Bounce, bounce, bounce, Earako was all barely contained energy as she approached her next class, Vimber at her side. A one on one class all about her dragon? How exciting. It was only as she reached the door that she forced herself into a sedate walk, back straight and head held hide. The albino bat child made quite the ladylike picture as she walked into the room, her dress all black lace and velvet, her parasol closed but held at her side.
Vimber was equally proud, if not quite so lady like. She didn't like school. Not the people, all of them after her Special, she just knew it. Not the open spaces that made her so on edge and wary. Not the teachers and the attention they demanded from Special. Attention that was rightfully hers. She hissed as she entered the room at Earako's side, intent on making it clear exactly how she felt about the man in the room.

"Oh, she's nervous!" The albino bat announced, her ladylike attitude ruined as she knelt beside the hissing dragon and began to murmur soft reassurances.
Vimber was more than happy to lean into the pettings, but her eyes never left the man, a piercing angry gaze.
Special was hers.
"I'm sorry about this, Sir. She's shy," Earako explained, scratching the 'shy' dragon lovingly, and getting a low happy thrum for her efforts. "New people make her uncomfortable. But she's really very sweet."
Considering the request for questions, the young bat considered quietly, still focusing primarily on Vimber. "Well, Vimber doesn't like to be outside. They said, when I saw her egg, that it was because she's so bright that something could eat her.
"Will she always be scared?"
Relaxing under the gentle touch Vimber collapsed in a casual sprawl, pushing against her Special's legs until she too sat down. Resting her head on her velvet covered lap, she continued to watch the other, her expression superior. Just let him try to steal her now.

"Oh! I already have a dress with rust accents." Of course, she would be growing, so there was no reason not to buy materials for another dress, one she could wear when she was older and Vimber more darkly tinted. "And it's really a very pretty colour."
Smiling fondly, she continued to stroke Vimber's jaw, scanning the room as she tried to decide if she had any other questions. Seeing the blackboard, she read it quickly, her expression transitioning from content to confusion, "Sir? What does coe-vet-os mean?"
As she spoke, Vimber shifted, curling behind her Special so that her head remained on her lap, with her forefeet on one side of her, and her her back feet on the other. Her tail snaked like a bright ribbon about the bat's waist. Eye's half closed in sleepy content, she allowed herself to be petted, her wings folded losely against her back.
Just let the other try and get close now.

"She does like shiny things." Earako admitted, her expression holding a hint of amusement as she thought about what the word meant. Vimber was very protective of her things, and wouldn't let anyone touch them, except her. And even she wasn't allowed to take them outside of the dragon's sight. So, it made sense.
Content with that, she moved her attention back to the board, but the rest of what it said seemed clear enough. Big wings. Good fighter. Maybe that would be enough to convince Dad that she didn't need to learn how to fight, if Vimber could do it for her.
"She'll breathe fire, right?" She asked abruptly, remembering her Da' muttering about having to fireproof the entire house. "She hasn't yet."
From the tones of her voice, the affection there, it was clear that her Special was talking about her. That, and that alone was the only reason she let the conversation continue without interfering. If the other wanted to listen to Special talk about how amazing she was, that was fine.

What a day to be running late? Panting slightly, Anoki clip-clopped down the halls of D-Corp, frantically checking door numbers. Someone, usually Raven, woke him up bright and early every day, generally far earlier than he even wanted to be awake. But for some reason Raven herself had slept in, and so had Anoki. Which would be fine, except that day was a class to learn about Myung-Ki!
As if reacting to the though of him, Myung-Ki nosed Anoki forward. Weren't they going somewhere? He was tired of being stuck in that drab apartment, though HIS spot was at least liveable. The rest was so boring Myung could barely stand it. But he was curious as to where they were going, and the ibex wasn't going fast enough to please him.
"S-sorry Myung... th-there!" Stopping on a dime was still not one of Anoki's strong points, and he slid past the room a little before backtracking and thrusting his head inside. "S-sorry s-sir!"
Myung-Ki was entirely unapologetic, and slithered inside, sizing up the crowd. Boring, boring- well, that last one was at least a little interesting. But all in all, they could have stayed home!

So she would breathe fire, sooner or later. Well, Earako guessed that was good to know. At least Da' hadn't wasted all his fire proofing. And it wasn't like Vimber wouldn't be careful. She was such a gentle dragon!
The sound of a somewhat familar voice coming from behind her was a surprise, and Earako turned from where she was seated on the floor to look and see who had arrived.
Anoki! Of course! They'd seen their dragon eggs at the same time, hadn't they. It only made sense that he'd have to take the same class she did. And look at his dragon, so pretty, if not quite as pretty as Vimber.
"Anoki." Her enthusiasm was held back to the volume of a near whisper, but her smile gave hint to the happiness her soft spoken nature disguised. "Your here too."
Ok, so that was obvious. All the same.
Her Special was not looking at her. Her Special wasn't even talking about her, and the hand that had been scratching her chin was now waving in the air. This was very bad. Turning with a growl toward the cause of the distraction she found--
Wait.
Was he the cause of this? How dare he!
The growl became a hiss as Vimber's eyes followed the new dragon's every movement. As yet, she didn't stand up or approach, feeling that staying wrapped around what was hers was best.

Not bothering to wait for Anoki, Myung-Ki pushed the both of them further inside, finding a nice spot to curl up in. If the two of them were going to be stuck there, they would have to make the best of it. Of course, he wouldn't start any fights. He was better than that, and fighting was boring.
"S-sorry," Anoki repeated, almost tripping over his feet. The teacher didn't sound angry, but it was best to be sure. And then he saw Earako, and grinned. Maybe the class wouldn't be too bad after all, if he had a friend in it. He didn't reply however, instead doing his best to look apologetic as he sat next to Myung-Ki.
