Bio: Meeki aspires to be a great fighter one day, perhaps one of the best, despite her gender and small size. She refuses to let anyone or anything get in her way.
She grew up to poverty, her mother was a prostitute that had constant suitors at her house so Meeki spent most of her time outside, on the streets. She is very fit from the constant exercise she gained from playing (and running from trouble). She is also quick on her feet.
When she started to bloom, she began dressing up in baggy clothes and tucked her hair under a hat to hide her gender. There were a lot of drunken perverts on the street and on the few moments she was at home it made her feel more comfortable. Occasionally one of her mother's 'customers' would grope Meeki and try something with her until her mother intervened.
When Meeki was 16 years old she came home one night to find her mother dead, throat slit and bruises all over the body. It seemed she had either been raped or had just saw to a customer that got his kicks from killing his women afterward. Meeki packed up what little belongings she had before setting the house (and her mother's corpse) on fire.
For the next few years, Meeki lived by doing odd jobs such as cleaning and cooking. Her life became more and more difficult as her body blossomed into that of a beautiful young woman. With her spare money, she purchased a couple small knives which she has taught herself how to use. She fights with a knife in each hand. With the speed and grace that comes from her small size and well fit form, she had gained quite a reputation in her corner of town. Most of the men know not to mess with her. Of course, there's new people coming and going all the time so Meeki is seldom at peace.
She gained the nickname "Trouble" by the males in her area. "Don' mess wit' er, she's nuttin' but trouble." The name stuck and it's what she goes by, leaving her true name, Meeki Hawthorne behind.
It was as Trouble that she heard about a ship that was looking for a crew. Trouble could fight pretty well for someone her age and gender and she heard that this ship had a lot of females on it so she could even be herself and dress more femininely without having to worry about a male thinking her body is fair game.
Though she is in her early twenties now, Trouble is still a virgin and has a great distaste for males. With her past history and the death of her mother, she believes that the only thing males want or seek out in a woman is sex. Therefore, she believes that's her most precious prize and so far, remains the one thing she has never given away.
