Seveile gurgled to herself, a tiny fist shoved into her mouth, drool dripping down her chin. Occasionally a little squeal would come from the girl, and her dreads would wiggle around, poking Kappa in the chin.
He was carrying her in a sling of sorts, but she was strapped to his chest instead of slung down around his side. He was wearing his headphones as usual, humming to himself softly. He kept them around his neck these days, and kept the volume up so that Sev could hear what he was playing too. He thought it was good to expose her to different music at a young age. There was even some classical music thrown in there for good measure.
Today, they were heading to the mall so that Kappa could buy Sev some new clothes. She'd completely trashed the ones he'd gotten for her, staining them enough so that the food never quite came out...She was a picky eater, oh yes...
Poor Kappa. Iamel was, once more, under child-watching. He had Kian on one hip and Yashi trailing after them rather silently. The fox child was in a grumpy mood today - best not toy with him too much. Kian, however, was in a decent sort of view, feet kicking out happily from his position on his brother.
His dreams had failed to exist the night before - he'd slept through the entire nine hours. On a whole, Kian was pleased. Even his tail kept flexing in a curious, smug manner, webbed fingers petting along Iamels tri-colored hair.
"Kiaaaaaan.." The bird whined, frowning over at the child, "Stop it! We're here to get you some more pants.. Rothe ripped your last ones open, remember?"
"Roffe bad." He grumped in return, bristling a little.

As Sev stared off into space, totally oblivous to where they were and why they were there, Kappa walked past a man with a baby and another child who had fox-like features. Another single father eh? Kappa could relate.
He gave the man a grin and a nod. "What's up? Looks like you've got quite the handful eh?"
Sev reached out toward the man and his boys, grasping into thin air as if she was trying to grab onto something. She squeaked and stuck a finger up her nose, not bothering to be socially appropriate.
Irlan was wondering why he was back at the Mall. Hadn't he had enough of this labyrinth-like building? Ah yes, that's right, it's all her fault. He thought as he glared at the red-headed woman walking beside him.
"I'll be in the department store, you have my cellphone if you need anything." Huni instructed as she set off with her little girl in tow.
Malas was sleeping in the straps attached to Irlan, her head bent forward as she snored in rare contentment.
It wasn't so much a man as a struggling, ten year old boy. He was struggling with his two little brothers - Yashi liked to wander and Kian liked to spit - and while he HAD grown...
"Nn. Catbitch is making me get them new clothes." The bird grunted slightly, quinting up at the other. "And Kian likes to chew on or spit on my hair. Despite being a formerly grown man on another planet who killed people, he's not a very bright baby."
"Anne too!" The crimminal growled, writhing in Iamels arms, "Anne too a bright!"

Realizing that the 'man' he'd seen was much younger than he looked from afar ((:Xp smile ), Kappa's eyes widened slightly. Wow, he's young to have so many kids... Kappa was a little slow on the uptake every now and then.
"Catbitch? That's some strong language you're using there," he said, giving Iamel a teasing finger waggle. Sev just copied his actions, waggling her finger along with him, as if she was trying to reinforce Kappa's point. "Just kidding. I'm messing with ya'."
He looked down at Sev, who was now covered in drool. "I need to get her some clothes too. She ruins them constantly." He sighed and looked past the boy to see yet another man approaching. It seemed he had a baby strapped to himself as well. It was like a single-dad's club at the mall today, he thought. Good thing he wasn't alone.
Iamel appeared much larger from further away, being crawled on by a child and speaking to his siblings like a parent would. Through the whole dilema, the little kid had grown...well, out of his body. He acted more like a teen then just a child.
"It's what I call my Shiniees...friend." He blinked, lips peeling into a further grin. This one wasn't snarling at him for his language. Not bad. "S'no problem. We don't mean it insultingly, although people usually see it like that." He shrugged, glancing to the side.
"Want me to show you where you can find some decent stuff? They have s**t for tails and extra limbs and stuff. S'where we get Kians jeans."
Irlan knew no one in Gaia aside from Sissi and Haze's household. Frankly, it didn't bother him that he had no group to just loiter around with, and though he was purposely ignoring some of the people's odd stare at the violet-skinned child he couldn't help but notice the pair surrounded by kids.
"I see someone got stuck with baby sitting duty." He snickered as he walked towards them.
Malas continued to snore, twitching every so often.

Kappa heard the man's babysitting crack as he walked up to the group. "Yeah, looks like we're all a bunch of kid sitters today," he sighed, his face looking a bit weary. Sev kept him up most nights...He usually napped on his lunchbreak at work, so he could get in a little extra sleep here and there. "Nice to meet you both."
"I'm Kappa," he introduced himself, extending a hand to the boy-man and the man-man. "And this is Seveile." The baby just stared, her gaze blank and a bit unnerving. He addressed the boy again. "Does your friend approve of their nickname?" he chuckled, giving the boy a nod. "And yeah, Anywhere that has clothes that allow for wings would be good...She doesn't like them all cramped up inside her shirt. I just cut holes usually. It works."
