..:Introduction:..
...When you stand on Mothers Hill, in the distance you see many other mountains and towns.
One such mountain is Mineral Moutain and the town at the base of it was once, hundreds of years ago, the original Mineral Town.
A starving young man, his wife, and their three month old son, dirt poor and homeless, found Mineral Mountain when they were wandering the valleys searching desperately for food. The mountain had loads of edible plant life, inlcuding some of the best strawberries and apples for miles around, and the land contained many trees that were perfect for constructing houses out of.
Eventually, loads of poor families were flocking to the town. The man's name was Addel Mineral so naturally the place was named Mineral Town.
One evening, a very old woman with white hair that trailed behind her like a knotted wedding veil, ragged clothes that were clearly made out of potato sacks and doleful dog-like eyes.
When the town was established, Addel Mineral promised that there would be no kind of currency whatsoever. Everyone would share food and build homes for each other no matter how poor they were. In Mineral Town, you could come dirt poor and be given some land, a house and everything was free (short of stealing, of course).
However, things changed over the years. Addel, his wife, and his son were now living the rich life. Their house was four floors high, they had the finest of everything in town, they became snotty and money-obsessed even though they vowed everything would always be free for those who needed it.
In the shops they had built, Addel demanded that they begin charging money. In the bakery that supplied the old Mineral Town with most of their food supply, Addel's wife Penelope began charging gold for the goods.
Their son was the worst. Henry found two horses in the woods one day while walking and eventually bred them. He used to give the foals to the families in town for free. Now he rode through town on the horses no one could afford to buy anymore. Eventually he put a claim on all of the horses in the woods so no one could ever take them without paying him first.
By the time the old woman arrived, the friendly little town had turned into a bitter and unhappy place. She was turned away and laughed at immediately when she asked for free land, a horse, a house and three weeks of free food.
Addel, Penelope and Henry thought nothing of the little old woman. Their hearts had frozen and shattered a long time ago. It would be the biggest mistake of their lives.
A family in town took the old woman in and eventually the woman's daughter came to live with her after her rich husband died and all of his money was stolen from the bank. By now Henry was running the town while his parents sat in their huge house and counted all the money they had had made by the local blacksmith. He was the third richest person in town. And he took whatever he wanted. The old woman's daughter was something he wanted. He married her the day he met her and forbid her to speak to her mother if she wanted to remain his wife.
However, the old woman refused to leave her daughter alone. She kept writing her letters and somehow sneaking them into the Mineral house. When Henry found out he was outraged. Five days later, a guillotine was constructed. The old woman was the first to use it.
All of Mineral Town turned out to see the woman who defied the Mineral family killed. There wasn't a single dry eye as the old woman walked up to the noose, had it put around her neck, and said her last words.
Glaring directly at Henry, she said the following: "Though my body is worn and aged, the soul inside can live for centuries more. Don't think you've seen the last of me. Remember, Henry, filthy swine are all slaughtered in the end, no matter how valuable and fat they are." With that she stepped off of the platform.
A week to the day she died, Henry, Addel and Penelope all dropped dead themselves in a fire that destroyed their entire mansion. At the same moment, all of their shops in town burst into flame. Everything they worked so hard to achieve disappeared in the blink of an eye.
The people of Mineral Town rejoyced and wept at the same time. On one hand, the Minerals were dead! They could live in peace from now on as it was intended. But they had lost just about all the shops in town and no one really wanted to take the time to rebuild them. So they founded a new town, abandoning their old home like a shed snake skin.
The town that they founded was also named Mineral Town. When they had children, built shops, and began living in harmony again, the townsfolk all agreed to never tell their children about their past in the old Mineral Town. It became a secret.
Until now.
..There is a pond at the very top of Mineral Mountain bordered with multi-colored rocks and tall trees. The waters are said to be the location of the old woman's soul (she never did tell anyone her name). Sine no name was ever given, the townsfolk called her the Mineral Witch.
It is said she will grant wishes to people who throw things into the pond. But it is also said once your wish is granted, you'll be devoured in flames a few days later.
It's also said that, if anyone ever were to disturb the final resting place of the Mineral mansion or the rest of the town, the wrath of the Mineral Witch will awaken again. Only this time, the ending wont be so quick....
..These are only rumors....?

...Rules...
1. You must request to live in one of the haunted houses (see the next post)
2. Okay. Say you wanted to kill one of your charicters because you are tired of playing them or something. That isn't against the rules at all.
However, you cannot kill someone else's charicter without their permission.
And when you post please put at the very top ((I have permission from -insert name of user here- to kill the charicter -insert charicter name here))
3. Cursing may go as far as hell and damn. Sorry but I dont want the younger people of the guild, if any, to learn bad words off of here. I also dont want the yelling parents (not saying that would happen but you can never be too careful 3nodding )
4. Try not to be too graphic with violence. Seriously.
5. You can request to be one of the few townspeople but only I can play the Mineral Witch!!! (Muahaahahahahahahaha)
6. If you sign up to be one of the main people and the dont show up for a long time (meaning over eight days) you wont be that charicter anymore. Unless of course you are going somewhere and notify me first.
7. If you have to leave you house immediately and dont have time to tell me, then come back and you were kicked off then you can just tell me. You'll get your charicter back and everything blaugh
8. As a precaution I am not going to assign people to be charicters that someone else has already been for at least three weeks. I'll play that person during that time.
9. You are allowed to play mythical creatures, you can have mythical pets, BUT ABSOLOUTLY NO WITCHES. THERE IS ONLY ONE WITCH IN THIS AND THAT'S ME. You are allowed to have super powers but no one is allowed to make potions, cackle or be witches. Got it? That's my thing!
10. FOLLOW ALL OF THESE RULES. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Available Haunted Houses:
2. Gordon Ranch- Haunting Type: (dont know the actual term for this kind of haunting) scares people. You can mainly see these ghosts in mirrors or doorways.
3. Belline Schoolhouse (to work here you must put in your profile that you want to be a teacher as an occupation): Haunting Type- Poltergeist
5. Lewiston Acadamy(This is school is for teenagers ages 13-18. It's like a high school but you can take a whole bunch more classes, including farming.. haha. Once again, if you'd like to be a teacher here you need to put that in your occupation. Same goes for if you want to be a student here.): Multiple.
((I'll repeat this again, you need to ask to live in these places. However, once all of these houses are filled, you can make up your own hauntings in your houses.))

!!IMPORTANT!!
Something I forgot to mention is that this town has schools where people can apply to be teachers. They need to be at least eighteen, and in they need to add the following to their profile as well as writing in their Occupation box that they are teachers:
Grade (what grade you teach. There is a small school house that teaches kids up to middle school grades or you can teach at the acadamy, which teaches basicly high school kids.):
Subject (the basics like math and science and english. Plus Agriculture, Outdoor Studies (teaches about flowers and such) and farming):
Also, if you are playing a child you need to apply for school. In your profile this is what you need to include at the bottom:
Schedule (make up your own schedule, be reasonable of course and remember there are six and a half hours of school. Pick your own subjects and whe nyou go to school pretend there are more people there than there might be in the rp at that time.):
Grade (I'm assuming everyone knows how ages are coordinated with grades in the real world. If you dont know then ask someone.):
