Here be the question:
Rather than making shop RP threads in the guild, why not just RP in the SHOP? I think this guild has greatly stunted Feien interaction and RP - the increase in AIM RP as opposed to casual RP has been rather dramatic. Perhaps this isn't the place to be saying this, but I feel that we definitely need a return of casual RP, otherwise the Feien interaction is limited to the people who you like to AIM RP with and that's just no fun. ESPECIALLY if you have a relatively new Feien who doesn't know anyone.
Basically, I'm saying: shop RPs should be held at the shop. Otherwise it's just superfluous.

Well, I'd have to agree with you on that. I actually don't like RPing over AIM too much anyway, I prefer posting in a thread of some sort. The RPs I do outside of Gaia I do directly on their site, not over AIM, so why do it here?
I haven't really been able to RP with Ava alot yet because everyone I ask to RP with is either busy or they say they'll do it and then nothing ever becomes of it. I really enjoy RPing, and when I came across the feien thread alot of people were interacting with each other in the shop thread, that's really what made me want one so badly. I love the whole idea and the way they look and everything, but I was especially drawn to the fact that alot of people were RPing on a regular basis, which is something I've been without for a rather long time.
But now that I have one, that's not happening anymore and Ava is stuck with no friends. There are alot of feien I want her to meet, but unfortunately the people that own them are never around. sweatdrop

I agree with keeping shop RP to the actual shop, if only because it'll keep the shop bumped and in the public eye. :Grins.: Of course, I haven't been around much lately, and all my RP has been non-shop sourced, but as soon as Maq & Q return to GaiaThursday! Mark your calendars! XD, you'll be seeing a lot more of me in the shop. biggrin

Wonder if it's because the rules state that you don't get points for RPing in the main thread unless you compile it, but then again, I doubt everyone else is as much a powergamer as I am (Course, I'd gladly RP in the main shop thread anyways if I have time. I compile all my feien RPs, anyways)
...yea, I guess I can try starting some shop thread RP stuffage if I get the time. Maybe I should like, post an alert to the guild forum to tell people when one is going on in the main thread. ...poor abandoned lil' main thread. ...but I'm not going to compile for everyone else! wink
Wonder how busy other people are these days. Lousy school...

I dunno. ^^;; I started a rp in the guild because it didn't seem like anyone rped in the actual shop thread. sweatdrop But yes, that does seem like the more sensible idea, doesn't it?
Anyway, if anyone is available (Especially Rhiannon. gonk Raphy and Ava's meeting has been horrifically delayed. Sorry!) I can roleplay *points at time* right now. blaugh

Personally, I gotta agree with this. I kinda miss the mass Rpage that we had goin' on almost everyday in the shop thread. It's like a secret society now unlike beforehand where we were out in the open and the shop never seemed to leave the first page xD;;
I'd like to see more Shop thread rping here.

Also please remember I have an Open RP tavern thread here in the guild that anyone can use at any time. I've been buried at work, but I hired a few employees on a while back. Feel free to post in there and draw others in if posting in the main breedables is intimidating to any of you. I'm still in Dallas, but once I get back within 2 weeks I shouldbe caught up at work and more active on Gaia again as the backlog project will (hopefully) be over.
There has been a serious guild lag problem reported in Q&F for the last few weeks. Has this been resolved? If not, that would explain why folks are heavily resorting to AIM and YIM and other resources to rp on. Having to wait 3 hours for someone's post to show up can be incredibly frustrating.
