[H]ere is the question that sorta rushes through my mind.
[These are possible spoilers for those who don't read the Naruto Manga.]
[N]eji and Tenten's new...'costumes' are quite similar.

Oo Is it possible that they planned on wearing the same thing?

Uh-oh, we must start traking this down a bit more.

Notice the sleeves.
Hmmm, they are both long and flared.
We know Neji, he would probably never wear anything like that unless someone with a feminine side affected him.
Tenten? She would never wear anything like that...would she? She is mostly a tom-boy. But she does have her feminine side.
And Tenten hangs around Neji about 24/7.

Notice the pants/lower part of the body.
Both have some...strange funk to them.
Tenten has a strange hole at each side, revealing her sides.
Neji has a possible belt with an incresed length at each side, covering his sides.

Notice the tops that they are both wearing.
Both shirts have a crossing.
We all know Tenten has a button on the side of her shirt. [Natually]
But Neji has a button now?! Oo

Neji has also influenced Tenten in one way that I know of.
Of course, we all know that Neji cusses. Almost all the time!

Tenten now curses once in awhile.
Theres nothing wrong with that fact
...But in Pre-time skip, we know she was a goody-good no cusser type person.

Not anymore...so it seems.

So what am I exactly trying to say?
Neji and Tenten obviosuly spent much time together. They must have gotten better acquainted. And they must have some sort of relationship other than friendship and partnership.
There will be something more. I think I'm sure of it. They affect eachother so much.

What do you think?

ok.

Neji is just wearing traditional Hyuuga clan clothes, and Tenten is wearing a more updated version of the clothes she wore before. Plus cursing isn't much of a huge change, everyone curses once in awhile.

I don't think that they planned the outfits personally xD I mean really I just could never see that happening. That doesn't mean that your hypothosis is wrong though. =3

The cursing part...I do think you may have a point. I mean everyone does curse a while, but yes they both seem to influence each other a lot in little things. For instance I think that Tenten is influenced by Neji's outstanding power/training/mastery of the Hyuuga clan traits to do her best. Think not of this? Let me ask you then why does she always compliment him on his skills? In one episode when they were looking back into the past Neji and Lee were fighting and she said 'Lee give it up! Neji's a genius! WAY better then you. You could never beat him with JUST taijutsu.' or something like that...I can't remember EXACTLY xD

They also are predicted to spend more time together since they are the only sane people on their team xD

But I'm a bit weak on the outfit side. I mean...Hyuuga's traditional robes...

But the cussing thing...

2100% Agrees with you! =D

I have by far, never seen Tenten cuss before. And if she has, then it must of been some stupid mistake, because I felt a small jolt when I saw that quote during the Team Gai Vs. Kisame fight. [Which was totally awesome, by the way.]

I don't see were you are going with the cloth because I sort of don't see the same thing but I aree with you that they have grown on each other.I think you should have added that thing when they first got the mission and they were talking to each other.

i'm not so sure about the clothes thing, but i'm a bit more apt to go with you on the cussing. however, just because tenten cusses a bit now, doesn't mean that it's just because of neji. she might have grown up a bit (i'm not saying that cussing means you grow up xD) and is more comfortable with expressing herself that way. i mean when you're little, you don't usually cuss that much (at least not in front of adults). however, i like to think that it's because of neji too. <333
