dubbing, and made games back under the name of Rurouni Studio. The biggest achievement there was Luna and Sol, and RP about lovers that were really reflections of someone else. *shrug*
Story revealed thus far:
A side plot of the famous RP story told from Randi's POV. Martel sensed the mana in Symphonia went out of control and sent the cast to Asacantha, a world created out of the leftovers of other worlds. Much of the cast appears, but there are only a few player characters for certain right now. It seems to be set a year after the story started.
RANDI

AGE: 16
RACE: Half-Elf
CLASS: Mage/Sonstress
WEAPON: Spatula/Magic/Song Mana
Randi is the older of the twin daughters to Yuan and Martel, protected from birth by her guardian angel Kratos. Her mannerisms mirror her mother, and she also adopted powerful destructive magic. A new skill set of songs not mentioned in the RP is also part of Randi's ability list. She seems less confident than in the story, though. What happened since Symphonia fell through?
KRATOS

AGE: 28 ninja
RACE: Human
CLASS: Magical Swordsman/Angel
WEAPON: Sword
Kratos has been assigned to guard Randi through thick and thin, and this he has done her entire life. He carries a sword in battle and knows basic magic, but now he's learning more and more angel techniques!!
CHRIS
Race: Half-elf
Class:Half angel, half demon swordsman. Also casts some spells.
Weapons: Sword, shield.
A once-homeless boy who takes friendship as the most import thing in the world-- Even higher than his own life.
EMILY

AGE: 16
RACE: Half-Elf
CLASS: Weapons Expert [Swordsman]
WEAPON: Scythe, Daggers, anything.
Emily is the younger of the twin daughters to Yuan and Martel, protected from birth by her guardian angel Capricorn. Unlike her sister, she is very free-minded, and easily trusts people with her life. Capricorn and Yuan trained her, and she is now an able weapons specialist, with the ability to use basic wind and lightning-based attacks. [VERY basic.] Emily has the ability to use telepathy, and to read other being's thoughts and emotions, which comes in handy at some times.
GWIN

AGE: 14
RACE: Human
CLASS: Summoner
WEAPON: Magic Book for smacking things. Current one formerly belonged to Klarth.
Gwin is a normal human girl who willingly gets caught up in all of this. She has low self-esteem, and constantly doubts herself. Since she is only human, the only way she can help out in fighting is through summoning. Klarth is teaching her, and she vows to get better and prove herself to him, and everyone else, too.
RIN
Age:13
Race:Human
Class: Combat mage
Weapon:Martial Arts and magic
Rin is very sweet and sensitive towards everyone that she cares about. However, when angry, she'll take out all of her negative energy on anything that attacks her with a passion. She has a Cruxis crystal that gives her magic attacks, but when all else fails, a kick to the face serves her well. She also values everyone as good friends and will do anything to prevent them from getting hurt.

There is a random battle system, four characters per battle. Highest Level possible: 50 The combat is set up like that of Dragon Warrior/Quest VII from the PSX.
STORY UPDATE!
Randi and Kratos crash land together in a forest located on Asacantha. They band together and hike off, looking about the place to find out what's going on. Along the way to the castle of the contient, Randi finds Arche! She hands over a special key item and leaves in search of Yuan. In Castle Foresta, they find Emily, who was apparently rescued by a Prince of Asacantha named Phillip before Randi and Kratos arrived. The group meets with the Prince and he tells exactly what is going on with the world which sounds extremely similar to Mithos' plan to revive Martel.

Yeeeeeaaahhhh.... They actually do that? *twitches slightly*
I think it'd be similar to phantasia, or maybe Legendia, no, scratch that, Symphonia, OH FORGET IT! Maybe a combination of all three. I think there would probably be A Randi and Kratos path, A Rin and Chris Path, A Summoner's Path((If Nyu ever returns...)) A Sly path, ((Got this idea from Suzu on Phantasia.)) Etc., Etc. And, it would be similar to the Lord of The Rings: Return of the King game, where you choose a path, and it would eventually shape up to look like the Yggdrassil Tree, like it looked like the White Tree in TLOTR. And so far, the only noticable boss would probably be the Remiel Fight, as far as I can remember. Yeah, that about sums up my idea. I know, it sucks. Comprised on the spot. Whoopdee-flippin' doo. xd EDIT: Oh, and that Neblim fight early on. That's a boss fight, too.

That seems like a good plan. We can probably use those guidelines and make it up as we go. Anyway, I've been wondering where some of the other characters went? I mean, some of the players haven't updated in a long time and I was curious.

I'm not patronizing anyone, and I don't mean to be. I'm sorry if I offended anyone. It's just that, I miss the characters. They were really cool. I know everyone has their own reasons for not updating, but I just missed everyone, that's all. Sorry if I made you mad.

I was thinking of it kinda like the setup of Star Ocean 2 or Fire Emblem 8.
You either pick one path or the other and some characters are available on one path or the other. I mean, look at SO2. If you play as Reina, you can get Dias, but if you play with Claude, it's the only way to get Ashton.
It would certainly be good for replay value and you could see the story from another side. That's what I loved about FE8!

Wanted to, tried to buy one, was too poor. So I'm completely lost on the subject of those games. Actually, I saw someone play SO2 once. But they wouldn't let me play it. *Glares*

The turned Star Ocean 2 into an anime called Star Ocean EX. <3 It turned out really well, but they never completed it.
WHAAAA? You haven't played either one?
Hey, help me find some character sprites of the ToS characters for RPG maker 2000 and I'll turn this RP into a game of sorts for you guys.

OKAY, guys. I am starting a MASSIVE (I'm talking huge here) project involving the ToHS project. I've found original character sheets for ToS and ToP's main cast. ^o^ Namely all nine heroes in ToS PLUS Arche and Klarth of ToP (I can get more like Cress and Mint, but they aren't here. Oro.) So. Using a character generator I've just discovered, I'm making the main cast for a ToHS related game. Now I'm not sure how in detail I can go yet. But I know this system really really well. It's RPG Maker 2000. I learned to use it in high school, taught by one of my best friends. I am turning this into a game. WHAT I NEED YOU TO DO: if you'd like you character to participate is to go to the site: http://charas-project.net/charas2/index.php?lang=en&generator=2 and make a set of your character's expressions. EDIT 2: It won't really be about the events that have all ready happened, because I don't have ToS chipsets and they don't exist as they are for a completely different graphical system. HOWEVER, it is set in another world called Asacantha, which is a fantasy style typical world, with the different regions and the like, but there is a Tower of Salvation. This is my plan. It starts out with stating the fact that we aren't in Sylvarant, Tethe'alla, OR Earth. We are in a completely original world (that I have been writing for another story, but it still works). Everyone in the RP fell through because the mana in Symphonia was too imbalanced and Martel, to keep everyone alive, sent them to Asacantha, as it was the closest world on the astral plane. I'm making it from my OC/Kratos' POV. We go to different towns and stuff and end up meeting different RP characters like Emily, Gwin, Em, Zelos, Klarth, Arche, whomever... and they can join, depending on what's going on. It's basically an open ended situation due to the party set up. There are so many RP characters, I would have to make 10 versions of the same game for everyone to see it via their POV. If you want the program to make your own version and the chipsets for the ToS/ToP characters, tell me. I can give it to you and provide you plenty of pretty links. ^.^ The plot will be kinda weird, because there is only so much you can do with an RPG maker engine.
