What's your favorite string to play on a standard 4 string bass guitar? Mine would have to be E.

Ehh... G? Some of the more interesting bass lines come with the G string.

Most of the time I prefer to use the E as my bass lets out a nice rumble. However, A is definately vital as how else can you make 'Louie Louie' what it deserves to be!

whenever i play a Tool song, i tear it up on the E, but i love to play melodies with all the strings!!

I love the E-string... It can make your windows and everything Vibrate, but I love my B-string. I have a Hamer Slammer series 5-string
