The day was going towards night, and Ta'Ziyan decided it was time for one last trip to the watering hole. Usually, he met pridemember there, but today he seemed to just forget until the last moment. And so, as he padded down the stone steps and towards the water. Kami was still up near the rock, and he was antsy to get back and just cuddle with her, though he wouldn't admit that to anyone but her. He was smitten, in love and exstatic she invited him to the den.
His paws brushing through the waters now, he glanced around with copper eyes for the others, silently scouting out the faces in search for a warm one to introduce himself to. Already, he met a male who wanted to join, and old friends who once were enemies. Maybe today he can make his own friend or two.

That evening found two wandering the lands towards the solitary watering hole. As night fell it seemed that one star had risen earlier than all of the rest; at least, one would guess so upon seeing her treking silently through the grasses, with purpose. Tai, this night, was nothing like the stars above, and the title was still safely more fitting to her young niece, Xu Wu Hui.
The female strode with purpose, as well, aiming for a bath while the air was cool and could chill her fur and skin. When she scented another on the breeze of the evening, however, her eyebrows and ears alike perked to attention. It seemed like she'd have the chance to meet another member of the pride. She could vaguely smell hints of others on him, Mufasa's, and a scent that was similar, but different. Perhaps one of his relatives. He surely had many offspring with his age.
"Obviously I wasn't the only one with this idea." She stated, seating herself at the edge of the water once she'd parted through the grasses. She didn't seem at all intimidated by the other's presence, well accustomed to being around strange males. Instead she calmly leant forward and dipped her head to take a drink.

He faltered a bit before turning his head, having not paid much attention to the grasses as his cheeks flared with heat. Eying the female who appeared older than he, though he was unsure as to how much, he just swallowed slowly and watched her drink. It wasn't until she finished that he chose to speak, and take a step slightly in her direction to make sure they could hear eachother.
"This...is quite a gathering place for the pride, though I am surprised not many are around at this time..." He trailed off and glanced to the water in thought, before catching himself and turning back towards her, "My name is Ta'Ziyan, it is a pleasure to meet another member of the pride." Bowing his head in greeting, he perked his ears and wondered if she would supply her name as well.
