Orous chuckled at his luck, or lack there of. Drana had basically insisted on 'a boy's night out', and shoved him and the twins out the door. At 10:00 PM. They spent 1.5 hours looking for an open ice cream store. 30 minutes was spent going to McDonalds, orderng ice cream, and walking to the park. Orous was holding the ice cream, and the twins would occasionally take licks.
The iron tongue of midnight doth toll twelve.

Raj had insisted that they go out walking, and Rian was never one to say no to him. The words still were fresh in his mind - It's been five nights in a row, you hardly blink, a long walk will do you good. Of course, Rian now thought the little.. walk.. was just for Raj. He had hopped onto Rian's back immediately (before Rian had started yelling at him about how his back was hurting) and commanded for him to start walking.
Now, half an hour later, Raj was hopping in front of him, clinging to his hand and chattering about his idea for decorating the new-room for the baby. "I'm thinking death metal meets Disney -"
"What?"

Orous blinked as he saw the two men approching. Night vision had a million uses. On a new moon night, everything would be invisible.
Emes looked up. "Eo!"
Orous chuckled. Apparently Emes inherited night vision.

Raj continued his babbling, ignoring Rian's requests to shut up, still hopping along. It wasn't until Rian fell silent and looked strangely curious that Raj stopped describing a punk Little Mermaid (that he wanted to paint on the door) and turned around to face him. "Something wrong, love?"
Rian glanced at him, shrugging a bit. "I heard something, but.. I dunno. Kind of.. odd for sane people to be out at this time of night, you know?"

Orous had no clue what they were talking about. Being from the 18th century did that to you. Although Drana had mentioned Disney once before. Sane people indeed...
Emes squirmed. "Eo eo eo!"
Eku lazily opened an eye to see what his brother was talking to.

".. Okay.. so.. Let's go see 'em!" Raj crowed, dropping his lover's hand and immediately flying off in a random direction. Rian grumbled, calling out 'you're going to wrong way, idiot!' and stomping after him.
A small arguement could be heard before Rian tossed Raj over his shoulder. "And I said no one in their right mind would be out. Don't be stupid!"
"But RIIIIAAAAAN I wanna see 'em!" Raj cried, sounding more and more like a little child.

Orous's mouth turned into a smirk as he did the 'shh' motion to Emes. "It seems so, young one. And still alive. What a pity. That will have to end soon..."
Emes quietly squirmed and grinned at his father.
Eku went back to sleep.

Rian's ears were good - one of the few things he gained from his odd blood. This was not one of the things he liked, most of the time. "Nnmf. Raj. If I put you down, can you run home?" he asked, voice airy, casual. Raj fell silent, looking curious. "Yes, no? Should I just try -"
"'s wroooong?" Raj cut him off, staying quiet, squirming out of Rian's grip and falling heavily onto the ground. "Damnit, I was having fun. You're overreacting."

“Quite. We spirits are nothing to be afraid of…we just cause disease, destruction, and death…” Orous responded in his calm, but not-quite-living voice. “We’re quite harmless…”
Emes nodded sagely, even though the people probably couldn’t see them. “ Eihsee, uhsion, ah eth.” (Disease, destruction, and death.)
Orous chuckled. “That’s correct, young one. You are learning very quickly.”
Emes grinned at his father. This was so fun~! He was going to do this when he could speak too!
Eku only vaguely wondered if the second man was drunk.

Rian scowled, again reaching for Raj. ".. Nothing to be afraid of. God, I hate cocky people." he grumbled. "And show offs. And spirits or whatever the ******** you are." Raj gave the other male a confused look, crossing his arms over his chest. "If we die tonight, I'm going to slaughter you. I will find a way." the demon huffed.
".. I feel like I'm in a cheap parody of a horror film. Tell me what's wrong!" Raj exclaimed, pouting a bit. A dark hand wandered up to fiddle with his hair. Rian huffed a bit (again, the scowl still on his face), shaking his head.
"Someone's being an a**."

Orous chuckled. "I apologize for being an 'a**', but I'm already dead. How do you suggest to kill me?"
Eku poked his brother with the end spine on his tail.
Emes nodded. Quietly clearing his throat, he repeated something he heard during Alice in Wonderland. "Wewe ah mah hewe....." (We're all mad here. XD)

"Him, not you. Though you're making it sound like you're gunna hurt him, and.. That brings out a bad side of me. I 'unno. I'll make you.. um.. be in pain" Rian started, slowly. After eleven at night, he wasn't good with insults. Raj decided to stay quiet (after a sharp glare from Rian), listening to the conversation he couldn't be a part of. "Anyway, you wouldn't kill a baby, would you?" Rian drawled, crossing his arms over his chest.
Raj snorted a bit. "I'm hungry now." he muttered, Rian pinching his arm. "Eeeergh.."

Oh dear. Someone was lacking in the 'awake and concious' department, wasn't he? Orous disappeared and re-appeared a foot behind the two of them. "Depends. Would you?" There was no room for error in Rain's response, Orous's voice said so.
Emes grabbed a handful of ice cream and held it in the general direction of Raj. "I eam?" (Ice cream?)

Rian jumped, spinning himself around and giving him the filtiest look he could manage. Which really wasn't much, considering how his eyes were drooping slightly. ".. I probably wo-" he was cut off by Raj's loud squeal.
"AWW! See, I want one like that!" Raj crowed, bouncing over to the child. His hunger was forgotten, it seemed.

Orous's white, pupil-ness eyes remained unblinking. "Would or would not?"
Emes grinned happily. "Ewo ehso!" (Hello person!)
Eku opened a sleepy eye to see the people......RIGHT THERE. He buried himself into Orous's hair, dragon tail wrapped around his father's shoulder.
