Welcome to the Logs of Jim Stewart, owned by Fallaryn. This is a private journal, please do not post without permission. Info Name: Jim Stewart Owner: Fallaryn Stage: Ship's Boy Crew Position: Deckhand Ship: N/A Description: At a young age, Jimmy was heavily exposed to piracy. His parents were always heavily drunk on rum and did not much care about what their son was to do. They were wealthy, though... wealthy enough to buy rum. But Jimmy would steal some of their money and go off to buy himself things he felt he needed. Some of those things could be clothing, food, and a good washing too. He would even go off and watch the pirates come and go, and this was where he learned much of it. When Jim had recently turned eleven, his mother finally came to her senses, and stopped drinking so much. But it seemed that the drunk-like personality stuck to her at times even without drinking any rum. She tried and tried to get Jimmy's father to quit, too, but all hope was lost, and so she left her husband and her son. This was where he and his father would quickly enter the world of pirates. Unfortunately, a year later, Jim's father was given a mutiny for stealing so much rum, and so Jimmy decided to not go with that ship any longer. He stayed at the last stop and watched the ship sail away without him. Some years later, Jimmy learned how to use a sword with the help of an old blacksmith that lived at the dock Jim left his ship at. He slowly but surely he began to improve in swordfight. But then there was a raid in the town that was part of the docks, and Jim was once again alone. In a bit more description, Jim is fairly honest when he feels like it, and the rest of the time he's usually sarcastic. He only lies when he feels it will save his own skin. Selfish, he is, but he will care for those he knows and loves before himself... sometimes, at least. Other than that, it is survival of the fittest and wittiest. He does drink the occasional bottle of rum, but only when he feels down or if it is some sort of celebration. When faced with battle, he prefers to hide than to fight. What does he think of women? Well, he is sure that they are not strong or smart enough to become a pirate, first of all. Second, they are bad luck! Third, he is sure that they exist only to have a pirate's child (maybe more kids).

Name: Jim Stewart Nickname: Jimmy, Stingy Jim Birthname: James Age: 17 Gender: Male Height: 5' 4" Background: Scottish Parents: James Stewart, Ann Stewart
Attire: Jim tends to wear causually higher-priced clothing, since his parents were higher up on the wealth table. But since both his parents have been gone, he is left with only one set of clothing, and with him being clumsy, they will not last too long.
Weapons: Sword (still have to buy one)
Lover: None Children: None Preferences: Jimmy is just hoping to find a wealthy girl that will raise his kids while he goes off living as a pirate until he gets too old to withstand the fierceness of the seven seas. He would prefer a non-drunkie, and a kind person that will not argue with him (as he hates fighting).
Likes: Juicy red apples, rain, the ocean's colour, white rum Dislikes: Drunk people, female pirates, being faced with real fighting (whether in voice or in combat)
Fears: Bridges, getting hurt, more experienced pirates, drowning, drunk people Weaknesses: He is not very good with his English, and it makes it even harder to understand him due to his heavy Scottish accent. Also, he is clumsy, so he can usually hurt himself just by walking by a harmless wooden wall.
Personality: He seems to be kind, yet he can be stubborn. When faced with a fight (whether in voice or combat), he will chicken out, since he is afraid to lose. He can be quite selfish most of the time, and he will often leave anyone and everyone behind if there were to be a fight or something going on. Lastly, he can and will lie to save himself, and as of yet he has done nothing to save anyone.
About the Stewart Clan: The Stewart family records its traditional descent from Banquo, Thane of Lochaber, who makes an appearance as a character in William Shakespeare's MacBeth. Historically, however, the family appears to be descended from an ancient family who were senechals of Dol in Brittany.
They acquired lands in England after the Norman conquest and moved to Scotland when David I ascended to the throne of Scotland. The family were granted extensive estates in Renfrewshire and East Lothian and the office of High Steward was made hereditary in the family.
It is through marriage with the daughter of Robert the Bruce that we can begin to trace the descent of the Royal House of Stewart. The royal line of male Stewarts continued uninterrupted until the reign of Mary, Queen of Scots. As a family, the Royal Stewarts held the throne of Scotland, and later that of England.
The Stewart tartan is worn by the regimental pipers of the Scots Guards and was referred to by King George V as "my personal tartan". Known as the "Royal Tartan", it is still traditionally the official tartan of the Royal House of Scotland.
The Stewarts of Appin form the West Highland branch of the great Royal family of Stewart, and have come to form a branch clan of considerable importance. Through marriage with the family of Lorne they became firstly Lords of Lorne and subsequently received a grant of lands at Appin. It was at Appin that was built the family seat of the Stewarts of Appin Castle Stalker, on the Cormorant's Rock at Loch Linnhe. It is from this location that was derived the rallying cry of the clan 'Creag an Sgairbh', or in English 'Cormorant's Rock'. Castle Stalker was built as a seat for royal hunting and fowling expeditions and is still one of Scotland's finest sights.
Another famous branch are the Stewarts of Atholl are directly descended from one of the most notorious Stewarts of the fourteenth century Alexander Stewart, Earl of Buchan, more commonly known as 'The Wolf of Badenoch'. Alexander is most widely known for leading the raid which led to the burning of Elgin Cathedral in 1391. Later he built his stronghold the Castle of Garth and settled there. The descendants of Alexander Stewart became known as Athollmen and gave their allegiance to the new Murray Earls of Atholl.
(You can tell the information was taken directly from here, plus you can find out a bit more about the clan there. Most of it was cut out since the PIRATE timeline is in the 17th century. ^_^)
(more to be added perhaps, and may update some of the above later on)

Aug 27, 2006-- Entered a tavern (on Isla Olvidada) after just barely getting away from a sailor's ship. Heard some girls in the tavern talking about rum. Aug 30, 2006-- Met someone by the name of Caden at the tavern. Friend, or foe? Nov 05, 2006-- Went onto the Aurarius and met someone by the name of Tracey. Feb 10, 2007-- I wonder what is inside of this.

Caden Woodward seems like a nice guy -- met him at a tavern on Isla Olvidada. Not sure whether he'll be an enemy or friend... I'd prefer the latter.
