Kellen had just woken up - it was later than he had meant to sleep. Poor Fal was still sleeping, and he let him. Getting up without disturbing him, he went over to pick up Dante, and start to carry him to the kitchen.

"NOOOO!" Mae struggled against his "captor's" grip, growling and hissing as he was dragged inside the mansion. "I don't wanna! Leggo!"
Chibi sighed inwardly as he stubbornly pressed on, pulling the toddler hissing and spitting towards the mansion. "You're supposed to have your check-up, Mae. Pry said so. There's nothing I can do about it!" He said through gritted teeth as Mae's fangs nearly caught the skin of wrist. "It'll take five seconds, for Inari's sake! Just come!"
Mae just bared his teeth, digging in his heels. He didn't want to go!

Kellen was halfway in the middle of feeding Dante, when the little one started squirming excitedly, and whimpering. He finally had to set the catfish down, and put up the bottle, watching him "swim/crawl" his way over to the door.
"Someone here, kiddo?"

Mae momentarily stopped his struggling at the sight of Dante, giving enough time for Chibi to secure a firm arm lock on the toddler. "I told you! I'm not doin' it!" Attempting to bite the tanuki, with little success, the dark chocolate Sin'aeis kicked him in the shins, trying to break free.
Chibi grunted at the kick, but managed to keep a firm grip on the boy. "Don't argue! It's only a check-up!"

Kellen blinked at the two, and got to kid-level, eye-to-eye with Maelon.
"Are you afraid, kiddo? Don't be. I promise across my heart may lightning strike me, that I won't hurt you."

Mae paused, eying Kellen as though he had just stepped on the boy's beloved tarantula. Wouldn't hurt him? Bah. "Whasat supposta mean?" He replied darkly, to focused to struggle.
Deciding that this was one of those "let the professionals handle things" situations, Chibi remained quiet, loosing his grip slightly on Maelon.

Yukito hopped his way to the clinic. Was getting easier now that he had the hang of the steps. He knocked on the door before peeking in, "Dr Kellen? I brought your book back." He said as he opened the door up enough to step in. Then tilted his head to the side, tail swishing back and forth, "Maelon?"
Was he here for his check up, "Ah. Sorry. I will leave the book here so I don't get in the way."

"Yuikto! Oh, no, don't leave so soon. Stay? You are, afterall, my intern. I've missed you lately."
He smiles lightly, and motions towards Maelon.
"In fact, while I go back and work on clearing some space, as the packages just arrived, would you mind explaining to him what I'm going to do?"
He pats Yukito on the head, and meanders back into the exam room to start carrying out boxes.

Yukito? Expression brightening at the sight of his friend, he was about to convince the white chocolate to help him, when the boy spoke to the doctor! What?! He was interning for this guy?! Growling, Mae bared his teeth again, not liking the fact that he was backed into a corner.
"Hey Yukito." Chibi said with a small smile, recognizing the white-haired boy. So he interned here? How cool.

"Hello Mr Chibi." He said in greeting then looked over at Maelon, "Hello Maelon. Didn't expect to see you here. Was only going to drop off the book." He said holding up the anatomy book he had been reading. He tilted his head as Maelon barred his teeth, "You ok?"

"No." Mae hissed shortly, wishing that Pryderi stubbed his toe on something painful for sending him here into the hands of some doctor guy he didn't even know. What kind of logic was that?!
"He's just upset because Pry wants him to have a check-up." Chibi filled in, rolling his eyes in an exasperated manner. "Maybe you could convince him that he's not going to be molested...or whatever he's thinking."

He nodded then set teh book down, "Yeah." He said walking over to Mae and reached a hand out to ruffle his hair gently like his Protector did to him, "Poor Maelon." He said, "I'm sorry that your scared."
He gave him a smile, "I can help Dr. Kellen with your checkup if you like." He told him, "I'm learning doctor stuff from him after all."

"I'm not scared!" Mae defied, crossing his arms over his chest stubbornly, as Chibi had forgotten to keep a hold of them. "Doctors just do weird stuff! Midori told me!"
"Liar! Midori wouldn't tell you that kind of stuff." Chibi argued, scrunching up his nose angrily.
"He did!" Mae responded darkly, before looking back to Yukito. "You would?" He asked softly, silently hoping Yuki would could in with him.

"MmmHmm. I know how to listen to hearts, what they should sound like. Listen to breathing. I will be of the best help that I can and I assure you Dr. Kellen isn't weird. He gave me a check up when I fell and is helping my ankle get better." He assured him, "He's nice."
He wagged his tail, "Don't worry ok? And maybe you will be able to meet Dante. He's soooo cute! He has a tail instead of legs and kitty ears."

As if he heard Yukito, Dante came crawlswimming out of a nearby doorway, Falcon running after him.
"Dante! Dante, get back here!"
