Miira was walking down the street with a shopping list in her hand. She sighed as she thought about the need for her shopping, since she hasn't gone shopping in a month. She was tired of eating out all the time, too.
"Oh well." She looked over her list and made a turn to take a short cut to the store. Miira didn't own a car, and she wasn't that much into exercising, though she still did it a lot.
"Hello. Who are you?" A voice from a tree beisde Miira said. Miira looked around for the person who spoke to her.
"Who-who's there?" She asked. A little tiny faery things flew out from behind a leaf. "What are you?" Miira asked, eyes opening wide. The fairy things smirked.
"It's impolite to ask for one's name with out give your own. I'm Sam, by the way." The fairy things said. "And I'm a Sidhe."
"I-I'm Miira. What's a Sidhe?" She asked.
"Sheesh. You're so questionable." Sam rolled her eyes. "A Sidhe is me." She said.
"Why are you-" Miira cut off, not wanting to be annoying. Sam rolled her eyes again.
"You're gonna be my guardian until I can find my way back to the Faylinn." Sam said, pointing a finger at Miira. "Now, take me to your shelter. And get me some food."
"I was just on the way to buy some."
"Don't contradict me!" Sam yelled, she flew over to Miira's shoulder and sat on it. "Now, move!" Miira yelped and turned to run back home.
She arrived quicker than she expected and went to the cabinets to see what little food she had. She really needed to go shopping, but she shrugged it off.
"Well, I have an apple, if you want it." Sam rolled her eyes again.
"Fine. Just cut it up." She said. Miira nodded, cut the apple, and gave it to Sam.
"I'm going to go shop. Is there anything you-er...would like?" She asked.
"Just get me sugary things." Sam said. Miira nodded and walked out the door, rushing to the store. She didn't trust the little Sidhe in her house and wanted to get back as soon as she could.
When she did get back, she was surprised to see the little fairy passed out on a blanket on the couch. There was a slight fold over her, keeping her warm. Miira gave a small smile after seeing it and tucked her in better. Then she went to put the groceries away and decided to take a nap herself.
