OK, so as far as i know, DN 7 came out early. Like 15 days early. Well i got it yesterday and it has MAJOR SPOILERS so if you haven't read it, don't highlight my post ^.^
OK, so with L and Watari, Aiber and Wedy out of the pic, do you think that Near or Mello will catch Light first?

I just read it last night, and needless to say, I was heartbroken and I am now set against raito...with a bloody passion, lol. This is for reasons I'm sure you can all guess^^

I'm eager to see what Near is going to do, Mello is just well, bratty, I think *dodges any opposing attacks from Mello fans* He's just trying to come off as number one for once...That comes off a little self-righteous to me... Not so much a fan of him. Near, I like. my hair actually looks more like his than like L's, just from how wavy it is.

Mm. I've read all of Death Note; but I still get the monthly releases. Volume 7...I find it hard to read because on the front cover; L is upside down, and you read it backwards; so I always turn the book the wrong way when i go to read it. It's annoying. So I try to remember for next time I read it, but I keep turning it upside down. Damn you L for being upside down!

I think the Mello will catch him first. Cause hes so much like L that its uncanny.

I really dont like the new characters, and of course I am devestated about what happened in the last one. All in all though it is a good volume ><

What? No conspiracy theories yet? When they were this far with the scanslations, I remember people coming up with all kinds of reasons on why the events of book 7 are not as they seem... But here, nothing.

I wanted to cry when it happened!! Partially because.. there was no real build-up!! Just BOOM and it's done! Then Light sits there and grins, and pretends to freak out. I think he might've over-done the freaking out part. But that's probably just me.
Plus he seemed to get over Rem really fast. I mean, when he saw Rem, you know? He's screaming one second, deathly calm the next. I'm sure L noticed. (At least to L, he was screaming over Rem... So he wouldn't get why Light suddenly calmed down again..)

Then again, there's also the fact that with the scanalations, it was chapter by chapter... Maybe getting a bunch of chapters together makes a difference in how things are percieved?

I don't believe it.
L is my favorite character; he can't just disappear.
I have to saw Near and Mello are interesting,
but I have been moping around because of L.
Light just grinned. I don't think he really meant that grin..
how can a person who just wants to rid the world of evil forces kill someone like L? Although.. he was in the way...
Near.. I like his hair. xD But.. he's not as fun as L.
And Mello is just plain creepy.
I can't wait for Volume 8~. o__o;

LOL that heppens to me to. Then I open up the book and wonder for a moment why it's upside down. XD Then I close it, and start over.
