andhow does the flood kno how 2 use thing like guns,driving, and how do they kno how 2 fly things

I've explained this...
The flood is an infection that was unleashed in halo when the marines unlocked the door. the flood lives by feasting on other bodies. when the flood take over the bodies, there could be memories left in the just deceased body. The flood reanimate the body, and what memories there are left can be used. But apparently in a sloppy way. (Crashing pelican in halo 2) Therefore, halo was a weapon created to destroy all seninent life, which includes the flood, and anything they can consume.
Clear things up for you?

Basically, the flod is a virus, it spreads.
Like most viruses, we don't know EXACTLY where it origionated, but it has been around for a long time.
How?

when i first saw the flood i was like "WTF? are these things?" but in the end they just went well with the game i love it when they pop blaugh

Well the Flood is more than an ordinary virus.
Perhaps in Halo 3 it will explain where they came from and who or what made them.

some one told me that the flood are the forunner and that they trnsform into them but that would not make any sense

The flood are most definately not the forrunner.
In my opinion, forrunner lived on earth long ago, so they might as well be human. You can tell they lived on earth, because in the halo 3 trailer, the large forrunner structure was uncovered by the coventant in Mombosa, Africa
