 Dinner & Room Party Guide LinesKey Word: RSVP.
Due to things like, reservations numbers, these events are by RSVP only. If you received and email about it, be it directly from me or through the yahoo group, in which you replied directly to me and I gave you conformation. You must HAVE this conformation email. I'm sorry, it's how it's supposed to be done. We will be creating badges, so I know specifically who can and cannot attend. Those who have gotten a badge, agreed to any of the following items planned: what restraunt, how much the need to provide, etc.
2: Guests.
In addition to the Rangers who RSVPed. Any one of those rangers can have up to TWO guests. You MUST inform me on who these guests are. They also must agree to the items planned, meaning, YES, they DO have to pay their own way. Or you, whatever floats your boat.
3: Hostilities.
We're trying to make this as enjoyable as possible, no-one shall give anyone ANY attitude. We're Rangers, we just don't DO that. So if you get turned down because you forgot to rsvp, and just HAPPENED to see this thread, or FINALLY read the email before the day of the con, I'm sorry, try again next year.
4: Joining in on the Planning.
If we haven't asked you, don't try to force yourself upon us. There's three competent people on the job, we can do it ourselves. So, unless we've asked you to help, don't start planning things [for during the room party and the dinner] without consulting us first. We will take a vote on what everyone wants to do, and so on, so we do give the opportunity to give input, also that's why there's a thread here. SUGGEST an idea, just don't go with it. WE will be doing all of the nitty gritty stuff: making phone calls, deciding the times when everything is going to occur, making the badges, sending out all of the confirmation emails, etc.
5: Getting there.
DO NOT LEAVE IF YOU ARE ASKED NOT TO! If we ask you to please wait until everyone has gathered in a designated meeting place at whatever time to leave for dinner, please do it! If you have to travel on ahead of us, please ask a coordinator first, so that way we know what's going on. At Ikki, a call was made to ask Don to have everyone wait until everyone was in the designated meeting place so we could leave, however, 12 people completely disregarded her and left on ahead of us. If I find that you have left on ahead of everyone else to the restaurant without asking first, you will be sitting at separate tables. Getting there first does not mean you will be able to get special seats.
6: Seating.
When there is a seating order listed on the email -- it is asked that you please follow it. It was stated in the email, that was sent out, the specific order in which everyone was to be seated, and, with the exception of Vic and Wendy, everyone completely disregarded it. So, to remedy this, a seating chart will be made. If you don't like where you are sitting, TOO BAD! You should have specified a certain spot when you sent in your email.
Order of seating:
GOH>Planners of the dinner>Rangers>Parents>and so on.
7: Working at the Con?
If you are volunteering at any Texas con listed, please let us know your schedule so we know where you will be when it comes time for dinner and the room party. If you are adamant about attending the events, but have a conflicting time in your work schedule, please contact your staff head so you can discuss working at a different time. We will schedule according to schedules.
8: NO word of Mouth.
This IS Ranger Exclusive, so please. DON'T let word about the events get out. If they didn't sign up with me, either by receiving and email directly from me or from the yahoo group, they can't come, unless they're your guest, that's already been pre-approved. Sorry, but we DO have restrictions. We make the reservation at the restraunt a week before hand, and usually, they can't change it. Sorry. This is also why we are making the badges and confirmation emails, to prevent something like this from happening. When you arrive at the con, please find a way to contact one of the people running the event, they will be the only two carrying the badges and lists of people that have RSVPed. They will give you their cell numbers when it gets closer to the cons so that way you can call and ask them where they are when you are ready to turn in your email for a badge.
9: RSVPing
YOU MUST EMAIL ME SAYING YOU WILL BE GOING.
I will email you back with conformation, you MUST bring this email with you!!! I will take down your name and the first day of the con I will give you a Ranger badge to wear with your con badge to let me know and all of the rest know that you ARE indeed a ranger.

10: THE BADGE MUST BE SEEN AT THE TIME OF THE EVENT.
If you or you're guests don't have the badge you don't get in, simple as that. We have restricted numbers, and having people LIE that they're Risembool Rangers because they want to include they're self in events that your not supposed to be in. I won't have it. It won't happen.
Note: if you have not joined up with the YahooGroup (vic_fans) I'm going to wonder how you found out about these events. It may have been word of mouth from another ranger. I ENCOURAGE you to join us. We're an awesome group. So, if you do not want to be counted as that person's guest, JOIN THE GROUP. JOIN THE FUN.
RANGER ROOM PARTY RULES
1. Do not trash the room! (Why? This party is not going to be held in my room because I will be doing crash space during the convention and I had to go through hell to find someone to supply a room for this. Throw all of your trash away and pick up everything that is yours and take it with you after we're all finished. I'm not going to spend the remaining time before my shift picking up everyone's mess and apologizing to the room occupant because you wanted to treat their room like your room at home.)
2. Everyone is to use 'Inside Voices' at all times. (I do not want to hear any screaming, yelling, shouting, shrieking, etc. I don't want the occupants next door calling the front desk on us because everyone's being too loud, forcing the other members of Security Staff to break us up.)
3. Do NOT bring any alcohol of ANY kind. (You do, and you'll be SERIOUSLY sorry.)
4. Do NOT bring any drugs of ANY kind. ( Again, do it, and you'll be SERIOUSLY sorry.)
5. No inappropriate and/or promiscuous behavior is allowed! (If you do, you'll never hear the end of it due to my personal upholdance of strict morals. There will be other people there, some being younger than 17, they DON'T NEED to see that!)
6. No rough-housing is allowed. (Come now, have some kind of common sense here. Don't try to prove that you're good enough to be part of WWE.)
7. If you have a problem with someone, try to resolve it with that person CIVILY. If you are unable to do so, come to me and I'll take care of it. (Don't get into a fight over something ridiculous.)
8. If you have a fangirl moment during the DNAngel marathon, keep your squealing to a minimum noise level. (I should speak for myself here.)
9. No jumping on the bed(s), floors, etc. (The people below you will hear it and you know what will happen next.)
10. Have Fun! (If you don't, I'll force you to.)
